Alan and Karen have an amazing business and the staff are so friendly. You have to stop in and try the sticky pig! This has the salt and smoke flavor from the meat along with the sweet icing from the cinnamon bun. Top it off with one of their amazing sauces and you have the sticky pig. Oh and dont even think of leaving out without purchasing several donuts! Go ahead and call it a cheat day, enjoy!

Wanted to find a quick bite to eat after the beach and this popped up on my food near me search and so glad it did..bbq and donuts which is the perfect combo.. They were an hour away from closing and a lot of the fresh baked pastry was sold and to me thats a great sign of how amazing the food was going to be and this place did not let us down!! One sticky pig and one brisket nachos later we were full and extremely satisfied.. If you have never been, stop by this place to not only support local but to enjoy fresh homemade amazing food

I am trying really hard to like this place but the quality is very inconsistent. One day the apple fritters are nice golden with a moist chewy center, next day you go they feel like yesterdays donuts refried to a crisp so dark that you can barely chew them. Just because you made it into food network once you need to provide consistent results to gain repeat business.

Im a Michigan girl (go Blue) and I know apple cider donuts from WAY back...so believe me when I tell you no one surpasses the flavor, texture and deliciousness of Yummies apple cider donuts. I was fortunate to have mine warm from the fryer and it was like October in Michigan all over again!! GET SOME!

The donuts where nothing special. But what they say is that there BBQ is great. We never had a chance to get back and try it. So only 2 stars just for the donuts, they werent special. But try the BBQ, heard it is off the chain.

Drove up to Venice for a three-hour drive each way. One stop on my list was for donuts. I read the reviews and this place caught my interest. Unfortunately they were out of Apple Fritters so I just got two glazed donuts for a snack after dinner later tonight. I just finished the donuts. They are large and quite good. Seems there is about 2 to 3 regular donuts to make one of these. While very tasty, the $1.80 per donut is a bit costly for regular purchase. Definitely worth a try.

My girlfriend and I went to Yummies to split a Sticky Pig. Everything about the sandwich was amazing. It was the best cinnamon bun Ive ever had with amazing pulled pork inside if it and delicious sauces. Three for three. Service was friendly and sandwiches were ready quick. An absolute must eat.

I ordered a large blueberry muffin. It had one blueberry in it. Their donuts are wonderful though. The apple fritter is amazing! I’m sure this muffin was just a bad day.

The best donuts in the world. Fresh, soft, tasty, delicious. I havent had a donuts in a year. I was fed up with stale Dunkin Donuts and just stopped trying, but than I found Yummies. I have to travel a little to get there but it is worth it. Everything is good.

We love yummies and drive from Sarasota to get the pecan elephant ears I really love. The atmosphere is super friendly and family oriented. Always a happy, classy, and very clean environment.... if youre interested in a most delicious treat then you have to swing by Yummies.

Went Yummys for pacski’s they were good but super super sweet, my custard pacski was sugar glazed and had powdered sugar on top of that,way too much sugar that takes away from the taste of the dough. I didn’t ask if they had a less sugary pacski.

First time there and plenty to pick from . Got a half dozen and their products as far as doughnuts and apple fritter was awesome. Doughnuts was big and tons of filling. Not cheap but to me well worth it will be going back. Cant wait

Great little donut shop with a BBQ menu to boot. I havent tried the BBQ but the donuts were fantastic! The apple fritter was my favorite. The fritter had many chunks of actual apples. It was the size of a small plate!

We had yummies cater our church missions lunch for 250 people. The food was incredible! We had pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches, macaroni and cheese (oh my was it good!), and cole slaw. I was so impressed with their communication surrounding the event as we did not have a lot of notice. They were right on time with food delivery. It was truly a pleasure working with them! Incredible food at an incredible price. We will definitely use them again!

I was there today. Ordered 1 donut and sausage biscuit to go.Pricey seven dollars and change got home no sausage biscuit I got sausage gravy and biscuit. I dont eat gravy so had to throw away. 😟

I e ordered several things from here The ham and cheese croissant is a cold sandwich that was a little off putting. Today, I ordered a jumbo blue berry muffin it certainly didn’t meet my expectations as “jumbo”: it was ok. Nothing special and seemed a bit old but the worst part is, it had 1 and only 1 blueberry right in the center.

