Our extensive research for an e-bike lead us to Voltaire Cycles in Verona. We made the trip on a Saturday to find the shop closed. A phone call to the number on the door led us to Dennis…”I’m delivering a bike, “I’ll be back in the shop in about (20) minutes”. It was worth the wait. Dennis was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Once I made my clear my objectives for an e-bike, he led me to a Magnum Navigator. After a test ride to the nearby park, I was sold. Dennis was kind enough to personally deliver the bike to my home a few days later. Keep in mind, you won’t walk into a store with extensive inventory to choose from. E bikes are a hot commodity and that’s what makes Dennis’s product knowledge all the more helpful when getting you onto the right bike.
I went to Voltaire cycles of Verona to get a e-bike conversion kit installed on my full suspension mountain bike. Upon arrival I was greeted by Dennis (courteous, friendly and professional) he was interested in what I wanted done and started working on it right away. A few days latter I went to pick-up my bike and I was very happy. I just purchased my first ebike. After a set of great instructions and helpful hints I was taken for a test ride through some back roads of Verona. Up hills and down. The bike (a Magnum Cosmopolitan) was exactly what I needed at an affordable price.Dennis was my sales person who was sure to cover all the intro info I needed and helped with the accessories to ensure my safety and comfort.Endless thanks Voltaire and Dennis!
Limited supply but only because of how insanely popular eBikes are right now. The staff was super friendly and incredibly helpful.I made my purchase solely on being able to test a few bikes right outside the store and riding to a nearby park. Definitely give these guys business, they were super professional, helpful and knowledgeable.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I have always been greeted by Nick, he is great at showing me different options to enhance the performance of my ebike. The service technician Denis is great on making my bike run smooth. I am impressed by the service.
Edit: 07/02/2021Never buy from here it is a complete scam, I have been waiting for the order I made for 2 months and I have not even received a response, I really feel state, your customer service is the worst there is, I will have to report it to my Bank to receive a Refund .. Be serious and stop scamming people..I really do not know if I have been scammed or if I am still going to receive my articles, I have placed an order 22 days ago and I do not receive a notification of delivery or a response to the pile of emails that I have left, I still have no hope of receiving my articles But how much longer do I have to wait ???
I purchased a digital console here for my e bike. I used it 2 times and now it doesnt work. I offered to return it for a replacement. They told me they cant get it anymore because the company is out of business. No offer to refund all or any of my money!! Bad customer service!!!
(EDIT 6/1/21, it’s been 2 months since I’ve ordered these items and I still can’t use them, they did finally respond after making this bad review and said they’d send the clamp for the arms. When the time came that I got my delivery confirmation it was nowhere to be found, I looked closer and noticed they sent it to someone in Florida. The last contact ive had from them was over a month ago saying they’ll send it to me once they receive it from the guy in Florida. They were never rude or anything, quite nice actually, but the level of customer service needed to operate online is just not there. They offered me a 15% coupon off any item for my trouble.....which I’m sure seems generous to them but why in the world would I ever buy anything more until this issue is resolved? They wanted me to send back the T-handle but would be unable to send me the one I ordered, they also agreed to refund me fully if I chose to send the items back. Frankly I don’t trust that they are organized enough to properly refund me in a timely manner and I feared being out $235 and no product in my hands to show for it.I ended up contacting T-Cycle directly and they kindly let me purchase the missing items separately costing me an extra $75 to finally have all the items that should’ve been sent to me by Voltaire. Let this be a warning to other online shoppers, if you need help with an issue, the customer service is just not there.)ORIGINAL REVIEW:I ordered some accessories for my girlfriends Catrike almost a month ago now, and both items are completely useless. I ordered the assist handles so she can get in and out easier after her back surgery, the packaging was missing one of the clamps before it shipped, it was ripped at the seems. (The shipping packaging was not damaged). How someone did not catch this I have no idea. On top of that I ordered an accessory mount kit that is supposed to include a 4x5” t-handle and a special clamp to clamp on to the shifter handle. All I received was a 5x9” t-handle, no clamp. Completely useless. So now I’m left with $235 worth of useless parts. I emailed them and used their support ticket system on their website and tried calling, no response. It’s been over two weeks now since I’ve emailed and filled out the support form for this issue. Absolutely unacceptable! now I have to order the missing pieces from somewhere else and spend even more money just to be able to use the kits I bought.
