Great bagels! Crispy, not doughy and perfect size. Excellent everything cream cheese. Very fresh. Iced coffees could have been a little stronger. They should make coffee ice cubes. Great spot!

Best Bagels in New Jersey. Always fresh. The owners are very nice and welcoming. The only downside is because they are so good, there is always a line. Good things come to those who wait.

Bagels are fine. Parking is very hard.One time followed the owner driving through Verona. He was going about 50-55 mph on the side streets. Quite ridiculous.

I am a long time customer who very much enjoys the quality of food offered by this establishment. In fact, food wise this business deserves five stars.Unfortunately, what I find particularly disturbing is the lack of enforcement over COVID 19 occupancy rules. There are 2 signs on the door clearly visible to anyone entering the premises: one saying a limit of 3 to 4 customers at a time, and the second - wear a mask. Regrettably, the owner does not enforce the limit rule. While there is a line of customers outside patiently waiting - there are instances where up to 8 customers crowd inside the store. Thus, breaking rule number 1( limit of 3 to 4 customers), and making social distancing impossible given the tight quarters of this business.I can appreciate the owner is just trying to make a living. I along with everyone else is completely supportive of this through our loyal patronage through the years. However, the owner must recognize that his customers and employees are also trying to survive this pandemic. Please support us in this endeavor by enforcing the limit rules posted on your door. Together - we can get through this!

Amazing everything bagels, Im so happy I stopped in today to try them. Super fresh and soft. The toppings were the perfect amount nothing skimpy about it. Added some of there scallion cream cheese lightly toasted and I was blown away. Also got a fresh cup of that pumpkin coffee too. Worth it!

I’m trying to order on internet, they offer iced coffee for lg $3.50, am iced coffee for $2.55, and NO option for hot coffee, large or small. I called the store who first argued with me that there was an option (there’s not), then told me to order through a different app (don’t have it, don’t want it). Their leg coffee (hot) is $2.25. They told me to order the iced coffee which is $1.25 more. When I pointed this out, they said order the small iced, which is, albeit less significant, yet still more. Rather than using an item that is the same price (bagel w butter is the same) they insisted on debating with a paying customer to the point that I decided I can spend my money elsewhere for the same thing.

Been getting bagels there for my entire life. Over 25 years and I cannot recommend this place enough. Best bagels in the world! Since moving I have a friend mail me a dozen every once and awhile!

Got some bagel breakfast sandwiches (TEC with SPK) and was very surprised, and happy, with the amount of ham they give you (I ordered mine with an extra egg). The sandwich tasted delicious but I wish that the bagel was softer. The outside layer was a bit tough and rubbery. I caught myself really pulling apart the bagel with my teeth but that still didnt take away from the awesome flavor. Staff was also very polite during the rush of customers coming in and out.

The food is not bad, but they are late by 20-25 min every single time I order ahead. It completely defeats the purpose. The only reason I order from them is because they are right next to the best coffee place in town.

I wished they actually had the bagels they have labeled on their website (Black Russian, poppy seed, pumpernickel etc.) as they never seem to have those flavors. Overall however, they make amazing bacon egg and cheese, Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwiches and other delicious cold cut sandwiches. Good local place in Verona!

Was at Verona HS for cheer comp, googled bagels near me, and this place was closest. Awesome spot, bagels, wraps, sandwiches, lots of spreads, and bagels were great!

Best bagels in NJ! I have been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Their veggie cream cheese is perfect. Besides having the best bagels, they have fantastic coffee… hot/cold, decaf or regular…. I always wonder what do they do to it that is has such good flavor? WHAT’s your secret ingredient?

Grew up on these bagels, its a staple in Verona, always been the best around and they still are. Pick your time right or youll be waiting outside. Only negative here is you come in before 7am on a weekday you run the risk of getting one of yesterdays bagels which are rock hard. Has happened many times. When I come on the weekends, Ive always had fresh bagels and its even better if they are still hot.

If the world was going to end in 5 minutes, I would recommend spending it on line at this bagel shop. They take forever. Perhaps having a separate line on Bagel Fridays so people can just pick up their orders. Yes, their bagels are very good.

