Modern coffee shop with lots of seating, easy and FREE PARKING which is not usually a problem in Vermillion. Located downtown, walking distance to the library,and lots of places to eat. The staff are so friendly and make beautiful designs in every cup! Great place to grab coffee with friends, study for exams or work. Along with great tasting coffee they always have homemade, made-that-day pastries and cookies, prints by local artists for sale as well as mugs, journals, and some merch from Sharing The Dream. Very cute place, will recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Whenever I go here, my soul feels so happy! Love the coffee shop vibes and the wonderful staff who work here. Prior to COVID, this was my favorite study spot. I still occasionally will do takeout to support this local business. With the nicer weather coming up, Im hoping that outdoor seating will once again return.

Leslie and Martin are amazing hosts and the coffee is delicious! If you’re hungry try the Bean Bar...yum 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. They are very COVID conscious so you’ll have to take your coffee to go for now, but when the tables open back up - it’s a great place to meet friends.

Nice people, warm and homie vibe. Try out their green dragon bubble tea. I recommend this place and will be a returning customer.

Amazing coffee, wonderful atmosphere

I have lived in Vermillion for about 2.5 years now and The Bean is easily my favorite coffee place. The staff is always so friendly, the music is enjoyable, and the drinks are delicious (try the white mocha with toasted marshmallow flavoring). I also love that The Bean recycles, supports artists, and is community focused. Overall, I think The Bean is a great place to meet up with friends or study for exams. Vermillion is lucky to have it!

Great atmosphere, food and drink. I dont much care for the antique portion and think a window spot for sitting would be nice. However, to each their own and it is pretty innovative to have an antique shop inside the store. Overall though its a nice place to relax, write and even read if you like reading in public spaces.

The coffee was fine. The service was friendly, but didnt want to make recommendations, and then didnt know which drink was mine and which was my friends. The atmosphere was nice, and Im sure would be a nice quiet place to study.

Im not really a coffee person, but I thought I would check out the newest local coffee house. Friendly barista and a delicious raspberry mocha. Cozy quarters. I only wish they offered some snacks, like muffins, breads, cookies, etc. I overheard that they are hoping to expand later on, so hopefully thatll be added to the menu!

Incredibly friendly, cozy, and great atmosphere for hanging out for hours. Mocha, italian sodas, cupcakes, and scones are DELICIOUS!!!

The Bean recently moved next door into a newly renovated space with more seating and, most importantly, they now have an espresso machine! See them at the place labeled COFFEE on Main Street. :) They offer both Good Folks and Coffea Rotisserie drip coffee and espresso options, as well as a great variety of teas, iced and bottled drinks, granola bars, and fresh baked goods! (Their chocolate chip cookies are to die for, especially if you catch them while they are fresh out of the oven!!!) They also have a few shirts, mugs, hats, soap bars, and coffee by the bag for sale. Top notch employees who love to chat if you have the time. Great place to study, have a coffee date, or just read a good book by the window. Buy 10 drinks get the 11th free with their punch card, and they now offer a membership for $50 where you get a free mug, a free drink every month, plus additional special offers just for members.