I got my ebike from them. They are great. Great service, friendly stuff. They communicate with customers in a professional manner. They have a huge selection of ebikes, bikes, scooters, mopeds at their store. They even let you test drive and offer good discounts.
Dont buy from this place they will lie and scam you to make a sale. They didnt put on all the right manufacture parts for my Bintelli electric bike and its costing me almost five Bills to get it fix. We contacted Bintelli customers services and they confirmed that the parts on my bike are not theirs. Long story short they lied to make the sale and cheated us on the bike. Clowns!!! Missed matched rims not the right tires. The Quest comes with white wall lettering, they gave us some cheap Chinese tires, wrong derailleur, I dont even know if the motor is right since it sits on some funky wheel. And they claim to be bike mechanics laughable.

I was looking for tires for my electrical bike and I went to many bike stores, but had no luck finding the tires. I ended up at Voltaire Cycles of Verona (I previously had purchased a bike here in the past) and was helped by Nick. I cannot begin to express how grateful and appreciative I was for the superb customer service he gave me. He went above and beyond any customer service I have ever encountered. He checked the store and said they didn’t have them in stock.He didn’t just brush me off and send me on my way, but instead, he took my contact information and said he would do some research and try his best to find the tires for me. Although in the end, he could not find the tires at his store or their warehouse. He ended up finding them elsewhere and was not hesitant to give me the information. I am truly amazed at his dedication to the customer. He truly is an asset to store. Nick is AMAZING! If you ever come here and need any help, DEFINITELY ask for Nick!!!

TerraTrike Owners group suggested to get a Catrike Flag Mount to solve a flag mount issue I was having. Searched online and Voltaire of NJ popped up as a most prominent business. Price seemed right, so ordered a pair.Ordered on the 20th, was shipped on the 23rd. No tracking number was provided. However, the mounts arrived in a thin envelope yesterday.I thank Nick, Denis and KJ for their upmost support via email. I was impatient.Had survived Covid Pneumonia last Christmas and it had left me in bad shape. Still having some issues. Bought a Wike Trailer (to carry an oxygen tank). Finally got to ride once last week.Do not like a fishing-pole position for a flag (comes out the seat end). As the seat lays back, so would the flag... and I prefer my main near flag more vertical for attracting attention. Needed an flag mount option for a TerraTrike Rover using a Tern bicycles rack. Hopefully this will do the trick!! If not, there is T-Cycles $40 mount ... yikes!Snail Mail (USPS) is back to slow shipping unless it is junk mail... took 2 1/2 weeks to arrive
I needed to have a flat tire on a new EBike fixed. When I got there, Denis came out to help me bring the bike in. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I was planning on leaving the bike, but he told me if I didn’t mind waiting a little, he would take care of it right away.I am extremely happy with Voltaire Cycles and the three gentleman that we talked to there: Nick, Justin and Denis!! Meeting Mark was so great! He was friendly and knowledgeable and patient. He took me on a test ride with a few bikes, explained all the functions and we decided on the best bike for me. The store itself is phenomenal! What an amazing variety of bikes! Denis Grishin is awesome! He is a very professional, knowledgeable, and experienced mechanic. He fixed my issue promptly. This was a problem other mechanics could not figure out. Very nice guy and highly recommended!
I ordered a B&H charger from them, they emailed me back that they can no longer get B & H parts but mentioned nothing about refunding my money which they have still not done & the owner Nick has a poor attitude about it instead of being apologetic. Not the way to do business Nick. I will never buy from you again!!
