If I could give zero stars I would. I wish I would have read some of the reviews before making a deal with this place. I put a deposit down on a used car on Wednesday. The salesman stated he was not in on Thursday so Friday I contacted him and said I would like to pick up Saturday. All of a sudden they weren’t doing deliveries Saturday for the holiday. Asked to come Friday evening got told they were too busy. So I said I would be there Tuesday morning. Drove 100 miles Tuesday morning to get a text not a phone call a text from them saying the vehicle was “accidentally” sold Friday after I had a deposit on it for several days. I called and spoke to the general manager who wasn’t even apologetic. Just said oh well it happens. And said my deposit was only good til Friday which I was never made aware of. He acted like he could care less. Then had the nerve to ask if I wanted to look at another car. This plays nothing but games. I would never give this place my business.
This is simply a dishonest dealership. I experienced all the characteristics of a bad car buying experience in one visit. Wanted to test drive the base Wrangler model but was only allowed to test drive the ~$65K model due to some obscure reason. Specifically asked them to price me for the base Wrangler they had in stock. Then waited 45 (!!!) minutes for the salesman to speak to the manager. Came back and priced me out for the $65K model that I test drove even though I specifically asked otherwise. Took him 15 more minutes to price out the model I asked for. Their first offer was a joke. I mean, truly insulting. Wanted nearly $10K down and $850 per month lease for a $45K Wrangler. Salesman kept repeating news about chip shortages and lack of inventory and well be out of Jeeps to sell by the end of the month blurbs as justification for his ridiculous offer. Needless to say, I walked out and ignored all follow up texts/emails. Ended up leasing a more expensive Wrangler from another dealer for nearly HALF their monthly lease quote.Long story short - dont waste your time with this dealer. DeCozen is aiming for quantity, not quality.
I wish I could give zero stars.First it took WEEKS to get an appointment. I drop my car off at 8am. Service said they would call me in the afternoon. It was 3pm and I had heard nothing. I called them & had to leave a message. They called back at 5 minutes to 5pm to say they need more time to diagnose the car. I was confused as I told them what was wrong with the car when I made the appointment. Tony, the service man, changed his story to they need more time to look into the problem. He then proceeded to give me an attitude that if I needed the car I can come pick it up. He also told me I need to understand the new car shortage so everyone is working on old cars and they are backed up. I told him I made this appointment weeks ago and that should not have any hold on my car. He told me he can call my by 12pm the next day. I said I needed to know what the price. He called me the next day saying he needed to see if he had the parts. He then called me less than 2 hours later that the job was done at it would be $500. I looked at my invoice the parts were $7 and the labor was over $460. When I picked up the car I told him he never called me with the price and he said that is the way we do business. So, since that is the way they do business I will never deal with them again.
Really Great Experience at DeCozen. I went in and at once I was greeted with professionalism and overall great service. The whole process was done is such timely manner. I have never been at a dealer where my time was as appreciated as it was a Decozen. I would recommend JOE MANZE from DeCozen without a hint of a doubt.
Thank you Decozen for the quick turn around in the inspection of my vehicle and repair. Considering the shortages on loaner cars in all areas as a result of the pandemic and how many cars have been downsized for sell to keep businesses afloat during the pandemic. It was not easy accommodating everyone with a loaner car for customers like myself. I greatly appreciate the steps taken to accommodate me with a loaner car although it was not in the same 2021 year car model I purchased my car, however it was the attempt and customer service you provided to ensure I had a car until the repairs were made. It took 1 day to repair the car and it was greatly appreciated, the AC issue was fixed and I cant get cool air now, thanks to you. Thank you for your service.
Decent dealership, but be wary of Roberto. He will over promise and under deliver to make a sale. Even though I made an appointment before coming to the dealership, I was made to wait for over an hour. During my appointment I specifically asked about assistance setting up auto payments, which I was told oh yeah we take care of all of that stuff for you. Two months into the lease I get a call from my lender saying no payments had been made. When I reached out to Roberto for clarification he basically told me I was misremembering one of the few question I had specifically prepared for when I met with him.Now several months in I get a notice that my plates were never turned in & that my drivers license was going to suspended. When I called in I was told that Roberto is 99% sure he handed me the pates. I had to come back several days after I leased the car and Roberto was not around at the time so this would not have been possible. Luckily Jerry helped me gather what I needed to resolve the notice I got from the MVC and was great to deal with.Decent dealership, just recommend a different sales person.
