My 2005 Rav4 died in Virginia. Had it towed to Farm care where they pronounced the transmission dead. You feel like part of the family when you go in. They were honest and up front.Although I have used them sporadically over the years.I will be going exclusively from now on. Just a really nice group down there.

Seems so friendly but is passive aggressive scam artist. You will never have a cheap repair. Theyll always find a way to charge you top dollar. If u get a repair expect your car to break soon because they sabotage something. I avoided putting a review until we had to get a shop to check car before sending it to Farmcare and seeing what they do. They should put people before money but I guess thats not what kind of family they are.

My car would not start. Diagnostics showed I need a new starter. Called and Mike told me to bring it in. Was there in 5 minutes Took my car in immediately. This kind of service is what brings me back every time I need service. Price is reasonable, service is outstanding and timely completed. Will continue to have my business.

I needed tires for my 2009 Nissan. Called Costco, they didnt have in store but suggested I buy them through their supplier and then make an appt. to have them installed at Costco. The supplier didnt have any either! Called Farm Car Care and they had the tires and I was able to get an appointment for the next afternoon. I told Mike that my son suggested just getting all 4 tires replaced and I left it up to Mike. He said that while he would have liked to have sold me 4, only two actually needed replacing. The appt. took about an hour and the the whole process was about $60 less than Costco would have been. Went to see if they could remove a rusted bolt from my license plate, they were able to saw it and remove it with absolutely no damage within seconds and sent me on my way! Very pleasant experience, excellent and prompt service. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Technician was knowledge and very helpful! Looks like the place is family owned and everyone start to finish could not have been more professional. 10/10 will be returning

Brought my moms car here to fix her brakes, they had to bring it to the dealership who still didn’t fix the problem. But yet they charged us for labor, when nothing was fixed. After we were told we were not going to get charged.

Mixed, leaning toward disappointment. Made appointment for check engine light. Waited the 4 hrs. Lead tech was in for Mike on Saturday. Said needed catalytic converter $750+. Did the repair. But exhaust sounded louder now after the repair. Couldnt he hear that?. Brought back in, up on lift, now issue is a damaged pipe farther down the line. Not sure if this was real cause of check engine to begin with. Yup I need to get new glasses so not to hit anymore speed bumps. Ouch!

Mike is friendly, the employees are conscientious, the work is accurate and quick. The price was great and I felt safe and comfortable in their waiting area. Masks are required and it is enforced - one person came in without a mask and Mike asked him to please put one on. Great experience - this will be our new car maintenance and repair place!

Service was awful, they replaced a water pump and gave the car back to me with a water hose leak. They charged me for the hose that should have been replaced in the first place. Then I had a transmission leak after I picked the car up the second time. I would watch them while they are working on your vehicle or you might have more problems after they are done with the original problem.

Been going their for the past 15yrs for all my vehicles even my snow blower during a storm nothing but professionalism would highly recommend them

Great prices on repairs

God awful, honestly such a scam. They overprice everything, I had to switch places (due to the fact that they constantly forget to do there job) only to find out that the thermostat wasn’t supposed to be $700 but rather $200. I was completely ripped off multiple times and if I could give negative stars I honestly would. This place is terrible, do not be deceived.

The guys at Farm Car Care helped me out quickly and offered to give me a ride back home after. They were fast, friendly and affordable. This was my first time doing business with them and i will gladly work with them again. Thanks Mike!

Reasonable Fair and Efficient

I originally had an appointment for some planned work this coming Saturday morning. On Thursday I had additional issues where I needed to get it in sooner. I dropped it off that evening, and they got me in early with no issues. They communicated well, were up front on the status and cost, and got me going with no BS. Even without having an appointment time, they got me in and out that day as quickly as anyone could ask for.I will definitely use and recommend them for repairs in the future without hesitation.Edit: They came through for me again today. Had an issue that left me limping into their lot just before they closed yesterday. Even without an appointment, they not only got my car in but got the vehicle fixed perfectly once again. They called just after 3pm with the diagnosis and estimate and the car was ready to pick up by 4:30 even with them having to get the part from a supplier. The price was very reasonable, coming in just a bit below the verbal estimate.I could not be more happy with my experiences here and gladly recommend them to others.

