Such a cute place, indoors and outdoors!! They had tasty coffees on tap. I recommend the salted caramel cold brew, so tasty! I ordered the turkey sausage sandwich, it was okay but not the best. This shop is pricey but it has a great vibe! Good food choices, a variety of coffee roasters represented, altogether Its nice to have a taste of Chicago in the suburbs. We really love their outdoor space. Extra perk: the gluten-free bread was fantastic.

This place is legitimate for those who actually care about coffee and experiences. The price is reflective of that, but the real ones never mind it. Great selection of different roasters, handful of cold brews on tap that you can sample, all coffees are semi-manual pour overs instead of auto drip- aka made with love, great atmosphere, and the girls behind the counter are good people- they’re genuinely excited about life. After the millions of samples I had I finally ended up with the Alternative Energy (Black and Tan coffee, butter, and coconut oil) and it was awesome. Even my non-coffee girlfriend loved it! I also bought some Counter Culture beans while I was there. I can’t speak on the food menu since I didn’t have anything, but it all sounds and looks great. This place is a top notch choice when in Vernon Hills and I can’t wait to be back. I challenge everyone to stop by and try real coffee!

Really beautiful inside. Swings in doors!? You’ve gotta check it out. The drinks we had were okay but they have so many options we will have to come back and try something different. We had the Vietnamese cold brew and the lemon matcha renewal cold. Maybe something hot next time.

Your staff needs to wear hair nets. I was eating my breakfast and sipping me tea this morning and pulled a long black hair out of my mouth. The man who put my order together had long black hair. Its been over an hour of nausea and trying to not think about it.

Great coffee from Counter Culture. The girl there recommend a roast and made an excellent pour over.

We did the cold brew flight as well the brew bar hot coffee flight. Was enjoyable. The staff was very helpful and friendly with a laid back atmosphere. We will be back again.

Great atmosphere inside and outside. The BEST Coffee!!! I wish they could make cute little designs on top of the coffee and it would be perfect. The croissant was amazing and soft when they first opened but when I purchased again it was a bit hard.

This place was a delightful experience. Staff was super friendly coffee was great, I also tried the matcha once and I love that the matcha is organic. (Highly recommend the breakfast burrito too!) Overall, I would come back any day.

Was one of the best experiences Ive had. The atmosphere was amazing with unique decor. The staff were quick and very nice (made sure to tip 😉). The food was great (especially the funnel cake fries 😋) the sandwiches had a bit too much sauce but they made up for it with taste. 5 Stars.

First time coming here is nice and laid-back a little pricey I feel but I love eating outside and they have a nice little area in and outside

The Vietnamese cold brew was not at all in the style of Vietnamese coffee. Too much milk was added and the milk wasnt sweetened condensed milk or it was very well stirred before. The Vietnamese coffee also didnt come with a concentrated enough cold-brew. Needless to say it wasnt at all Vietnamese coffee. The nitro was decent as was the old fashioned (which i wish came in a bigger size). I like the idea of having water on tap but the water glasses need to be more accessible. The Turkey and Havarti sandwich was just alright and wasnt made to order. Tasted like it was made the day before and the bread was soggy. The place lacks plugs to work from as well. I live in Latin America and the cafes we have in Medellin and Mexico City are generally better. For the Chicago are its okay. Conscious Cup Coffee is better as is Collectivo and Stone Creek Coffee in Milwaukee.

Cool selection of unique drinks. I had a caramel cold brew from the tap, it was good and not overly sweet. The food menu looked good enough to make a return trip, lots of good looking breakfast items.

Has a great aesthetic and is in a nice center, I came from out of town so I dont know the area well but I loved the iced latte and the acaì bowl and the breakfast Sammies were bomb 😍

Cool vibe good coffee. Came in to get the my son and a friend dinner and me a pick me up during a sleep over. The kids meals looked great served in super cool lunch boxes. The boys said they were good and then not much else while they ate first quite I had all day. The place is nice and bright and sorta shabby chic goes to the fair its very cool. Will be back

Nice staff. Complex menu item names and few decaf options, but we ordered two creative hot coffee drinks and they were delicious. A little pricey, but will go there again.

Ugh - latte and matcha was good. One of the staff members was SO loud and ridiculous. I usually go to coffee shops to relax and enjoy a caffeinated drink. Not relaxing atmosphere at all.

We just went into the Vernon Hills location and stated 3 times that it was our first visit and didn’t know the menu at all. The employee simply said, “okay” and offered zero help. Needless to say, we walked out.

You deserve a 5th star. But every time we come in the tables are unavailable, used by people (many alone) not buying drinks from you. Mostly doing schoolwork As I write this, 2 have brought in food from Whole Foods and have no drinks. I guess common courtesy has no place these days (I know it’s not your fault).

Had breakfast tacos and a coffee delivered through grubhub and it was incredible. Best coffee Ive had in a long time and those tacos are something special boy.

Could be nice. Wait staff was not very polite, very brusque with us. I got a mocha and I dont think there was any cocoa at all, worse it was barely warm. My husbands drink was served on ice and he ordered hot. The server acted so offended that he wanted it correct. The menu is complicated for no real reason. I dont recommend this place.

Great modern atmosphere but too much water in coffees.Its too watered down that it loses flavor.Considering the premium price, it shouldnt be that way...

I really really wanted to like this place. It’s super cute inside, the staff was very nice, but the coffee was not good. Nitro was not velvety smooth, cold brew was pretty bitter, and got hot chocolate for my daughter and it was awful. Really awful. Tasted like unsweetened cocoa powder and water. Even after dumping their simply syrup in it, it was not drinkable. We ended up throwing it all out. Maybe the regular brewed coffee is ok?

Disappointing. My party ordered 3 drinks, a matcha tea latte, a mocha, and some power flower Jasmine thing. The menu I picked up said that the power flower could be made with coconut milk or whole milk, and having a coconut allergy I asked for it with whole milk. The barista told me I could, but it wouldnt have any color or flavor(?). Despite my reservations, I went ahead and ordered it (for a whopping 5.39) and after some very long minutes later was handed what tasted like watered down milk with matcha. Disappointed, but I suppose she did warn me (despite it being a menu option?).The matcha latte was the same rishi powder you can buy at the whole foods next door with no added flair, except for the high price point (as a side note, we ordered it hot and was handed it iced, and when I sent it back the barista said but now Ill have to make it again and tried to argue with us over it)The mocha was lukewarm, very, very weak with minimal chocolate flavor, if any, and tasted mostly like espresso and foam.I suppose I might go back one more time to try a cup of plain coffee, but I did not like the rude, slow service or the mediocre at best tasting drinks