I continue to go there because I get the type of service that I need. Im at a very friendly guy who also wrote a book that I saw sitting on his desk so I had to buy it and he was the absolute best! Very friendly welcoming and professional! We purchased two vehicles from there
HORRIBLE experience with this service department. Drop my car off Friday for a constant front knocking sound when driving. Tony called Friday afternoon and stated they didnt hear any knocking and pick up my car.. I refused and asked if can it be re-examined. They called back and said yes we heard the noise and we are changing your wheel bearings. They called at the end of Friday and stated they still heard the noise and now they are changing struts and mounts. I received my car Monday didnt even exit the parking lot and I heard the knocking. Tony and a mechanic takes the car for another test drive with me and we heard the knocking. Manger DAN stated I dont know what to tell you, cars make noise and he didnt see nothing alarming nor does he think safety is an issue. There was nothing further he can do for me. The conversation was recorded and I will be seeking a claim with arbitration. The level of INCOMPETENCE at this dealership is indescribable!!
I know trucks are hard to come by nowadays so I wanted a concise and straight forward leasing process. Chris Logan provided me with just that and gave me the time and space to think thru what was right for me. All in all, it was a great process.
Last visit there wasnt my favorite but Im not going to blame it on the staff Ill blame it on covid. Apparently they couldnt negotiate because of covid, couldnt get me accessories because of covid and couldnt give me the car the day I bought it because of covid.......
I got my car in March. The radio has been automatically resetting itself. I wasnt sure if there was an electrical issue or not so I decided to bring it in to be checked. I cant remember the name of the service person who assisted me but he was telling me that I did have the extended warranty so there would only be a $100. But he gave me the impression that that would only be if the radio had to be replaced. He said nothing about a charge if there were just updated done. He also made me to believe that it would be probably 4 or 5 hours at the most. I took my car in at 8 am and did not finally get a call until like 5. Then a guy told me there would be a charge. Needless to say, I was very upset.
Saviours of your automotive needs. Professional, trustworthy and friendly service department, which makes a refreshing change. They got me out of a troubling engine problem, fully fixed up the vehicle and all under warranty. Car is better than ever. Shout out to Tom who was there in my hour of need. Would go back. And avoid nearby Jeep dealers!
DO NOT RECOMMEND DeCozen Chrysler Jeep Dodge, they sold me an extended warranty and don’t want to cancel it. It was a great experience while going to buy the car, the Sales Representative named Christ is amazing, he was helpful, a man with word and trust. The problem is that After a month, when I received the finance description I noticed there was a charge of 7,000 dollars for an extended guarantee I didn’t know about. The finance manager tried to convince me that he told me about it when I know I wouldn’t pay for that and I didn’t agree on having an extended guarantee, (I should have read everything, but still the warranty can be cancel and the Finance manager said “he couldn’t do anything for me”). He said he couldn’t do anything about it when he knew I have the option to cancel it. Him and the Manager Jerry kept telling lies about whom should I speak with and throwing the ball at each other as if I were a child.I left a bad review at “DealerRater” and one day after the manager Jerry called me, yelling at me because I left a bad review. I asked him to please lower his voice and him literally told: “I am not going to help you, and I am not lowering my voice for shit”. Since then I have not been able to cancel the warranty because either General Manager Jerry” nor “Finance Manager Joe” answer the phone.I don’t know what to do, but I need some advises please!
Anna did a great job at DeCozen getting me in and out of there in a timely fashion. Such wonderful customer service!
Roberto made the entire process of leasing my Jeep Grand Cherokee super simple and quick. Extremely professional, kind, and patient. He definitely made me a repeat customer of Decozen for my next lease.
The sales person helping me with this purchase was professional and helpful... However, unfortunately the dealership exhibited many of the same characteristics that are synonymous with car dealerships, such as staff cursing loudly at and to one another, staff very audibly talking negatively about customers behind their backs, very little adherence to the COVID-related guidelines likes wearing masks, and the most absurdly exhaustive list of disclaimer-centric forms to sign that I have literally ever seen. Talk about NOT standing behind your own product, wow! This was not true of everyone there, but was too true of others. In all, I got good one to one service from the sales rep who helped me, and purchased a vehicle I am happy with at a decent price. The rest was disappointing.