Best customer service ever .Nick helped me from my first test ride all the way through to ordering the exact bike I wanted and gave me updates via the phone on when my bike was arriving. I had the best experience here and feel I got an amazing bike at an amazing price . My boyfriend can’t wait to get one from this shop soon too! 10/10 would highly recommend.
Nice store with great service. I ordered a bike from their website and it arrived within a week. Unfortunately, it was damaged during shipping. I emailed the shop and Justin responded almost instantly to help. After sending some pics, the shop agreed to refund me completely, no hassle. I returned the bike to the shop and decided to purchase a different model. Justin got me all set up, went over the features, gave me some tips and loaded it into my car. He also helped me the next day with a seat adjustment. They are nice guys- super helpful and great customer service attitudes We’re going to purchase one more EBike from them once we decide on a model.
I ordered a part online 22 days ago. Have tried several times to connect with several methods, but nothing. I got a bit more aggressive today with my search to find some answers. I was then issued a refund with no explanation as to what happened.I manage a bike shop and have for over 25 years. I have never seen so many 1 star reviews for the same reason.We are in a pandemic, however, most bike shops have seen a huge increase in business which equals an increase in sales and profit. HIRE ANOTHER PERSON OR 3!! You should be able to fix this problem of selling things that you dont have, not connecting with customers when you realize you dont have it, and doing your best to communicate with customers.I would like to see a response to this review without excuses.
I just picked up my bike and rack from Voltaire today🤗. From the time I dropped the bike off to the time I picked it up the staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I am a brand new bike rider starting with a used bike. Dennis was very honest with me about the condition of the bike and gave me choices that allowed me to refurbish it for safe use at a modest cost. He also taught me how to use the rack which I had no idea about. I will be back to purchase a new bike in the future after learning on the used one first.
I recently bought a B&H Easy Motion e-mountain bike from Electric Spokes.This is a great place to deal with and they have very reasonable prices. The store has a great selection and Derek is genuinely interested in the customers. The bike has been a blast. This is my first e-bike, but I am sold on the idea. You dont necessarily get less exercise, but you do definitely cover more ground. I highly recommend this store.
Great experience at Electric Spokes!I needed a recumbent trike due 2 knee replacements.Electric Spokes had a great selection and was the only bike storethat would order the bike for me, and, let me try it out beforemaking purchase.I needed that accommodation as my knees don t bend enough for a full turn on a standard bike.Derek was amazing, and went above and beyond, finding and ordering special parts for me sothat I could ride comfortably .We returned to the shop several times so that Derek could keep tweaking the bike for my needs.We finalized bike purchase yesterday.I am so comfortable on this trike, and am so grateful to Derek for making it fit me perfectly.A great big thank you to Derek, Emilio, (who helped us on our first visit at the shop), and all of theStaff at Electric Spokes. Just an awesome, well attuned, informed team there. Although I had to volley the cool technical salesman there (Justin) between my questions and my 6 year olds curiosities....he did quite well! Im going again, bringing an old bike to fix and probably buying a new one as well - never saw a place with such a variety both in bikes and add-ons!

Justin took the time to find out what I wanted in an electric bike, and did not try to up sell me on a higher priced bike I didn’t need. Justin contacted me as soon as they had a bike in stock that fitted my needs, and he carefully explained all of the features of my new e-bike.

My wife and I visited Electric spokes this Wednesday Nov 4. Let me begin by saying how completely dissatisfactory the customer service of this establishment was. My wife and I were interested in purchasing a Yamaha YDX E b. I inquired with one of the staff, whom hastily dismissed me. Saying that the bike would be near impossible to purchase, until sometime in 2021. He did not offer me any alternative options, and went back to the computer. I did try to call the store several times, but the number was not in service. I drove all the way from Matawan, in Monmouth county for no reason. Absolute waste of time, I would not recommend patronizing this store to anyone!

I purchased a bike online with no issues, and Derek was extremely helpful . I sent over an e-mail regarding a bicycle seat, and he responded promptly. Derek provided excellent customer service, and that means a lot to me. I will definitely purchase from them in the future. As a matter of fact, I just purchased a seat. I live in NC and Ive could have bought a bike and accessories here, but I chose a shop in NJ. Awesome!!!! A++++ in my book!! Go Derek!!