Yes, the donuts are indeed yummy. Coffee was good too. Expect to pay a premium for these donuts. If you get one donut you may not think anything of it but if you get a dozen it will add up. Think 2 times the price or more versus the popular donut chain that is everywhere. To an extent you get what you pay for of course. If they had a discount on a dozen donuts I would go more often. Im just not the type to stop in for a donut or two. I get them for the whole family and my family is just not worth it. HaHaHa! just kidding there...but if there were a discount on a dozen they may not make as much per donut on me but without it they will earn my business much less often. Of course with that price model they may have to make more donuts and ramping up production may not be possible for this mom and pop donut shop. Just throwing it out there but if you are looking for the highest quality donut in Venice this is the place to go.

We were excited to try Yummies because of a news feature on our local news channel on Ash Wednesday. The reporter showed a Polish donut overflowing with cream filling and gave a great review on the establishment. We just had to try Yummies and made the 1 hour trip.We purchased two glazed angel cream donuts to go for somewhat less than $5.00 (pricey). The glaze and donut were good but the cream way too sweet and a very small amount just in the very center. In all it was a big disappointment and not worth the price. On a good note the dear ladies behind the counter were very friendly. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch on Venice Ave so our trip was a success.

Good fresh made donuts. It cheap and was little surprised at 25 bucks for a dozen variety of donuts for a neighborhood move party. Sit in area if you want biscuit and gravy or something. Very clean!Nice older lady helping customers. Had scones I noticed when I was leaving.Would do again.

Amazing freshness, fantastic atmosphere, lovely sweet ladies in pink hats at the counter - and, fantastic customer service! What a treasure! Even, owner, Allen Tines, was in the house this morning making us feel welcomed! We will be back as our new home is right up the street! My daughter tried their “Sticky Pig” - fresh, pulled pork on a glazed donut! Never even heard of such a concoction 💗 thank you for a hearty treat as we will be moving all day long! Wonderful fresh, hot coffee too! We will be back! This place is off-the-charts 🎊 a true 10++++++ Yummies is definitely yummy!

I’m honestly rather surprised that there are so many high scores. The friendliness (wonderful!!) does not match the quality of food at all. So many things wrong! The biscuits and gravy had no flavor. The biscuit is not a biscuit, it is a croissant. Both my husband and I both ordered this and both of ours were incredibly freezer burnt tasting. It’s possible that it is all homemade, but it was certainly not fresh! On top of that, I had a black hair in my gravy. 🤮 Hubby convinced me not to say anything because “accidents happen”. Onto the donuts...the glazed is meh. The apple fritter was hard on the outside and the inside! Lastly, hubby ordered a sticky pig to take home because it was recognized on the food network. The meat was absolutely disgusting and full of so much fat. Their “homemade” sauce tasted just like store bought. It really was such a shame. You would think with all the articles and awards that adorn the walls that it would be good. The fact that it was dead in a Saturday morning should have said something. Yummies may have been good once, but not anymore!

Yummies Donuts prepared over 40 donuts for my sons 4th birthday party! They were a HUGE hit and it is easy to see why, crazy-colorful, so yummy, and fantastic. This was so much easier than having a cake and it went perfect with his birthday!

Friendly, clean and well lit. Ladies are welcoming and greet you with a smile. The display of donuts is mouth watering and beautiful. The taste is excellent. Had a Bahama mama lemon and it was just heavenly. Light, and sweet with just the right amount of glaze and the lemon filling was tangy and delicious. Perfect combination! Had a cold brew coffee with caramel fkacor, it was just right! My husband works 1 minute away, I think this may be my go to spot when I am in the area!

The brisket sandwiches we got turned out delicious and their hot bbq sauce actually was almost too spicy for us! We also got an Oreo donut for our son which I couldnt help but try, and that was also super tasty! Cant wait to try more!