My experience at Decozen was fairly good. Of course until I paid and walked out the door. I didnt know at the time that the car is supposed to come with 3 keys. 2 regular keys for us grown adults, and 1 keysense key with restrictions. We received 2 keys, 1 being the keysense key. I contacted Decozen regarding this issue, and they told me they would contact the previous owner. Took a little bit but I was told the owner knows nothing of the 3rd key. I once again, verified through Chrysler that this car does in fact come with 3 keys, and contacted my sales person, John again. We paid for this car outright, no finance, no bs, why is it so difficult to program us a 3rd key for free. Granted it costs between 200-400, but we just dished out 38k on a car and even though John pulled some strings for us regarding another issue that shouldve been included, the key is an important part for my wife and I. Once we get an answer regarding this key, I will gladly change my review to a 5 star because customer service shouldnt end once you hand over your money.
While I was please with the service they provided for why I brought the car in initially, I was very disappointed with the false recommendation that my car needed rear brakes. I refused the service and then brought the car to a family friend who has been a mechanic for 20 plus years. I highly trust him. After looking at the car, he advised that it did NOT need rear brakes. The pads and rotors were fine. They wanted me to pay $541 for an unnecessary brake job. I will not be returning to this location for service.
I just wanna say that the service department is not great. I went there and there was no one to help me. They are not even virtuous enough to say good morning. I will never go back there. I have been to car services and I have never been treated like this ever. Not good customer service. They luck I am a nice person to even give them 2 stars😞😞😞😞
The most pleasant experience Ive had at a car dealership. Our car dealer, Basir Alam was nothing but welcoming and kind. He listened and worked with us on the best options possible. He made buying a car simple and quick.
Leased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from there around 2007. Used their leasing company. No issues with the lease. Salesman was pretty good, no frills, no issues. Transaction was an in and out as one could expect. Around the end of the lease, I got spam calls about renewing my warranty. Despite my best efforts to stop the calls, It is now 2021 and I still get 1 call a day every day for renewing that warranty. I just got a call 5 minutes ago, hence why Im writing this review now. As far as Im concerned, I hold this dealership responsible.
Dont waste your time. If you have a trade they will give you a low number like most dealers do but then come back with a number couple thousands higher. After youve selected the vehicle they tell you that there is a markup on the vehicle (ram 1500 Laramie - they had over 5 in stock) for the amount they gave you more on the trade. Called a different dealer and they told us that there was no markup on ram 1500s only on the TRX.
It was a pleasant experience and our representative John was very straightforward and did not try to play the role of a salesman which me and my lady liked
They not interested in selling vehicles went to purchase. They had car marked 26k offered 25k total cost walked out . Not my fault if they over paid for a trade in
This place was an awsome experience, the people I worked with carmine and Roberto were awsome! They helped me get into a gorgeous truck, and were so helpful. Great experience here very down to earth guys. They also stayed two hours after closing to accommodate me which Ive never seen before. Not sure why theres only 3 stars stars on this place, maybe too many pizza jokes..
They are the best! I was very happy with my purchase experience there, fast, no bs, honest and efficient. I will definitely recommend them to anyone
Do not lease a vehicle from this dealership you will be charged a $450.00 disposition fee if you do not re-lease through them. They use a private bank Cal Automotive. This bank over chargers for your vehicle at the end of the lease, so good luck having equity on your vehicle when you try to turn in your lease and lease another vehicle. I just leased a new RAM and I’m being penalized $450.00 for it. They will not tell you this upfront and, I called Chrysler cooperate and they pretty much can’t do anything about it since it’s not through Chrysler capital which is the bank most Dodge/Jeep/ Chrysler dealerships use. Do your research before leasing.
I am currently in the market in purchasing a new car, Decided to visit this dealership, And truly fell in love with one Truck they had in the lot. However no one greeted Me nor acknowledged me. The staff were all hanging out and didnt even look my way
I stopped in to ask Tom, If he would be kind enough to ck the pressure in my tires, prior to my trip to NC.He was most courteous & agreed. To help us.He checked all 4 tires & even filled my air tank.Tom is a very professional & knowledgeable service manager. It is a pleasure to be his customer & we will remain so.