Just came by with my 6 yr old daughters bike. She has a flat. The guy that came out to help me said it’s super easy to fix but asked his manager and then came back and said no, they absolutely do not have the time to fit it. He offered to take my number.It probably took longer for that whole thing to happen than to fix the flat...Never again.I’m a huge advocate for small businesses but I guess my need wasn’t expensive enough for their them.Shame on them.

I am changing this to reflect a correction to the problem.They got in touch with me and are going to correct it.The problem was with who sent it to them with missing parts, I am not the only person this happened to. I was happy with how quickly I did receive it and the packaging of the two rear racks.Ordered 2 trike rear racks. They came fast and packed really well happy about that. The reason I’m giving a one star is, I emailed 3 times because not all of the parts were included. I also asked for some directions as to how does it go on or at least give me a clue. Nothing, I had to spend some time on the Internet to get something of a clue. I got it and had to run out for parts.I emailed them asking to have parts sent so I could finish putting them on. Both racks were missing parts like screws, washers and clamps. I gave them the list of what was missing and how many. To date I have Heard nothing back from them as to check to make sure the parts numbers were the right amount or hey sorry that happened we are getting the parts and instructions out to you right away. They are in NJ I’m in PA not far for an email or a phone call or sending parts. I wouldn’t email saying I’m missing parts if I wasn’t. I was and needed parts so I had to go and get parts on my own and at a cost to me when I shouldn’t need to.I know this virus is messing things up but the message on the site said someone will get in touch with you in a day or two, but that hadn’t happened in over a week and with 3 sent. It isn’t that hard to read an email write one saying sorry don’t know what happened but parts are on the way thanks for the order hope this takes care of things, also if parts like the clamps are not included say so on the website and also put on the site directions to how to put it on the bike and just send the parts that are to be with the rack like screws and washers not hard at all, people would understand then that way they know they need to get clamps.
Ive tried reaching out to them about an order via email and phone and have not heard back from them yet. They are impossible to get a hold of. Their website doesnt display any info about scheduling an appointment for a call... Im not in town and ordered something through the site and just wanted to know if it is getting processed after two weeks of radio silence.
I know Danny for many years and I work for UPS. And whenever I needed service for my bike, Danny is always the guy who always willing to help me any anything I need.
Was recommended to stop in here from friends. Went in the shop in Verona and was floored. Derek walked me around the shop, his knowledge and excitement is infectious. I instantly went home, and brought back my son. Derek lead both of us on a ride, and really showed my son and I where a pair of fat tires can go. ( Anywhere ) It was an exhilarating experience. Now, with some experience under our belts, we were able to find the right bike AND set it up custom just for my son, right in the shop. We will definitely be coming back to Electric Spokes, for many, many more adventures!
Dennis is incredible and a huge asset to this store! He took time to personally deliver our bikes and come to our home and then explain how to use our new bikes he’s an absolute pleasure, kind, patient, extremely knowledgeable and a true bike enthusiast and expert.

My electric bike has opened up a whole new mode of transportation for me. I have a 7 mile commute and hardly ever use my car. My bike has over $4,000 miles on it, and every mile has been fun. Even headwinds dont get me down. Derek and associates have been helpful finding parts and giving me advice.
First I want to say thank you and mahalo. I live in Hawaii and getting parts for my evolve can be challenging. I ordered some parts and during covid companys and Bussiness are really stress. I recently ordered some parts because they had a some parts not even in the evolve site. And they were fully stocked. I was missing and got some wrong parts. But this is when u know the company takes pride in there shop. Justin emailed me and apologize which it was noones fault things happen and covid is ruff. He sent out my parts and even replaced it. Hands down this right here now made me loyal shopping with them. I chose to purchas a helmet from them online versus getting it from a big corporation. After seven days of taking my money, they send me an email saying that they are now sold out. Of course, now so is REI. Unfortunately, it was a limited edition so they literally made it impossible for me to get that helmet now. Definitely do not buy online from them if you actually want the product. Clearly, online customers are meaningless to them.