Always loved this place..it was my go to spot after the park when my daughter was a baby and she requests these bagels every weekend . Im writing this review because I accidentally ordered through uber eats app for pick up to the wrong store! Not sure why uber eats defaulted me to the farther location but anyway, the store manager (or owner?) made my bagel sandwiches right there and didnt charge me. I was so relieved and thankful!

Super convenient location for the neighborhood, great selection, but its hard to get in and out (especially on the weekend), and its a little bit pricey.Edit: the owners cared enough to reply - everyone in here is really nice, and the service is great. Im bumping up by a star for this reason, and Ill probably be back next weekend.

I use to love this place but they are only getting 3 stars from me because the last 3 times I came the bagels I order Super cinnamon, everything bagel, honey raisin and cinnamon raisin were HARD!!!! And if you know super cinnamon is only ready after 8 or 9 you should post that

Great, freshly baked bagels

I dont go here often, I only go when I cant get to my usual bagel place. The staff is painfully slow. They have all age groups working behind the counter. They have no system to help customers. Its easier to get a drink at a trendy bar five rows deep than to get asked if you are bring helped at Bagelwich. Bagels are fairly priced and taste okay.

In these crazy times that we are all living in, it’s nice to know that there are still kind people out there willing to go above and beyond. This was my experience with the good people at Baglewich. A good friend of mine was hosting a Zoom Shiva (for his dad who we lost to COVID). I wanted to order some food for his family, in particular some bagels, cream cheese spread and nova. I live in NY. He lives in NJ. So I searched for places that were close to his residence. Most businesses told me that they were closing soon/early and couldn’t take my order or didn’t do deliveries. Baglewich Bagel Bakery (Verona location) was actually one of the places that told me they were closing soon also, but the difference was, that they were kind and understanding of the circumstances and were willing to try to work something out with me when I told them I was trying to send food to my friend for his family’s Shiva. They helped me with a few menu questions and said I could still order, but they do their deliveries through Door Dash. So, I tried to order through Door Dash, but the DoorDash app would not allow me to place my order for delivery today (only for tomorrow). I called Bagelwich back, and spoke with the owner, Frank, who tried to help me troubleshoot the app so I could get the order in. After several failed attempts, the owner offered to do the delivery himself on his way home. He could have told me to call tomorrow or just apologized that Doordash couldn’t make the delivery, but instead he made the delivery himself. My wife and I are so appreciative of his (and his wife, who was also helping us) kindness! My friend told me the food was super delicious and hit the spot! Thank you Bagelwich!!!

I had a good omelette and coffee today. The township of Verona mailed me a $10 voucher because I just moved to town. I ordered an omelette for $8 and a large coffee. Some how the bill came to $17 because of adding sausage and cheese? I ended up paying $7 out of pocket. $17 is a little steep for an omelette and coffee.

Dont go here after 12 the food quality is sub par. Whoevers making the sandwiches in the back obviously doesnt know how to cook bacon or serve hot food. Giving it two stars is a kindness.

A staple in my weekly schedule. Bagel Sunday is a must for my family. Additionally, their sandwich selection is vast! Last, their staff is friendly. It can get busy but they move you through quickly.

Great experience! I needed 7 dozen bagels for my staff in an hour and a half- they did it! The bagels were fresh and were devoured happily by hungry mouths. I have a bagel place near my home but they never answered the phone- it was their loss and this is now my new spot.

Sunday mornings are brutal - so busy but worth the walk or drive. If you see people walking back a block, this is why. The bagels are made on the hour and that is about how long they last. The cashier will make you smile or laugh and the staff is friendly. Big selection! Best sesame bagels I have found! Just make sure you toast very brown! :-)

I took my daughter there to get bagels for lunch. I ordered a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese for my daughter and a sesame bagel for myself. Instead I got a plain bagel with salmon and cream cheese and a everything bagel. My daughter is allergic to fish. I complained to the store and the manager did nothing to fix the situation! I will never go there again!