My husband and I came in to purchase two vehicles and this people are unprofessional cursing at the customer as it sense of urgency. I had two checks over 110k to buy two cars and he called the cop and threatened to keep my down payment check.
Run and run far far away from this dealership. If I could have given this 0 stars, I would have. Went in to look at a grand cheeroke and literally was told they are too busy and cant help me. I worked with Chris and he constantly told my sister and i he was too busy and that we needed to put a deposit down on the car to hold it to set up a later time to see it and test drive it. Then after we left he was trying to register the car and put it on my sisters name without her filling out the paperwork to purchase it. We told them we wanted the deposit back and to be done with them and they told us we would never see it again, and would have to go to court to get our money back. I had to call and go to the dealership multiple times and just walk into the managers office to get the deposit back this is the shadiest and most unprofessional dealership ever. RUNNNNN and never look back.
The service was great. I was in and out in record time. My only complaint is the grease marks left on the door sill (Im assuming from the mechanics shoes) took me 15 minutes of heavy scrubbing to get most of it off.
After making several inquiries online and by phone I went into the dealership to lease a new Pacifica. They knew who I was upon entry due to my multiple inquiries and I surely should have been flagged as a serious buyer. Chrysler.com shows a special for 229 per month.I meet with Basir and explained that I wanted that specific car under those terms. He proceeded to disappear for 25 minutes, to then tell me the lease would actually be $440 per month, and the 4400 down payment jumped to 7400. Total cost of 17,960 for 24 month lease with 10k miles per year. (748.33 mo) (How did a 229 lease on a $41k car double???)I said no thank you, that I was not interested, and having driven an hour to get there and waiting a half hour while there, I asked to use the restroom on my way out.Basir told me NO, GO OUTSIDEUNBELIEVABLE!, UNACCEPTABLE! INEXCUSABLE!- I expect that dealerships will often be shady in their pricing practices and I usually choose to simply go elsewhere, but for this miserable excuse for a person to tell a perspective customer to relieve himself outside is unbelievable!!!(I went to the front and politely asked the receptionist and went anyway. I should have listened to him and relieved myself on their car lot)In any event, not only will I never go to or recommend DeCozen, I am no longer interested in buying a Chrysler.Good job guy!Point of fact, that evening I got a Volvo XC90 T6 through Volvo care for $825 per month. This includes 15k miles per year, includes car insurance, all maintenance, and wear and tear.Best car purchasing experience of my life! 10 minutes, online, and I didnt have to deal with a lowlife like Basir.DONT GO HERE!BUYER BEWAREIf you do, be sure to use the restroom prior
Thieves. Asking for a deposit to purchase a vehicle upfront and then telling you the vehicle you want will come in the following week. Then extending the time because they say the vehicle is not available. When you ask for the refund because they dont have the vehicle agreed upon they tell you sorry its not refundable. Horrible service. To add insult to injury the manager calls the Police because he was scared because we sure werent. These people are not to be trusted. Run the other way.
Very helpful with any issues or questions I have and always hospitable everytime I walk in the door
Bill from the Services Department was so rude and condescending. It’s a shame that one person can tarnish the reputation of such a world renowned company and dealer. He was very unprofessional, and uncaring, over the phone and in person. Even when I came to pick up my car, he left my door opened without saying anything and walked away, amidst a snow storm. He had the opportunity to show exceptional customer service skills and apologize and, unsurprisingly, did neither. I will never purchase a car or take my car here again. After 10 years of solely buying dodge cars, I think that it’s time for a change. All other staff members were very respectable and admirable; unfortunately, this is a rare circumstance of where one bad apple ruins it for the bunch.
They completed the job quickly but they were quick to tell me i needed extra repairs but they didnt take the time to check the tire pressure in my tires. The light was on in truck so very disappointed. I always had good experience here so hopefully its not a pattern.
After dealing with several other dealerships I came across DeCozen during an online search. They had a large inventory and several of the exact make / model / color of what I was looking for. After an initial phone call I came in to meet with the Salesman Basir Alam who was great. There was no pressure / hassle during negotiations and I left feeling satisfied I got the vehicle I wanted for a good price. I would recommend DeCozen and specifically Basir who exceeded my expectations.
