They are not willing or able to work with a person who cannot come in to cancel membership or services. Any other business has work around through emailing paperwork to be signed electronically to terminate membership or personal training. The fact that they require certified mail or in person is ridiculous. This is not convenient for members or those who wish to cancel. Definitely will not recommend you fit to anyone!

CJ is a great trainer and getting me on track to lose the 100 lb goal I have. He knows his stuff! Great motivator.

The staff at the counter are always friendly and due to the virus they have been keeping the gym clean and sanitize. I don’t remember the name of the Gentleman that is a little shorter, but he’s pretty much always there and he’s been a great help to me.I’ve had two friends join the gym and I’m working on three more friends, it’ll be five people total that I’ve gotten to join if the three do join. That should also let you know how much I love going to this establishment.

Ryan and Noah have been doing an impeccable job of making sure the machines are clean and that the members are doing their parts to wipe down equipment!Even with the pandemic, the gym is safer due to their diligence and hard work! Ryan and Noah should be commended for their hard work and their commitment to the safety of the members and staff! Top notch!The manager (the shorter lady with tattoos) has done an excellent job in picking mostly all of her staff as well. You know she chose the people she did, because she knew they would be successful!The people that impress me especially, in addition to Ryan and Noah: the tall African American guy (i dont know his name), Brandon, the shorter lady with blonde hair who works as a personal trainer (i dont know her name) and the young lady with the red hair at the front desk (i dont know her name either). The staff makes it a much more welcoming and warmer environment than it was in years prior.In regards to the new manager, I actually am happier to be at the gym than I was in previous years. Proof that one great branch manager can make all the difference and turn morale around completely!Keep up the good work!!

My spouse and I have been members of the Venice, FL Youfit for maybe 5 yrs. now (we joined shortly after they opened this location). We love being members of this club because they have:A fantastic, friendly staff who welcome you with a smile, keep the place spotless & can answer any question or find someone who can. Managers who are responsive, on site, and involved. Personal trainers who have a solid background & education in fitness. My trainers (David & John) couldn’t be more different personality-wise, but both of them really know how to motivate you to help you achieve your best. Since I’m in my late 60’s & want to remain active, I’m thankful my trainers understand body mechanics and ensure I avoid injury. They are proactive in training me for sports that I participate in outside the gym (tennis/aerial yoga).i have learned so much from them. Whenever my spouse & I travel or are with others in our age bracket, we can see the difference in our movement & energy level. We owe it to being members of the Venice, FL Youfit.

I recently joined YouFit Jacaranda and am loving it!!! I was paired with Dave Green to be my trainer. It has been an amazing experience. He listens to what my goals are and is very invested in making sure I get there. He is extremely knowledgeable and I know he will help me to be successful! I noticed that the entire staff is diligent about the cleaning and safety around the gym making myself and others feel very comfortable!! I highly recommend YouFit! No judgements, knowledgeable and friendly staff and affordable.

I’ve always loved my YouFit (Jacaranda) ! Especially, after they were able to reopen after pandemic this year . They were excellent in all communications as to what the new rules would be . David Green, my trainer kept in touch the whole time letting us know any and all updates, while encouraging us to continue workouts and sending links to more . The staff, Ryan, Sierra, Noah and marlena always greet me with a smile and available to answer any questions I might have . Not to mention they all go above and beyond in keeping gym safe by cleaning equipment tirelessly !Have enjoyed all the new ways to challenge my immunity with programs Tiara, Wes and my trainer David have encouraged me to stay healthy ! This particular You Fit was a great place. The staff were friendly and eager to answer any questions I had. There were better, and more, equipment in this gym than the one I once belonged to in North Port. This was a far better gym in so many ways. I even had a customer come over to me to show me the right way to use one of the machines!!! Love this place!!!

Get your quill and parchment at the ready because the only way to cancel this membership is with a letter delivered by owl. They will also charge your account during a pandemic in which you may not be receiving income and have no possible way of canceling your membership as it can’t be done by email or over the phone and since they were closed you couldn’t have called them anyways. This is a joke of an establishment and would only recommend this to the people you wish to see in distress.

