The food selection is excellent, but what really makes Sunset stand out is the staff. Always helpful!

This store doesnt carry a lot of major brands, but the brands they do have are good and well priced. You also have to bag your own groceries.

Aldi is pretty much the same anywhere, except here! This is the first store where they tried out a new design. The exterior looks more upscale and the interior is larger and includes a bakery! So good.

Huge store, one of the nicest Aldi stores there is. Very clean and organized. Large assortment of items and fresh groceries. Theres even a bakery section. This location just replaced Marianos and Jewel for us.

Like coming here place is very clean and organized.Workers here are very friendly and move you thru the check out line in a timely manner.Great selection of food & products and some pretty good sales as well.

Getting a bit annoyed at the relaxed ppe enforcement. As annoying as wearing a mask is its better that prolonging the pandemic. Aldi please do your part as more aggressive variants become more common over the next few weeks. At the moment I do not recommend the elderly and immune compromised visit to enter the Vernon Hills location. If you can, it maybe safer to use their curbside service.

Sweetest guy wiping carts. Been there a couple of times during covid. The same cart guy three times always up beat and very considerate. Groceries have some very great prices. Some stuff can be pricey. Know your prices. Great berries. Great scallions

Clean and stocked! The cashier after 6pm wasn’t very friendly!

Supermarket was clean and well stock it. Produce was fresh and all was in date. Stocker took me to the item I was looking for instead of pointing the direction to go. Much appreciated. Cashier was friendly & quick. Good shopping experience.

This location is usually well kept, with a better decor than their other locations. The employees are also friendly and polite which is a welcome change from my experience at their other locations.

This is one of the newer Aldis. It is very nice and even appears a bit classy. Most things are always in stock.

I had not been to this relatively new Aldi in Libertyville. The isles are very open. There was a very nice produce section. Meat and seafood looked very good. The store was well stocked. The staff was friendly.

Aldi was out of things youd expect to be in stock. Tomato paste, dark red kidney beans...just a few of the things I noticed

Aldis great. The prices are always unbeatable. The food is almost always top notch. Produce can be hit or miss. Some strange things like needing a key for the bathroom, but its a solid grocery stop. This location in particular is pretty clean.

I checked out the new Aldi in Vernon Hills, IL. It is beautiful! Very clean. It has bakery cases and a good assortment of breads and donuts, mots of fresh fruits and veggies!

I loved shopping at this Aldi. There is quite a bit of organic food, more so than Ive seen at other stores.

I love this store. The store manager is nice and polite. I dont care for the insta cart shoppers etc as they block aisles and lanes of traffic while they scan items from their phone to peoples orders, but thats my problem. Their chocolate croissants rival some of the best pastries shops in Saint Louis. Prices cant be beat. It does and can be frustrating when you shop at one aldis and go to another and they dont carry the same items.

Ive been in many Aldi stores this one must be new very clean wide aisles and one thing Ive never seen at a Aldi store was fresh donuts bagels and muffins you pick and I can tell that the chocolate cake donuts were very fresh LOL 😋

Dont be surprised what you would find in this cozy supermarket. Various of organic items with effortable price. Worthy to try some unfamiliar brand items. btw, dont forget to check out their donuts...

The sales associate from 3/5/19 this evening was highly unprofessional and condescending. I have bought from this company and specifically this location for more than 15 years. I will never be returning to this location and most likely not purchasing from Aldo again due to this experience. Very disappointing. Sales representatives are to treat customers with dignity and respect. I left the store feeling degraded.

Theres a brand new ALDI building to do grocery shopping in Vernon Hills and it will save you a lot of money the store is so clean and all the staff members here are extremely friendly and extremely helpful this store is so extreme nice as its new yet if your are looking for a lot of brand names they dont have them here yet youre going to save a lot of money.

This is my FAVORITE Aldi! Its HUGE! They even have a bakery corner. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They have a wide variety of the standard Aldi products plus a really big section of specialty and seasonal items. I can get all my groceries here in one trip and not totally break the bank. And with all the new gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, etc options available, Aldi is definitely stepping up to compete! Just dont forget to bring your own bags and a quarter, youre gonna need em!

Best Aldi by far. Too bad us po folks cant have an Aldi like this by us! Lol! They revamped our new Aldi & it still isnt like this one... Theyre definitely trying to keep up w/the Marianos thats right down the road. Perhaps thats where we went wrong.... no Marianos to compete with in McHenry. But, the do have one close to the Aldi in Crystal Lake, but its still nowhere near as nice as this Vernon Hills location. Too far for me to go on a regular basis but we were in the area & just had to go in to see it. Very nice store.

Pleasantly surprised at the selection, quality and pricing of items. Aldi has always been good at pricing items of high quality (but maybe an off-brand) at very competitive prices, but in my experience lacked consistency of available staple items. Until now. I find that I go to Aldi first, try to buy as much as I can, and backfill whatever rare missing item from a larger chain later. Great produce too!

Newest Aldi in the area.. just opened Dec 13th. Clean, well laid out and huge. They have a bakery in the store as well with a nice selection of fresh baked items. Very nice staff. Its the closest one to get to for me, so I have been shopping there on a pretty regular basis. There is also a ton of parking and it is easy to get to. Its on a busy street and there is a stop light right there. You can see it as you drive past. If you love Aldis but have to drive a distance... check this one out.

This Aldis is the biggest, nicest Ive ever been. It has its own bakery and is it good! Only bad thing is parking lot was not planned out so good for inclement weather! There is a divided cement area where you have to walk all the way around it with your cart to get to your car! No walkway! Driving in and out lane I was almost hit both times I was there. Be very alert!

Return policy is not the best. They dont return the full price for items if you dont have the receipt. Bought item for $15 and when returned I got back only $4.99. Very disappointed

I only shop for some particular items here and for this short list Aldi is great. Not everything is better or cheaper here.

Aldi has arrived and it was well worth the wait. This new location is very modern, well lit and fully stocked. The aisles are organized and items are well presented and everything, absolutely everything, is fresh and clearly priced. There are several miscellaneous brands on the shelves that are akin to many of the more familiar brands that we all have come to know (you will immediately recognize the nod to the name brand).Prices are significantly cheaper than other competitors in the area, including sister store, Trader Joes. There is absolutely nothing compromised at Aldi, as is often found when a stores pricing structure is significantly lower.Aldis offers it all, from fresh produce, to deli, fresh meats, baked goods, IQF, dairy, liquor, canned and packaged goods.Aldis will surely be a fast favorite grocer for many. Stop in and expect to be wowed by quality, freshness, abundance all at great low prices.