I’m happy driving my new Pacifica Hybrid plug-in Pinacle. A very nice car!!! But I’m less happy with the commercial team...as we all know sales people are very attentive, proactive and helpful pre-sale but as soon as you become owner they re-direct you to the service department...the only thing for this time a it’s a +$50k minivan...on day 1 I arrive home and find out that the underbody cover is loose and touch the ground ( it is used to protect all the wiring and electrical parts under the car), I call the sales agent and we agreed to stop by on a Saturday to fix it (all other day I work and they are closed on Sunday - NJ)...they fixed ...Today, I notice the same thing, connected with the same sales agent he directed me right away to the service department for an appointment...I’m sure they will take care of the car but this is a bad experience for a customer that need to drive for ~40 miles (btw, it is more than the range of the electrical full capacity of 32 Miles), spend again at least 2 hours to re-fix this ... disappointed and frustrated if this problem is only the tip of the iceberg...who knows how this cover fall down and still falling down ....
Service department is a joke. Tried calling several times before I stopped in to make an appointment in person. Service Rep showed no interest in helping me. Live a few blocks away and have leased two vehicles from them in the past but no more.
Do Not leave a deposit!! Lil Mikey will think its legally his to keep. Very unprofessional and argumentive. I was kind enough to purchase a vehicle that I almost backed out of over a piece of standard equipment, but apparently lil mikey thought he could threaten to keep my deposit. I quickly noticed its not the staff, prices, nor merchandise its greedy ownership and poor management that feel so entitled that they actually forgot its the customers and our word that keep the lights on! This guys getting fat in his his Bentley while his employees starve on the floor. I hope you enjoyed my business cause besides this poor review and clear warning to steer clear, im sure I wont be the last to give you one star.
I love taken my truck here cause I know it always get fixed right 😁
Found the Pacifica I wanted online, which was at Decozen CJD. I live 80 miles away, so I went to my local Chrysler dealer to see if they could do a dealer trade for it. My dealer called them up, and the salesperson for Decozen literally hung up on him mid-sentence when he found out it was a Pacifica Hybrid, saying that they dont trade those. If that is the professional courtesy you can expect from these jokers, then do yourself a favor and steer clear. There are plenty of other car dealers who are happy to treat you like human beings when you are looking to make an important investment such as a car. Also, why would you NOT trade a Hybrid? If you are getting a comparable Hybrid in return, youre not LOSING anything? Makes no sense... SMDH...
Loving my car....excellent service.roberto help us he good.
They tip their delivery drivers $0.50. You really want to buy a car from them?
Great staff. Carmine Lofaro was great. Id highly recommend.
My daughter just bought her first car. Chris Logan was her sales person. He was absolutely wonderful to her and made the buying experience less intimidating. Carmine, the finance, was pleasant and a great conversationalist. He explained the paperwork for us lay people who dont necessarily speak sales. The service was exceptional! Im so happy for my daughter!
The service department is outstanding. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is because they dont offer a loaner vehicle. Getting someone to follow me to drop it off and drive me to pick it up is a hassle.
Mike the Manager is a complete POS, the dude should not be in management, he is arrogant and hung up on me when I asked him about his false advertised price on a car. I would never do business with this company! They are very dishonest and rude!!!
Service Manager told me they are backed up 2 months and will not take a safety recall from Dodge because of being backed up.
