Always helpful personnel. Some prices I π€ but others are great value. Ive found some great values for my wallet challenged family members. Extremely aweeome cause. I appreciate all those that try to raise up humanity. Please dont be lazy & drop at the convenience center & consider here or another NP instead
A great and socially helpful place to donate good items you dont need. Other side is great deals can be found in the resale shop.
I drive over an hour to come to this place there is always a great variety of really useful stuff that really good prices especially if you need tools or construction materials the people are friendly the place is clean theres no public restroom right now which can be an issue because I like to stay here and look around
A huge store as compaired to others. A great store to find things. Always someone around to ask for help. Prices are fair sometimes a little high, depending on the item. A great place to find all kinds of books & toys.
This is one of the best thrift stores Ive ever been in. I am fortunate enough to live nearby and visit this place often. It is huge and fairly recently was expanded upon. It is now the size of two warehouses laid out in an L shape. They have everything you need to make your house a home, including, but not limited to, couches and chairs, dining room sets, desks, chandeliers, filing cabinets, hardware, major appliances, antiques, costume jewelry, books and bookshelves and so much more. I never know what I will find what I walk in. And the best part is that they always have something on sale, and items that have been on the floor for more than 30 days gets marked down 25%, and more than 60 days gets 50%, and 90 days gets 75% off!! We got our dining room table and chairs, a nice table with carved wood accents and 8 chairs for about $375, marked down from considerably higher.
Nice staff, big selection. Wednesday is 10% off for over 55s, every week. Well definitely be back!
Things are very high on alot of things I have bought from them for Years and fair and affordable but now its out of hand on the prices ...
I was looking for a mattress for my grandson I got it for a wonderful great price only 25 bucks they carried it out for me and gave me a little pepperoni treat for my little Daisy that was in my purse they are the best there
Staff is covid compliant (and very helpful).99% customers were too. This was a very good thing. Some pretty high prices, but some good finds are possible. Generally seemed like the furniture $$βs (which is majority of the store) were about 40%-60% too high. But weβll keep checking from time2time.
People are friendly and helpful. Mr. Howard the manager is an Awesome guy. He is professional, personable, fair, honest and courteous to his customers and quite humorous. He takes time out of his busy schedule to communicate with his customers and I enjoy his hearty laughter π€£, which is contagious. I enjoy going shopping and browsing at Habitat and looking forward to seeing him. Howard is the bomb and makes my visit fun, pleasant, memorable and worthwhile traveling to Vero Beach. Jay is a great employee too, very friendly and helpful too. Howard you are a GREAT man and keep up the Great work. I thank you for being a down to earth π person. Thabks Zella.
Has lots of stuff from couches recliners cabnets dishes etc. Big store.
Great store employees were very nice but I felt the prices were pretty high on a lot of the furniture. I mean I understand they help people own a home but all of,these, items are donated to them. Do they not want a quick turn around so they are always looking fresh with inventory. I live in PSL & our Habitat Stores in PSL, Stuart & Ft Pierce receive just as good or better furniture & more at the stores but I cant remember seeing a Leather & Fabric couch for $2000 that needed a cleaning. They need to check themselves on there pricing.
There are always wonderful surprises to be found at Habitat. Have donated and shopped there for several years. Wonderful people work there.
Organized, store with a large selection of furniture at reasonable prices. Some were good quality antiques....Bathrooms are closed off to the public.
Habitat for Humanity is a great thrift store, and it helps animals:-) who could ask for more
Great store for a very worthy cause.
Awesome store! And you help build houses with your purchases.
Clean, neat and orderly. Love going there
Fantastic furniture, high quality drapes, everything under the π. The prices on high end things was ridiculous, but bargains can be found as they are marked down every 2 weeks. Know the schedule and show up first thing that morning.
Big selection of furniture and household items but very overpriced compared to how it used to be. You can still find some bargains though. Mgmt and staff were very nice and helpful. Only giving 4 stars due to be overpriced.
Clean well organized friendly staff. Wide diversified selection of items ranging from household utensils to furniture to pictures to building materials and appliances. Most items are resonably priced. However some items in the appliances are overpriced particulary considering there is no way to check their operating condition. Their no return/all sales final policy made me leary of purchasing appliances.I will shop there again.
Great place for fixing up your house, kitchen cabinets. Appliances, furniture, Friendly and helpful staff
Friendly service and a lot of products to chose from.
Clean store, good prices, helpful employees.
It was just OK. I find the prices are always high for a second hand store.
Helped and helping my wife in more ways than one,to God be the glory.