Great place to workout. Staff is always friendly. Feels like a loving family atmosphere. Staff always looks to help if you need it. The trainers (coaches as they are called) did a great job for me. Now I am able to be on my own.Not sure why some complain of cancellation conditions. READ the contract. I cancelled mine a couple of times, but now use the yearly payment which works out cheaper than cancelling. Ask about yearly if you are a snowbird like me. I know some of the kids dont care for us snowbirds, but it is the a way of life in Venice.As for going at busy times go later in the evening. Even the High School age kids act nice to me, but maybe it is because I am a retired teacher and can relate to them.

Affordable, friendly, and well kept, this is a gym that’s perfect for casual gym goers. With only a single squat rack but a full selection of machines and body weight training equipment, this gym caters well to the seniors in the area. Not a gym for powerlifters or high performance athletes, these folks would be better served somewhere else.

I really enjoy the gym but the floors are generally dirty. There is usually hair and dust balls around the bases of the equipment. The rubber square mats in the free weight area are generally dirty and the gaps between the squares are always full of dirt. Ive been a member for a long time. I have never seen the floors very clean. Note: Dragging a dirty mop in dirty water around the floor is not cleaning.

Fred is fantastic, wonderful employee.I like how the staff leaves me to workout in peace. The hours are pretty good, especially on holidays. Decent mix of equipment, but the lower amount of free weights becomes a problem during tourist season and with the influx of LA fitness refugees

Im visiting family from out of state and needed a gym nearby. Great weekly rate, friendly staff, and the gym itself is well-equipped for my needs. Someone from the gym also called me to make sure that my needs were being met!

Initially, I was enjoying YouFit and my personal trainer. Unfortunately, since Covid-19 the attitude has changed and it no longer is a place with which I wish to be associated. The organization never responded to my email and the phone system was left unmanned and without voicemail. I understand that this is a trying time for us all, but professionalism must prevail, which within YouFit unfortunately it does not...

Youfit is an awesome place to go to for a wonderful experience! I have been a member for three years and have found every staff member from the front desk staff to the trainers to be so up beat and helpful! It is very clean because the maintenance staff are always working very hard to keep it that way. The coaches are extremely knowledegable, and they encourage their clients to challenge themselves! I highly recommend any one who is looking for a wonderful work out experience to take a tour of Youfit...and you will be impressed...and hopefully join.

Cant say enough about the staff, all are friendly, helpful and always available to answer all of you questions. Jessie is just the sweetest young lady with the biggest smile and is always busy keeping the gym neat and clean. Very friendly members always ready to cheer you on, moral support.

Staff is knowledgeable & always pleasant. Ive joined many gyms over the years and find Youfit Health Club to be Excellent. Also, its well equipped and I like the color green! The price is right too!

If your a earily bird this club is bad. The people that open up frequently have “car trouble”. Two times this week alone I’ve woken up at 4am to arrive at the gym at 5. When I arrive there are 20 people outside and no one opening up. I enjoy the gym, but this situation has to be fixed and when I called they just say “sorry”.

In the late morning early afternoon there are less people in there so there is no waiting to use equipment.

Very pushy into making you sign up for the personal trainer. They told me that my membership was canceled making me sign up for another one, taking 24 dollars from me. Then when i went to cancel it, a month later i was charged again. They told me I had two accounts open and only one closed, but I closed one and the other one I was told was closed by another employee. They tricked me into opening two accounts and wont refund me my 24 dollars or the 10 dollar monthly fee i never consented to.Ive waited for about 2 weeks bow and its still unresolved, this corporate email is a sham. I emailed 3 times and got nothing back in 2 weeks. Unreliable company, unreliable manager, unreliable owner. The whole point of this gym is to take your money while making it seem like its cheap. 24 dollars up front to open an account, 11 dollars a month, 50+ fee, 10 dollar closing fee. You literally have to go to the gym to cancel or send a letter, its 2019 get with the year youfit.

Great medium sized club, very clean. Never has too many people so you don’t have to wait in any lines. Great for people who never had a gym membership before. Staff is friendly, especially Marlene up at the front. I recommend this gym to everyone.