By far the best auto place Ive ever been to. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and everything is reasonable priced. By my wife and I have high mileage cars and whenever we need any work done we take the cars here. They do emissions here also. Highly recommend.

I was apprehensive to go to this shop, I was not familiar with it but once I entered the shop the front desk guy, sorry I dont know his name, I think its Walter but he had such a positive attitude and great energy that I felt as if I was here before as if I was their top customer. With that alone I knew I had arrived at the right place. I had new tires and an alignment done at an unbelievable price. I drove my car all the way to new jersey and what a smooth ride it was. Top notch service in all categories!!

I had a problem with my car about five years ago, it had broken down and Farm Car Care was the closest garage I could tow it to. I had been there before for my emissions testing, but this was the first time using their other services. They fixed my car for a lot less than was estimated and a lot less than any other garage gave me an estimate for. They have been my garage ever since but I havent written a review until today, because today they went above and beyond.Today, Mike called me and asked me if I had a new alternator put in my car recently. I had totally forgot that I had one put in last September. Instead of putting money in his pocket for parts, he was honest and protected his customer instead of taking the sale. Now, the parts and labor are being covered by the other garage. I have to say that is something you rarely see in a mechanic and it explains why they are always so busy. In fact, their busy schedule is probably my only complaint about them. They take a little longer to fix your car and get it back to you, but its because everyone in town uses them because they have made such a good reputation for themselves!

These mechanics have fixed my Jeeps a couple of times over the years and I felt compelled to write a review. I have had to get repairs on my Jeep twice in the past couple months. I drive older cars and things often break! Their assessments of the expected repairs are accurate; the bills you get are usually close (or lower) to the estimates. No surprises with these folks! Thanks for being so accommodating and communicative!

If you enjoy being lied to, having your car forgotten, ripped off and treated like you dont matter as a customer and a person then this is the place for you.Mike the owner will lie to you. He will over charge you. If his mechanics break something they will make you pay for it. If you dispute any charges they threaten to hold your car. Ive talked to a few of his staff outside of this place, after hours. They admit freely that Mike rips people off, scams them and forgets their car is even there for repairs!The customer waiting area is dirty and disgusting. It doesnt look like its ever been cleaned. The bathroom cant be safe for use. Its even worse.Run away from this place. Never go here.

I am being generous with 1 star. When you take your vehicle to a shop that claims they are experts, they keep your car for several days, they fail to call you that to pick up your vehicle and then when you get their they say “Take it to a dealership”. Are you kidding, the car has an issue with the lights you can’t fix that or figure out where the shortage is from. When my husband said something to Mike (I believe the owner) he just said he was sorry yet we had to pay but the issue wasn’t fixed. Come to find out the owner only allowed the mechanic an hour to look at our vehicle. So if you have an issue with your car (even small ones) this is not the place to go. Go to real mechanics!

This a great place to have work done on your car. Mike and his crew are great, they do the job at hand and doesnt charge an arm and a leg, had my 17 year old car done a few times.

Love, Love, LOVE this place! I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Each time I had my car serviced - the service was prompt and prices were fair. They always followed up with price confirmation before repairs were done. Both Mike and Bob are the best and made me feel comfortable that prices weren’t being gouged or games played with complicated, mechanic-ey lingo just because I am a woman. Being personable goes a long way; they ALWAYS asked about my job and family. That’s why I stayed with them for 5 years! Don’t think twice - take your car to Farm Car Care!!!!

I was stumbling around trying to make it to my 2 oclock appointment on time, only to be sitting in the freezing cold waiting area until closing time for an inspection. Now that I have my car back, its making a clunking noise after accelerating from dead stops that wasnt there beforehand.11/9/2019 - Found one of my brand new lug nuts missing on the passenger side, and the other three were loose enough to remove by hand.

Went there for an emission test. I was out of there in 20mins. The place seemed like a happy group of people worked there. Thats pretty good considering most places the norm is dower faces! Thats where Ill be going for some mechanical probs. Hopefully, Ill get the same experience and reasonable prices.
