With the bankruptcy of Sears/KMart, I wanted to check out one of the few remaining KMarts in our area. I have to say, it was well stocked, very clean (bathrooms included) and priced well.They really do have a little bit of everything in this store, tools, kitchen, electronics, clothing, jewelry, hardware, sporting goods and camping items... Its a nice store to have around and I hope it stays open. The manager of this store has been here 30+ years and I can tell you she takes great pride in the store and employees.

Basic Kmart. Kinda old plaza

We went for nostalgia sake, but was surprised at some of their prices. We bought more than expected and got done reward points.For clothing, the prices are pretty good. A lot of childrens clothing which is what we were looking at mostly.The electronics section was bare boned which was surprising given the coming holidays. Very basic. I was told by an employee that the website has more variety.The toy sections was decent but narrow aislewise to browse through. Good pricing on Xmas decorations and trees.Health and beauty was very high priced in my opinion.I did like some of the prices in home/bedroom items. Will definitely come and take advantage next time I come.Cashier was nice, and there were some helpful employees throughout my visit.Its a breath of fresh air from the busy parking lots and customers of other retailers. I just hope they dont close it up before I visit again.

I have been there and shopped there at Kmart of Vernon with my family since the 90s. Kmart have lots of awesome stuff like getting brand new clothes, housewares, new shoes, and other great stuff there at K-Mart. Also at the store, we have looked around with the departments including DVDs, Clothes, Furniture, and other departments with much better stuff. I would love to come back to Kmart of Vernon with my family very soon. Very Recommend.

Horrible. Customer service is slim to none. Lights went out and so did registers Youd expect that from a mom and pop shop not a Fortune 500 company. Employees seemed more concerned about weekend plans than making sure customers were satisfied and properly taken care of. If you want to be treated better than this place I recommend an abandon warehouse. At least then you know what your getting into

Wish I could rate this higher, since it is handy to have a big department store in town. Some good values, and convenient hours.... Then you try to actually pay for the stuff youd like, and it seems there is a hold up with *every single customer*, (prices not marked correctly, etc) Plus the fact the cashiers are required to ask a thousand questions during the transaction (are you a rewards member, you wanna plan, donate this, do you need that, do you wanna use your rewards, etc) and there is simply no such thing as a quick in and out here. Hopefully this improves.

Its a Kmart. Hours are good and the employees are helpful. The aisles arent clearly labeled so its a bit of scavenger hunt to find a specific item if you dont have time to peruse.

Fantastic customer service went beyond my expectations. My granddaughter wanted a doll that was hard to find and they help me find it and organize it for pick up. Thanks you made my granddaughters Christmas a smash. thank you Jessie and Raquel.

Never ever prices ring right at the register if you are lucky enough to actually find mylars or tags for the items you are trying to purchase. Employees are always arguing about the accuracy of the signs they put themselves, never familiar with their specials and promotions. Very frustrating customer experience in store. No wonder more and more stores are closing. If you cant serve and respect your customers you shouldnt be in the business

It seems like the aisles are always being worked during prime-time shopping hours, the staff rarely has any idea of their own product/sales, and the location itself is in a time-pocket thats doomed to perpetually stay 1970. It also seems like the product they offer is ever-diminishing, to the point where -- on my last visit -- not only could I not find a sewing machine, but their main electronics section was little more than a husk of what it once was. An unfortunate place to shop, and an even worse place to work.

2 weeks past 30 day return policy, which I was not aware of because I didnt stop and read the entire receipt, which Kmart said you should have read receipt. I have the receipt, original tags and the Kmart bag and they will neither refund or give a store credit.No help with calling customer support either.My answer now, never shopping Kmart again, I have plenty of other options. They wonder why they are going out of business.

The inside of the store looks a little bit dated and the checkout process is lengthy. They ask you Would you like to join sears rewards (This is where you have to give them your email address) Well the girl at the check out counter got the email address wrong three times and there were 3 other people behind me. They should not ask customers if they want to join if there are lot of people in line... It only prolongs the wait to get thru checkout.