I always liked this Venice Youfit but twice now in the last 2 weeks no one has shown up to open at 5 am, at least a dozen of us stood around waiting and ultimately left after waiting 30-45 minutes with no employees ever arriving. Talked to several members who have switched or are considering switching gyms.

Great equipment...all machines working all the time....nice people working there who greet you when you arrive ...always smiling and helpful...gym is clean ...available trainers to guide you if you need them ...all very educated in the health and exercise regimen. What more could one ask for in a gym....nothing ...it is all there at YouFit!!!!

I live in Sarasota and I drive almost 25 minutes every day just to go to this particular YouFit location. The staff is so friendly and the facility is very clean. I recently signed up for personal training with David and he’s been excellent so far. He designs a plan specially for you to meet your needs and he’s dedicated to help you get your goals accomplished.I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a personal trainer!

I have been using this gym for nearly 2 years. The staff is super friendly and helpful and greet you by name. There are plenty of workout machines and stations to use. This gym is also a great value for your money. I love it!

What a difference one person can make! The new Manager of Youfit does a terrific job of keeping things running very effectively. The best part about the new Manager? Shes more genuine and cares about the members more than her predecessor ever did. Whenever a member comes in, she greets them more warmly than Anne-Marie ever could have. Tierra, I think her name is, is a good person, and does an excellent job of training her employees. The new Manager is a lot better than Anne-Marie was, and you can sense the difference instantly when you walk in!Also, wanted to put a good word in for Freddy! He does a good job, remembers peoples names even if he hasnt seen them in a while. He wants to actively learn and grow his skillset, and that should be reflected in a promotion to assistant manager!

The staff here has a natural ability to make everyone feel right at home. YouFit of Venice has far exceeded my initial expectations for such an affordable price. I cant see myself working out at any other gym. I wish i could give this place 6 stars!

Youfit Venice is a great place to go for a great workout! I have 3 gyms closer to my house yet I chose Youfit because it offered so much of what I was looking for. Jessie was great to work with as well as the rest of the staff. I highly recommend Youfit Venice!

I have been working out, along with a friend, at this club for 2 years and we absolutely love this place! The gym is always clean (the staff goes around with a small vacuum if theres something on the floor and are good about wiping down equipment) and the entire staff is friendly and go out of their way to help you if you need it.One of the healthiest things I love about this gym, is there is no rubber or strong outgassing smell that I have experienced at other gyms. I go to work out to be healthy not to inhale chemicals!I highly recommend this wonderful club to anyone that wants a greatplace to work out!

Horrible cancellation policy. Especially having heart procedure. $24 for auto pay and $10 to cancel $34 for NOTHING! I email them them at their request and no response back. Typical

I work out here about 6 times a week, and I have to say Lex and Spencer are absolutely amazing. Both of them go out of their way to let me know about upcoming events (countdown to change) and are incredibly friendly people. I love coming here! Brought two of my friends and had them sign up too!

The gym Itself looks pretty clean but the machines are a petri dish for germs. No one bothers to wipe down the machines when they are finished. They will claim they have somebody go around every 20 minutes and clean them. Not true. Unlike the Y there are no bottles of spray next to the machines so therefore people don’t bother to go to the wall to spray. You get what you pay for. If you are a germaphob or have a poor immune system I would suggest staying away.

Visited this gym on a guest pass and was extremely impressed ! If I lived anywhere near a youfit I would have signed up right away! Bring some to Michigan!!! I’ll see you next summer! Shoutout to who ever cleans the bathrooms!!

After switching trainers and moving beyond the lack of communication between management and staff, I would rate Youfit 4 stars. I do wish they were upfront with all fees by giving you the total cost instead of $50 for an annual maintenance fee and $10 for this and $10 for that. People are smart and will add it up, its still reasonably priced - just more confusing the way they handle new members. They also offered Amex or Discover as a credit card to use for the monthly fee, had to have a discussion over using my Visa - guess fees are slightly more for Visa and MC? Another issue came up, I was offered a free training session because I did an online survey which I was elated about, my first trainer told me she would have to check to see if I could get it (she wouldnt be paid the same rate)! What? Never did the complimentary session, changed trainers instead.Oh well, love my new trainer David, he makes Youfit a better place! Great attitude and positive personality. Highly recommend him.

