I ordered 4 tacos at the food truck. I was told 20-30 min wait. After 40 minutes, I asked when I could expect my food. They told me they were very busy and they were doing the best they can. I said thats fine, I just wanted to know when to expect my food. The lady said “I already told you, it would be 20-30 minutes!”. I said “I know, it’s been 40 minutes.” She told me I had not been waiting that long and I had to wait my turn. I got out my receipt to prove I had been waiting that long. Then, they could not find the ticket and said I must have given them a different name. Nope, my name was correct on the receipt. After another 5 minutes they gave me my food and did not apologize for making me wait or accusing me of lying.Oh, and the tacos sucked too. Dry and tasteless.

Awesome little taco shop on the beach with very fresh & delicious food and a fun atmosphere. The pick up window is a cute little rustic yellow pick up truck, they actually hand you the food out of the truck window. Its tiny on the inside but has a really nice outdoor seating area.. We ate at a table tucked off by itself under the trees.. i had the mahi bowl which was very fresh and so yummy. My daughter got the carnitas bowl that she really loved. We shared the chips & salsa. Then we both got the frozen coffee that was very creamy & so delicious. The place was very clean and staff were all super friendly and seemed to be enjoying their job.The key lime pie in refrigerator looked pretty good, we will have to try that next visit. We drove an hour to try this place...no regrets...will definitely be coming back soon

Great food - when they get your order right. They literally do not understand what “no cheese” means. Every. Single. Time. I order it with no cheese (I have a dairy allergy) and every single time it comes with cheese. Literally at least 6 times now. Yes, they will remake your order, but after the insanely long wait time the last thing I want is to wait again for them to get it right. Today my dad ordered and brought it home for me, he was explicit about there not being cheese on my tacos when he ordered, lo and behold he brings it to me and it is covered in cheese. Now Im 15 minutes away and have zero desire to make the trip back to get the order right. I dont understand why the concept of a person not wanting cheese on their taco is so complicated for this establishment. Its a bummer because I do like it here, but it is not worth it for me anymore.

Run, don’t walk here if you’re visiting Vero Beach. This was the best meal we had while here, hands down. The margaritas were amazing - tart, sweet and almost creamy in some way. They have proper queso and guac, and the chips were outstanding. The carnitas and chicken tacos were moist and flavorful. The orange and vanilla swirl ice cream were a delicious way to end the meal. And the customer service was delightful - super-friendly, charming and warm.

I am a Vero local and this place is hands down the best Mexican food on the island and probably in all of Vero. I eat here all the time. My only beef: small napkins. Please get some decent sized napkins. And I also hate being guilted into tipping every time I use my card. “Just answer a couple of questions and you’re all set”. I tip for table service, Not for just taking my order. Now get off my lawn and go have some tacos!

Holy moly this place is good. Coming from California, I expect to be disappointed by most tacos places in Florida — but not Sid’s. My husband and I ate here 4 times while on vacation in Vero Beach. ***The reason for the three stars; There was very little chicken on the chicken quesadilla. There is very very little beef brisket in the empanada. The Mexican street corn was a very small portion.*That was the bad, but the good things were; The flavor was amazing. The service was amazing. For being a small restaurant it was well themed.*My wife and I found this restaurant we were excited to try it. Our server said that the portions are very big. As you can see by the pictures the empanada is no bigger than my fist and probably half as thick. Portion sizes were average but they really did skimp on the meat. It’s a shame because everything was so flavorful. As you can see by the menu – if you zoom in -there is a decent selection for choices. The thing that makes this restaurant nice is that countryside citrus is in the same space and it is great to grab for dessert afterward. If you’re looking for great taste – this is your place. If you are looking for value… Maybe in the future they will add more protein to their dishes to make it more worthwhile.

I really wanted to like this place but we waited 30 minutes for 4 tacos. They came out cold, and tasted mediocre. During that time 2 other people cancelled their orders because of the wait, they didn’t seem that busy...just very disorganized. My wife and I have nothing good to say about this place. First, the place closes at 8PM. We drove 2 hours to Vero Beach and got there at around 7:30PM. By the time we checked in at our hotel and got to this place it was 8:05 PM and they were already close. Despite that we still wanted to try it for breakfast the next day. I called them early the next day and placed our order for 2 Salads, they took our credit card over the phone and charged it right away. The lady said it would take about ten minute so my wife went to pick up the order and when she got there he was told they were not making salads that day. Not only that but the staff was extremely rude. She was ignored by the ladies in front and when my wife asked for her credit they did not even know how to do that. I am very sorry to say that we will not give this place another chance and needless to say wont be recommending it to anyone.

I never write restaurant reviews, but my experience was SO bad that I needed to let people know. The empanadas were inedible, as were the veggie tacos. I threw everything in the trash (after waiting far too long for tacos). The young lady at the counter indicated that I was not the first to complain that day and while I was waiting to order, she was handling a complaint on the phone. If you have had good tacos, please do not expect good tacos here. I dont say this lightly, but they either need different cooks, or they need to try a new food concept. It was BAD.

Stopped here even after reading about the small portion sizes as I was craving tacos. The tacos I had were of a normal size. I don’t think I’ve had much bigger elsewhere. I had the street corn appetizer, as well. That was small, didn’t seem like a full cob of corn. The food was all very tasty: prepared well and presented attractively. The prices are on the high side though. I don’t they think they should be expected to charge $2 a taco since the quality is definitely good and it’s obvious they use good ingredients. $4 is a bit high though. $3-$3.50 would be a sweet spot if they could figure out how to make that work. If you are customer here expecting $2 tacos though you need to have a lower quality expectations and go further from the ocean!I also had a margarita and it was tasty. 2 tacos, street corn app and margarita for $26. Not too bad. I wish them luck!

Very much agree with Geoff Moores recent review. The decor, service, outdoor seating, food selection, flavors, and salsas are great. The biggest problem is that the portions are much too small for the price, maybe half of what Id expect. In particular, the bowl, presented as a full meal, was like a snack, and had very little meat. Thats why I knocked it down 2 stars, since while everything else is good, you come to a restaurant primarily to eat.

Very good food, with a few imperfections.Tacos come in corn tortillas that have been grilled to the point of getting somewhat stiff and chewy, which detracts from the overall taco experience compared to fresh tortillas that are warmed but still soft.Tortilla chips are tasty, but quite greasy, which might be a plus for some folks, but I find to be unnecessary.Street corn has a non-traditional heavy smoky flavor thats not bad, but not as good as the traditional comforting blend of tangy/cheesy/spicy.Carne asada, carnitas, guac all very tasty. Salsas also quite good, especially the roja. The memorably excellent item here? Orange soft serve ice cream - perfect soft serve texture, sweet/creamy/refreshing orange creamsicle flavor.