We ordered a Yamaha electric mountain bike and had it delivered to California. Even though we live cross country, Electric Spokes had the best deal...over $2000 cheaper than anywhere nearby!We loave the bike! Derek was always on top of email correspondence....and we emailed quite a bit after the bike initially sold out and we had to wait for the next shipment to the store.
I had an issue with the boom & chain on my trike & expected to wait a few weeks for the service......I was extremely pleased when Dennis, the tech took care of my repairs immediately !!!.....about an hour later, I left with a big smile on my face !!! Super service !!! Thank you !!!

I purchased a set of wheels Abec11 for my evolve gtr bamboo and paid online. I received a refund however the refund was NOT the full amount. Prior, I wasn’t given a notice as to why they cancelled the order. They just arbitrarily took my money without rhyme or reason. I followed up with an email but did not receive a response. I’ve since created a complaint via PayPal and now warning folks on this platform to refrain from doing business with scammers. Buyer beware!
Frig-gin AWESOME shop! Mark and Jay were unbelievably patient and super knowledgeable. I learned more about e-bikes, and the industry in the time I was there than any book or video could teach me. Fantastic selection of e-bikes. I was amazed at the power and efficiency of these motors.
I drove almost 2 hours there yesterday to look at a couple of specific bikes. The 3 guys there were super helpful and knowledgable. They went out of their way to let me demo 3 bikes and spent over 2 hours with me. I didnt purchase a bike (yet) since Im still undecided but getting to demo these bikes helped a lot. If I decide to buy a bike I wouldnt hesitate to buy from here!My one small quip to the owner... I almost didnt visit the store just because of the phone system. You cant talk to someone and can only leave a vm or email. I wanted to make sure the bike I was interested in was still on the floor before driving all that way. Thankfully it was. This almost turned me completely off from this store but Im glad it didnt deter me.
So far the jury is still out for me on this company.The drama started yesterday after I ordered the boosted rev scooter from their website.They are a small company, offer Affirm financing, and as of today at 11:23 am est time, the description states for a limited time,,we offer free shipping +choice of ABUS or THOUSAND helmet. Great! I was thrilled with the extra options so I purchased the scooter.I was charged $20.27 for priority mail which I was fine with but a few hrs after the purchase I was informed that when I went to check out they were in the middle of updating their boosted rev inventory and shipping policy so I wasnt charged the correct shipping which was $65 which included mandatory hazmat certification. I sent them an email about the promotion and tried to call them with no luck.I also received an email this morning asking me if it was possible that I had visited the website last November in which that promotion had been offered.I sent him and the owner later a few screenshots with the promotion still displayed.The clerk offered me a coupon for 20% off a helmet.Later I received an email from one of the owners thanking me for my purchase, We work hard to make our customers happy, so if you have any feedback, or want to say hi, please reply to this email.Wed love to hear from you!.Not only did I reply but sent a pic of my ipad displaying their current promotion.I havent heard a word from them.Its disappointing, to say the least that they are not honoring their promotion.I did try to reach out to them several times by phone with no luck but they were quick to reply when they needed more money for shipping.Im excited to get the scooter and will update my review if anything changes.
My boyfriend and I traveled to ESC to test out electric boards before our big move cross-country. The whole team were extremely helpful! They’ve been the nicest dealers we’ve dealt with, and will definitely be buying our boards from them when the time comes. The things they weren’t educated on, they humbly said they didn’t know the answer and immediately looked up the answers for us... even watched some videos with us! Great customer service. We were also very impressed with their branding and stores set up overall.