I love this gym. Clean, friendly, and non-judgmental. All types of folks go there. Ive even seen a guy in a wheel chair, the elderly, extremely big people to extremely thin....I feel comfortable there.

I first came to this Gym in Oct. of last year, to improve on my weight loss from the previous year. My son, Thomas, recommended this facility as a good place to tone and bulk up, and not be skinny fat, as he calls it. I am no stranger to a gym, I wrestled in HS, and was combat trained with the Army, so I know what it is to train, but as life gos by, it is so easy to become sedentary, being a cog in the wheel of societys production expectations, and forgetting to pay yourself, in the physical realm. I became pre-diabetic, and overweight, plus my blood results proved other unfortunate results, as well. I made the proper nutrition adjustments, got back on my road bike, and best of all, I started working out at the Venice Youfit Gym . Yesterday, I had my yearly physical, and my doctor couldnt be happier. Every aspect of my physical well being, inside and out, proved to be that of an extremely healthy sixty one year old. Now, Im no Arnold, you have to be married to that level, but i plan to be around this rock in good health, for as long as I care to. I would also like to thank Ann Marie, Spencer, Damon, and the complete staff as a whole, for running such a clean, well stocked, and efficient gym, while always making me feel welcome, and treating me with respect, every time I come and go. Bravo !!

Youfit is not one of those gyms with power lifters everywhere there is a great mix of people and nice place to workout... I have recommended at least 5 people there and they all love it

Horrible lesson learned for Teen grand daughter. You fit took 456.00 dollars in a matter of two weeks from her /my account. I told her she was just being talked into scamming as they had her sign an agreement for 3 months ahead for training. Plus three member ship months and a initial fee of 98.00 . I asked if they would fulfill there obligation of training for next two months and they refused. Said she had to restart. I have yet to figure out how they managed to remove so much money out of the account from 9/30 to 10/15. Horrible, horrible people, UPDATE: UFIT LEFT MESSAGE TO CONTACT VIA EMAIL. THEY GAVE ME BOGUS EMAIL. GO FIGURE RIGHT! SCAMMERS ALL THE WAY AROUND

Nice staff but every time I went, I had to wait for machines. People would be just sitting on them socializing and staff would not ask them to move so other people could use machines. Asked a lot of questions when I cancelled and thought there would be no questions asked when cancelling. Almost made me feel bad about cancelling.

I was greeted by Ann Marie, who was able to answer all my questions in a warm, yet professional manner, immediately making me feel welcome.I could not be more pleased with my Personal Trainer, David Green. He is a most welcome addition to the YOUFit staff. After meeting with me, it was Ann Marie’s feeling that David would be a perfect match, and she couldn’t have been more correct.This review should really hold some weight, because believe it or not, I’m not exactly easy to please.And yet, I am most pleased.

There have been multiple charges made to my account! Even with calls and a visit to the company they are still making unauthorized charges! I have signed a cancellation form, was told that they cant take my payment that day because there was no Manager to take it. Informed the company I would be at work every day, please have a Manager call me on Friday... No call on Friday. Then they charged an old account for the cancellation without permission, causing me an overdraft fee. There is $35 I didnt have to waste on them... When I did get a call a week later, I was told he pushed it through because they couldnt get ahold of me, when I informed them that I dont use that account and the trouble they had caused, all he said was, Im sorry, but that money went back, so we need that payment, well that is fine... I moved some money around but was told when I called back that of course, no Manager again... So today without notice yet again, that same account was charged, this time $20. Seriously?!!!! I was told when I finished my paperwork for cancelling that they wouldnt charge me! Worst company EVER!!! And I am now talking with my bank about what I can do for unauthorized charges made to my account!

Venice youfit offers a huge variety of machines, the staff is super friendly, and it is a very clean gym. The trainers are very knowledgeable and helpful. This is my go to gym. Everyone in the Venice area should give it a try and join!