Found a old restaurant inside this, but the store seems more like the 80s than anything today. Im surprised at how much more stock there is here than at other K-Marts, but it still lags behind many other stores like Wal-Mart or Stop and Shop. I personally feel this store is on the verge of closing at this rate.(Place has closed as of March 3, 2019)

Im sorry this Kmart is closing, I like Kmart. I can see why though. They are having a going out of business sale. All prices are higher than most in the area with minimal discounts. The same regular priced items I bought at the same Kmart two weeks ago have prices forty percent higher. Than they mark them down ten percent. Ames, Bradlees, Caldors do these names ring any bells.

A lot has changed within this Store. Sales associates act like Im disturbing them when I asked for help. No one is never there for Layaway. Youve got to do better.

Honestly don’t know how this place is still open. Absolutely terrible customer service and plan on being in line for 20 minutes even at 2pm on a Tuesday. Gave it a second chance, but will never come here again.

I enjoy it reminded me of Ames or Caldors yikes Im old, but really I like stores that are smaller then Walmart its easier to get in and out, plus with the same discounts Im pleasantly pleased. They send a lot of money saving coupons to me as well. Location is good too lots to do in this area.

The store was a mess, they had no real choice of stock and I could find no one to help me. ie: clothes, curtains, jewelry, shoes especially and seasonal.

This particular kmart gives me mixed feelings, i love the low prices but there never seems to be enough product on the floor. Product that is out is typically either completely disorganized or smushed together. The store doesnt feel clean. Most of the staff is friendly but i have had a couple disatisfying interactions with employees, to be fair they may have had a bad day or something. Usually the staff is friendly. My recommendation is to go in with really low expectations so youll be happier with your visit.

I do like this Kmart and it is one of the older ones but luckily, it has no competition so Wal-Mart is in Manchester CT. Luckily, its not closing. This Kmart looks like it you traveled in time to the 1990s when Kmart was bigger than Wal-Mart and if you were in the Bennys in Smithfield RI.

Love IT... KMart with a small town feeling, l think all stores can have rude employees who hate their jobs, as customers be rude also. We need this Kmart, big part of the town. Bathrooms are bad at times. I have always got help when Ive asked for help always friendly always pleasant. Jodi, young lady from London(?) LOVE HER!!! Always smiling, asking how I am and if I need any help just ask...Well off to KMart in about 30 minutes that is lol. See ya there.....

Its Kmart so what can I say....but glad it is here so I dont have to shlep all the way to Walmart and deal with that place.

Horrible customer service by a lady named luisa or lissa something like that, she has short blonde hair with red mixed in her hair. I went to buy jewelry and she didnt even say hello,or anything, she had a very unpleasant face, as if she hates her job I was treated very rude. thats all I can say I will never shop here again. I hope someone talks to her and make her respect customers because she is there because of us.

Not professional, always, always have to check the receipt because their items that suppose to be on sale, never ring up the sale price . they gave me a coupon for my birthday, spend so much, then you get five dollars off, you can stick that up your you know what. the girl said had to be certain amount, on certain stuff,,bla bla bla,,, hate this store, i only come here now in emergency s...so very rare, i rather travel to walmart.

Friendly associates, easy to find items.

Only shop here once or twice a year as the only one near us. I like merchandise and prices. However everything else is the same everytime if not worse . Old, untidy, and bathrooms disgusting. Customer service is bad. All cashiers talk amongst themselves instead of with customers. Had an item with no tag, I actually had to run back myself to get another. Never saw person that was to do price check. Also registers are down alot.

Always a problem when you check out.An item is on sale with tons of the same item. When you get to the register.. they always say that aint on sale . EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Every time I go to this Kmart they take very long with assisting customers very long lines not slot of associates on the register or floor online order pick up process is very unorganized and take longer to find orders than it does at the register waiting in a long line they need to improve the wait time if they are looking to get customers to come back and continue to do business with this Kmart