E.S is the coolest shop I just bought a bike. The thing that they have are high quality and last along time.the bikes are so fun to ride and look so good. Every product at the shop is good nice and beautiful. All The Accessories are very nice and convenient. Purchased a Bulls Encore EVO Di2 bike for $7000 plus. Received it ok. They had assembled it because they are required and then disassembled and packaged it to ship to me. Good package job except the way they tied off the handlebars, ruined the dropper post cable. 4 hour job to pull the motor to replace housing and cable for dropper.Then, there was a problem with the battery charger. I spoke to someone 3 times and was advised I would need to talk to a specific person who never returned my call or handled the problem.Only saving grace is I contacted Bulls USA directly and they assisted me. Great people at Bulls.Find someone else to buy from if you want competent assistance in the event of a problem.
I recently purchased a bike for myself from Electric Spokes and I can proudly say that I was more than pleased. Not only was the service fast and easy, but both Mark and Derek, the shop owners, were also very amiable and cordial to my family and I. This shop seems to truly have set the bar for making sure that every customer leaves with a smile! My father bought a Mangnum E-bike from this store today and we were amazed at the knowledge and integrity of the salesperson, Joe, whom assisted us! He knows these bikes inside and out. He gave deep technical insight about each bike and honestly guided us to make a great choice. Purchased an E-motion bike for my wife from electric spokes. The experience was great. She had never ridden one before so was apprehensive. Mike took both of us out on a test ride around the hills of Verona, she was instantly sold. We placed an order for the newer higher powered model, received it in a couple weeks. Now she effortlessly tools around the hills of our town turning heads everywhere she goes.
The chain on my bicycle (which I purchased from Voltaire) came off. The shop in Verona sent me immediately to their service repair shop in Cedar Grove (super close) and Dennis fixed it in no time!!! In fact, he checked my tires and alignment as well as a courtesy. A+ service!! THANK YOU Dennis!!!
This place is great!!! Everytime I walk in this place I feel like a kid in a candy store . The thing they put me in was electronic skateboards and they are the only dealer that even carries them! You can even test drive them and see which one you like best the guys are really friendly and go above and beyond to help you out.

Walking into the Electric Spokes shop I knew nothing about electric bikes. I spent a good amount of time there looking, test driving and asking Mark Baraniak a million questions before buying a bike. Mark is extremely knowledgeable and patient with everyone who walks in the door, particularly those who are uneducated about electric bikes as I was. Left bike there to be serviced just to have the front and rear brakes tightened, after 2weeks later still did nothing to the bike. I came and picked it up and simple asked for a 5mm Allen wrench and tightened them myself right in front of them fixing it within 2 minutes. What a waste of time and they have no mechanical knowledge. I do not recommend this place.

Terrible customer service, bike was promised to be repaired in 3 weeks, calling after more than a month to check on it. Bike wasn’t even looked at until 3 weeks it was dropped off. Parts needed for repair ordered a week later . No expected date available for the repair to be completed
Once again I am in love with bicycling. Just bought a Blix Aveny Electric Bike and it was worth every penny. I am in heaven. Derek is so friendly, and a knowledgeable enthusiastic bicyclist himself, eager to help you in any way to improve your ride. Jay adds a bicycle genius, understanding each bike in all its detail. He can fix anything. Each one of them brings many years of experience to their work. After somewhat recent knee surgeries, I was hoping to get back into bicycling shape. This bike is perfect for that, and for anyone else who wants to just enjoy their ride without any hassles. I love that I can sit upright and not bend over the handlebars. You know when you get off your bike to walk it and then you have to get back on it to ride up a hilly street? I just use the assist to get the bike moving then start pedaling, bringing it right up to the speed I want. When the assist is turned on, its user friendly and kicks in automatically, as you change gears, or not, if you turn it off. So easy. The bike is designed to help with these kinds of situations. When youve fallen slightly behind your biking companion you can bring it right up to speed and keep pedaling to maintain it at that speed. At first I was worried that I wouldnt get in shape because of the assist, but now Ive found that I can pedal as much or as little, and as hard or easy as I want to. I also bought the rear pannier shopping bags, which I use for groceries. Theyre waterproof and have stable bottoms. So easy to just snap them off and on the bike, using the shoulder strap to carry them into the store. And the best part is that its beautiful, and has a front basket that holds my flat bottom purse.