I have shopped, donated, and volunteered for habitat for humanity in other areas of Florida. This is the absolutely the worst store I have ever seen. I have tried to donate good or even great items was told today that the 8x10 rug i was donating manager doesnt like wool rugs when I told him it is polyester he said no they would not take it this rug was in a spare bedroom never walked on..money lost for a great cause . I am done with this store!
I frequently drop by this location hoping that the prices will eventually be reasonable. Iβm always disappointed to see that they basically charge retail prices for used and damaged furniture. Associates are unfriendly, especially when you question their pricing practices. Itβs unfortunate to see an organization, which is supposed to do good in our community, take advantage of our communityβs donations. This store does not help families on a budget trying to furnish their home. Iβve visited dozens of other locations, and the pricing has always been fair. This location has always been an outlier and I hope that they get on the same page, as they tarnish the organization as a whole.
Prices are at new retail levels for damaged and dirty furniture. Whoever is pricing items needs to have a reality check. Most of the items are still sitting there after months. Spiders everywhere and thick dust. Most items need to be refinished.
Very friendly and helpful. Large selection!
Always find a little something to buy. Good service π
Ive been calling this facility for several hours with no avail so I drove there and couldnt enter the building cause I didnt have an appointment which was what I was trying to do on the phone. I left a message and hope that they help me.they have been having trouble with phones. Whao you think what a way to run a clinic is!π¬
Iβm a bit irritated that you guys closed off the restrooms like that strictly due to covid. If they were just out of order, I wouldnβt be saying anything. Someone didnβt think that through, wouldnβt you guys prefer customers to wash their hands? At bare minimum, you guys should put a sign on the door that states no public restrooms. Just common courtesy.
Beautiful furniture and lots to choose from
Great set-up, pretty good prices, and we got lucky and went when it was an extra 25% off the whole store!
Selection of nice stuff..... staff was exceptionally nice and cooperative
Great selection.
They are courteous
There was a sofa i wanted to buy the manager would not hold it for one day for me which my son would pick it up on mon i think that was so wrong the store miss that 20000 dollars i couldnt take it the day i would pay for it this causes the stor to lose money and customers
Love the choices, the mission, and the friendly associates.
Short staffed and a lot of self service.
An awesome thrift store for a great cause. A great selection of items that everyone can use. Great service and great prices. They even offer a 10% off discount for Military on Tuesdays. A great and enjoyable place to shop.
Huge number of choices, reasonable prices, and really friendly employees
Most of the staff and volunteers here are very good. I disagree a bit with their pricing though and feel many of their items are priced almost as if they are new. I do frequent it though because occasionally they have some decent construction materials which may be a little over priced but still worth the purchase. The location is very accessible and loading unloading can be easily accomplished.
Some what prici .
Always find what I am looking for at a good price.
Prices are going up. Hard to find a good bargain
Huge selection of furniture from couches to entire kitchen and bedroom sets. If you dont mind buying used things this is a great place to go. From plumbing to electrical. Kitchen cabinets to thrift store finds. Great prices. They sell just about anything you may need for the home. Lots of parking. Great place
This is a large thrift store. Its well stocked with large items like furniture and used appliances. They also have used hardware and many things for doing home remodeling and decorating. They have longer and more convenient hours than most thrifts. They are not cheap but certainly cheaper than buying new. Great book selection, too.
My least favorite resale shop along US1 in Vero. All the merchandise is still in the untouched condition it was when the donator pushed it off the truck; virtually everything needs repair and deep cleaning. Even spider webs still on items displayed on the show room floor. Now, that is not to say you wont find things worth the trip there; but it probably will need scrubbing and some minor repair. Plus, I find the prices to be above bargain level. One Star.
Great cause. I am honored to be help and do my part. I may volunteer in the future when I have a day off..;)
Nice furniture! Also had hurricane shutters! One of the best thrift stores Ive been to..they also have sales! Building supplies were 60 percent off the day I was there..I spent 80 bucks on two doors and a window worth of hurricane shutters...the quote for a professional to fit new shutters was $2000.
Five stars excellent service.ππππ
Awesome Selection
Great place to find matching glasses or dishes to replace the ones you broke. Books galore and muliple chests, sofas and beds. My husband loves the tool section.
Very open and bright store
We bought a few very large things from Vero Beach Habitat for Humanity. We are shall I say a bit long in the tooth so we had them delivered. Two wonderful very patient men showed up and did the impossible. Can you say get a 27 inch washer and dryer though a 27 inch door, YES!!!!! Our many thanks go out to this wonderful crew, Scott and Glen. More dedicated men you shall not meet.
Great place to shop. Always Remember For everything Habitat Restores Sale thats a Roof over someone in need of a Home .Habitat Restore has Great Customers service and large selection from Building Materials to Decorating your entire Home Thank you to all the Volunteers that give there time to this organization .Also the Employees that are always Helpful from carryout to Merchandise the store and the Smiling Cashiers . Had a very pleasant experienceThank you ππππππππππ
Love to walk around and look. Sometimes has some great deals on used items. Sales are easy and money goes to good cause.
