My RAV4 needed an oil change and it has been running synthetic oil. It is a new car to me but several years old. To be sure of right oil and contain costs I called several shops. The prices and services varied to include my supplying the filter myself.Toyota of Vero Beach was my last call and I was on hold, but the dealership was just a few minutes away. I decided to just drive in. I was second in line and told the Service Contact my need and found the cost to be less than others. I went inside and confirmed and was told 1 1/2 hours.They were done in an hour. I had the opportunity to read and charge my phone. Took a call all in comfortable settings. Cost was what I was quoted and got great data on my car.Found my service center.
So far all employees are friendly and helpful. Only had 1 salesman be rude to me only because I told them I want no more harassing phone calls from their sales department. My dad is 80 within the last year he has suffered 3 strokes, and my mother has recently had back surgery and cant grab the phone quickly enough. So far so good with no more calls
I took my car in for my 1st 5,000 mile checkup at my appointment and the porters who took the car from me had no idea what they doing. My appointment was set for 8:00 AM and no one even knew why I was there. When the appointment was made I was marked down for the shuttle to take me home instead of waiting to get my car back. Come to find out there is no shuttle and one of the service advisors had to call Lyft to take me home. A half an later i went to go find out why I was waiting so long and they told me my Lyft was canceled. It was a total mess. I wound up waiting for 2 hours in the waiting room. I spoke with Steve the Operations Mgr, he explained what the problems were and promised to handle it and speak to everyone who was supposedly helping me at the dealership. Considering the service I got everyone was professional and courteous, but I still considered my 1st experience with my car being serviced here a nightmare.