Earlier this week I ordered a Catrike flag mounting bracket so I could install a safety flag on the Greenspeed Anura recumbent quad I had recently bought for my wife. The ordering process from the ESC website was easy. The flag mount arrived in our mailbox just a couple of days after I had ordered it! I had expected it to take a week or more for the bracket to get here. The same day that the mount arrived, I received an e-mail from Derek at ESC. He thanked me for my order, and said if I had any questions about any of their products, to please let him know. I took him up on that offer and wrote to him with several questions regarding possibly getting an aftermarket electric-assist system for my wifes quad. Derek promptly wrote back with some interesting and useful information. I was very impressed with the fast shipping I received with the part I ordered, as well as with the very good customer service in following up my order. We purchased 2-Bafang 48v, 1000 watt complete e-bike systems from this company that we installed ourselves on our Catrike 559 and Dumont. Derek and team led us through many options from numerous manufacturers before we settled on Bafang. Prior to this, we had zero experience working on any type of bicycle but the system was an easy install. The most time consuming part was making sure the wiring and positioning of electronic devices was optimal. We made a great choice and these electric assists have been great fun thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful team at Electric Spokes. We would highly recommend them! A+!!!

Yesterday I was at this store looking to replace my daughter broken wheels for her bike and they told me they have the size I was looking for, after they they install he realized that the new wheels is not the proper size, so I ask them to remove the wheels because was to small, so they and up charging me, $ 20.00 for something that was not my fault .
I stopped in here yesterday and found the workers very helpful and every single employee asked me if I needed help exactly Mark Baraniak. That was a first but it was very appreciated. My husband and I were very, very impressed with THE ELECTRIC SPOKES COMPANY’S knowledge, professionalism, staff, and patience. They definitely went over and beyond, with 100% of their attention on us. We have never experienced this before when buying a bicycle or car.We are seniors and were bike riding in NYS, when we met a gentleman who had a different manufactured electric bike that once had issues with it. He shared his outstanding experience that he encountered with THE ELECTRIC SPOKES COMPANY - who eagerly fixed his bike even though it wasn’t purchased from them. He rated them with flying colors in all areas.His verbal praise with review seemed too good to be true, and it so happened that we were in the market to purchase another electric bike and we now wanted to check this COMPANY out for ourselves.The electric bike that we currently owned, needed repair and the possible new one had to meet certain specifications.We placed a call to THE ELECTRIC SPOKES COMPANY and had a very pleasant conversation with Derek Mithaug. He had such knowledge and gave us immediate confidence in their business and practices.Upon going to Verona, New Jersey, Derek had about five bikes pulled out that he felt might be of interest to us. All features were thoroughly explained and we proceeded to test drive the various bikes. There was absolutely no pressure and many hours later, after a million questions and numerous test drives, I thought I knew what I wanted, but wasn’t a 100% sure.The next week, we stopped by again and they actually made many modifications (including the handle bars, seat, etc..) to Derek’s personal bike, so that I could test drive it in the mountains to make sure this was truly the bike I was looking for, and it was indeed.I am now the proud owner of my first electric bike and my husband’s bike is now running like a charm.We have nothing but high regards for the operation and staff of THE ELECTRIC SPOKES COMPANY. We would like to thank the entire staff and recommend their business to all.
So where do I start?? I ordered a bike from these guys and a week later called and cancelled my order, the bike hadn’t even arrived at The Electric Spokes facility yet so it wouldn’t have been a problem to cancel the order. I was told that they would cancel my order so I thought I was done with it until the bike ended up at my house. I refused the shipment and it went back to Electric Spokes. I of course called to see what was going on and was told that they couldn’t cancel my order so they shipped it. I then proceeded to call Affirm who financed the bike to disputed the charge and after a week of dealing with them they said I owe them for the bike that I do not have. Everything this company did was very shady and I would assume that they hurting for business if this is how they treat their customers. I still do not have the bike that I am supposed to pay for.