Not cheap, not a bargain for donationed stuff, cant say I would shop there again
Amazing place to shop. Has something for everyone. It has high end and low end stuff. And the fact that the money goes to build homes in this community makes it worth it.
People are savages customers and overpriced garbage
I agree with the last review...it appears as though some of the Habitat employees (those responsible for pricing) have taken on the mindset of being a retail consignment store. They compare the item to what it would sell for new or what its listed for on Ebay. Not taking into consideration that most of the items are obsolete, need repair and care or are near the very end of their useful life. That said, MANY of the items are overpriced with little to no room on price adjustments. I am very disappointed. There are plenty of other donation centers to shop...
Sopped at the donation door in back...donated a box full of ceiling light fixtures. Browsed the store, always an interesting trip. Thanks
This store has a large selection of goods. Weather youre looking for new, used, standard or unique - this store will have it.My only complaint is that since theyve enlarged the store/redecorated the prices on the items have gone up. Because of this - I dont frequent the store as often.Whatever you expect for a HFH store, youll find it here.
I think things are very pricey there and the staff had a matter of fact attitude. No negotiations this is donated goods for the greater cause of our community. If someone doesnt have the money to afford the price the place is asking they should negotiate to help that person and still bring in some money. I do not understand the mentality of the staff there. This was a conversation I overheard not directly involved. I found it a little disheartening. Keeping in mind that this is not a retail store rather a Habitat for Humanity or is it.
This store is amazing in the selection and quality of available items. And the money all goes to a good cause. Win Win.
Great place always find something interesting, all my furniture is from here. I like just going in every once in a while and see what i can find.
This place was busy, had many items.
Extremely overpriced garbage that I wouldnt even pick up off of the side of the road. 1500 dollars for a used refrigerator you have got to be kidding me. Over half of their goods are either damaged or broken. So ridiculously high priced that no poor family could ever dream of furnishing their house with anything from here. Just a bunch of con artist ripping off the public. They should be ashamed of themselves. Do not support these scumbags shop elsewhere.
Always friendly and helpful. Love it here and find fabulous items @ great prices.
Couldnt find any needle nose pliers.
Love it, always neat
Well organized, well lit and a good selection of household goods and building materials. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
It is excellent, fair prices and a wonderful staff. It is important to remember a lot of staff are volunteers
It was very nice. They all kinds of good stuff.
Very friendly and helpful employees. Really good deals every once in a while. A must stop before you buy new.
It has been our pleasure appraising both motor vehicles and personal property being donated to Habitat for Humanity of Indian River County. Thank you for recommending The St. Lucie Appraisal Company to prepare appraisals and IRS documents for your clients.
Not bad but the items are very pricey
We have been coming here for the past three years. Over the last year and especially after the renovation, quality of items has dropped and prices have literally skyrocketed. $1300 for a bed?!?! Seriously??? This place used to be a gem for those with a low budget in need of quality furniture and home goods. Im not sure what changed but its truly a shame.
Prices are decent. Large selection. Fun place to visit.
I have found many pieces of furniture in this store for family and friends. Sometimes the furniture has been from remodels of hotels like the Ritz- Carlton. The only downside is they charge way to much for deliveries- but i did find a local delivery service on Craigslist that was able to help out when I bought furniture.
Have raised pricing. Very high for used and many times damaged furniture.
All volunteers are very nice and helpful. I was sorpresa to found so many good thinks, beautiful pictures frames.
Fantastic organization, find everything easily. Today 50% off hurricane shutters and window treatments, 25% off, special sections, 10% senior discount, and a 20% discount ....if you contribute $10 top three scholarship fund.
Very good location.. They have interesting items and a good section on a variety of things..
Excellent selection, clean store, and pretty decent prices. If you need to do some Home Renovations, I would suggest checking here before you go to another place. They have a large selection of furniture.
Never know what you can find here if you need something they probably have it plus its for a good cause
You need to change your hours on website because I came here ar 9am and its closed and door says 10am
A great place. You can find all kinds of things at great prices
Good finds and prices, staff kind and helpful!
Pretty much had everything from sinks to furnitureDoors bedroom setsGood prices too.
Great place to find that hard item you cant find anywhere else
My store.
I have bought many items from small to big and I always get a great price and the volunteers are always polite and extremely helpful.
Stopped in today for the first time since moving to Vero. Large, clean store with helpful volunteers and some terrific merchandise. There is a nice sized library section!
Love shopping at their Restore store. Prices are good and the variety is great.
