Just bought a 75 HD SX175. Has been in a basement since 1982. Excellent Condition. Just rust on the rims. No dents. Perfect seat, no tears. Could not believe I found one like this. Can’t wait to ride it. The first info and pics I saw on the net was from Ken Kaplan and his crew at the museum. What you guys have don there is mind blowing. I was contractor for 30 years. And you folks are doing a great service to the history of motorcycles and the history of your city. Can’t wait to go for a visit.πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘Rick

If there were a way to rate the New England Motorcycle Museum with more than five stars, I definitely would! I took the family for their open house event and it was an absolute blast! There was a stunt bike show, mini bike races, live music, food vendors, and, most importantly, bikes everywhere! It was nice to check out what people rode in on. There were also many unique and unusual museum bikes on display inside the handsomely restored factory buildings. I saw lots of smiling faces and everyone I asked said they would surely be back when the museum officially opens. Check the museum website for the official opening date and then GET THERE!

These folks love motorcycles and the people who ride them. They have an awesome YouTube channel that gives you an up close and personal walk around and ride along videos of the bikes they have for sale. I bought my first motorcycle from them and the price, ordering, delivery and customer relations were so flawless that I am looking forward to getting my next bike from them.

Kaplan Cycles is the best!!! I purchased a motorcycle and from start to finish it was a great experience. Everyone was so patient and helpful. It had been over twenty years since I had ridden and owned a bike, so I needed a lot of memory refreshing. Cody walked me through whatever I had questions about and was a wealth of knowledge. The transport was perfect, and James was so careful with the cargo, and helped teach me how to get the bike started up. At every point of the purchase and transport, Cody and James were available by phone. Just honest helpful people that made the entire experience great!

My son and I bought a CBR 600F1 from Ken Kaplan Jr. It was an EBay purchase and I have never met this man but I must say he was as easy to deal with as my best friend in Tn. We bought this bike for $10.49. Yes you read that correctly $10.49. He bent over backwards to help me get it shipped. Granted the bike needs work BUT he had a video and one of his mechanics looked at the bike. His opinion is that all cylinders will be good but compression on #3 is low 100 to be exact but water got a valve stuck so there you go. This gentleman who doesnt know me from Adams house cat said if you need a few months just let me know oh by the way try Wolverine motorcycle transport and how about Uship. Now for a dirt cheap sell he went further than most dealerships would go for a $5000.00 sale. So if you are looking for a straight up honest helpful guy Ken Jr. Is who you need to see. I got the bike shipped for 350.00 so a 360.00 bike and he did everything but pay for it. This is who I will buy from in the future and who you should if you want EXCELLENT SERVICE .

This is a shop that stands alone...above all the others. Its clear that these guys are about vintage motorcycles, and vintage motorcycles are about them. The museum is absolutely incredible..Words and pictures do it no justice...you must visit this amazing place. Our tour guide Moses was amazing, and he patiently waited for everyone in our small guided tour group to get their fill of the motorcycles beautifully displayed, the breathtakingly restored mill, and the heaps of motorcycle memorabilia on the walls, on the beams, and some small seating areas with all the motorcycle books you can look at. One trip just isnt enough, and the current $10 donation or admission price is extremely reasonable when you appreciate just how much work and money went into restoring this building.Ill be back again and again.

Ken contacted me about a bike I had for sale on eBay, saying he was interested and wanted to see it. He asked for my address, phone number and additional photos. I gave him the info and never heard back from him. Sent him an email asking what had happened, and he never replied. As a business owner, he should have had the decency and courtesy to respond.

Rip off artist! Don’t buy through eBay and expect the bike to be as listed. Experts of Embellishing! There are quite a few other reviews stating the same issue.Buyer Beware Ken and Ken Jr. will gladly lie and deceive you. If you don’t see it in person I wouldn’t buy it.I will work on adding some pictures and details soon

Read eBay reviews too! I just bought a used KTM from Kaplan Cycles, and the experience was top notch. I see that there are some very negative reviews here on Google, but I have to say that this company deserves better. They have far more eBay reviews that are all positive. I found the best value on the internet here, and they had my bike from Connecticut to Florida 4 days after auction close. The bike fired right up, and lived up to any and all expectations set by the sales video. Thanks Kaplan Cycles!!

Bought a 1964 Ct-90 Honda from this this company initially saw the video and read the remarks from the seller before purchasing. Bought the bike I live in Arizona so it had to be shipped. Everything went fine till the bike got here. First of all they did not tell me it did not come without a battery I bought the bike as is so first stop was the battery $24.00 dollars. Installed the battery rode the bike ran great went out to check after a couple of hours gas all over the garage floor. The owner had mentioned some welding on the tank but know mention of leakge. I called them on Monday they told me it must have happened during transport which is very unlikely. Took the tank off went to a welder he told me they had tried to cover up the problem with epoxy. I have no recourse but to write this review the tank might not be repairable which leaves me searching for a 64 CT tank good luck right. If you are considering buying a bike off eBay through these guys be very leery.

Bought a bike on eBay listed by this dealer. Misleading ad with a wall of text at the top and fine print at the bottom I did not notice initially, stating no title and dealer conveyance fee due on pickup. Immediately after the auction ended I contacted the seller and determined CT did not issue titles for older bikes but he would provide a bill of sale and CT Q-1 transfer of ownership form. I said I was available the next day to pick up the bike (half a days drive for me) but would have to confirm with my local DMV in the morning that they would issue a title with paperwork provided.Called seller as instructed once I had confirmed everything was good with local DMV, no answer, left voicemails stating everything was good and I wanted to come pick it up that day but wanted confirmation of the amount expected for payment and what the conveyance fee was for. At this point Kaplan Cycles ceased all communication, no returned phone calls or answers to further emails where I requested clarification on the dealer conveyance fee and availability to coordinate a pickup time. Eventually Kaplan Cycles responded with two snarky emails stating they had sold the bike to someone else for more money.I believe Kaplan Cycles is running a bait and switch scam, charging additional money off the books with eBay so they can recover auction listing fees. They likely hope nobody notices or asks up front since they bury the fine print under a wall of text not relevant to the bike they are selling, then spring this on people after they have spent time and money to drive from far away to pick up so they will not be in a good negotiating position. At worst they are running a scam, or at best they simply cant be bothered to return calls or emails and lack integrity. Beware doing business with Kaplan Cycles.