For months I been looking as my lease was coming to an end. Salesman Basir showed interest in o my selling me a new vehicle or close to new vehicle. My lease for a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee was ending and I wanted a used pickup truck in the years of 2007-2014. Wasn’t looking to spend more than $15k. He didn’t seem to want to bother and gave me many passive explanations. After months of searching decided I wanted the 2018 Dodge Ram Laramie on Decozens lot. Went to test drive one night when it was dark and I loved it. About month and a half later I wanted and was able to make the purchase. After the sale and paperwork when I went outside with Basir to go over the vehicle I noticed on driver side rear window panel paint chipped and rust under. We both didn’t notice this and he told me he would get me touch up paint. Touch up paint for chipped paint and rust? Really? Told him I would call during week to talk about this. I went for an estimate from a legit body shoppe in wallington. Called dealership and spoke with Basir voicemail and he told me to bring in following week to show his manager. We then were in text and he told me that I bought the truck as is and I went over the truck more times than him so basically it’s my responsibility and that I was given a $1,000 discount bc I asked for it. I told him as a business owner dealing with customers I didn’t think his professionalism was professional at all. As a salesman he should’ve known that truck. Ore than me which I believe he did but just stood silent on the rust. And so I texted back that he’s not the owner. He’s just the salesman there and should consider putting the customers wants above all. He then called me and voiced his defense that I called him just a salesman and talked in a fine of bully toughness. Then put me on speaker so the manager can hear. And I let loose in him as I been biting my tongue awhile. Let him know exactly what I thought of him as a unprofessional salesman. Manager told me to bring truck in to look at and I did so right then and there. Quickly manager stated that wasn’t there when they received the truck and another employee stated that it had to be there awhile bc of the rust. Told me to go see his body guy and we could talk. Few days later went to body guy and while they called manager in office with me I’m certain through the energy and uncomfortability there was talk about the dispute between the Salesman and myself. I felt the bully nonsense again. Was told by body guy to go see manager to talk about payment. So I went. As I walked in they must’ve been waiting for me. All the employees on top floor overlooking the entirety of inside the dealership were standing with arms crossed staring at me as Basir came to me with a sheet of paper stating that I am agreeing dealership will pay $400 of the $900 estimate bodyshoppe gave me. I signed it. And I wasn’t intimidated by the bully tough guy persona that was being presented to me. But that’s just what it was. And I left. They called me an hour later to come pick up plates and registration. Went Friday to do so. Basir sees me and says I’ll see you Monday for the drop off and loaner car to get rust damage done and I said no thank you. I have someone that’s a friend that will get it done for $350. I’m not paying no dealer anything for a mistake they tried to undermine with me as my fault. I’ll never do business here again. I’ll never recommend this dealership again either. My parents bought vehicles here. Friends. And this was the third vehicle I bought in the last five years from this dealership. I’m not a fan of car salesman. But this was one salesman put up to bully as his leadership must’ve taught himSo. Bad business. Definitely lost a customer. And will not recommend anyone again to this dealership. The 32 pictures of this Dodge Ram didn’t show one picture of the driver side where the paint and rust damage was. Not one.
Chris the sales person was very helpful, although we were not able to come to an Agreement on the price of the truck, I would definitely go back and try again when I am ready to buy.
Roberto was very helpful from the moment I walked in. We took care of business, I knew what I wanted before I walked and he helped make it happen. Carmine who I believed was the Manager on duty was great finalizing the purchase.
I have to say I am adverse to auto dealer service as I have had several bad experiences in the past. I needed recall work done so I brought my car to DeCozen. I was impressed, the work was done quickly and professionally. Everything I mentioned was attended to and there was no pressure for additional service. Kudos to DeCozen and Tom from service.
Went over there because I saw a Jeep Wrangler online that they posted on Cargurus for a great price. While negotiating the pricing, it was actually much higher than what I saw on the website, because apparently that posting was incorrect. Of course, the listed price on the physical sticker was non negotiable. A trip wasted, nice to know they mislabel prices. Also, the dealership even had the audacity to call me about 2 or 3 times after visiting to see if I was still interested in the car.
Great people who worked with me. Gave me a great deal on a brand new wrangler!! Ask for Chris hes awesome.
We experienced very good customer service when picking up our vehicle. Once we picked our vehicle we had prompt service and paperwork was done in a timely manner. My husband and I were very happy with the workers and have no complaints. We will likely do business with DeCozen Chrysler again in the furture.Thank you for your help DeCozen on the pick of our new car. We both love it!
Basir at Decozen is the absolute best. He was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. We did not feel pressured or intimidated to purchase. He explored several options with us and was able to find me a car that fit my exact needs. Service was prompt and efficient. Loving my new Jeep Compass, couldnt be happier! :)
Words can not express how wonderful this dealership is and amazing Tiffany Smith is. I found Tiffany when I was looking for a truck for my son (who ended up going elsewhere because of the truck he wanted). My daughter was looking to return her lease and lease a new one so I reached out to Tiffany again. She is efficient, friendly, courteous and always willing to help. She is truly as asset to the company. I have never had such a pleasant experience at a dealership before. I had gone to Ramsey Jeep a few days earlier and it was horrible. They forced my daughter to test drive the truck (even though she didnt want to) and would not show her the features on the vehicle. They couldnt get the deal done and sent us on our way. Tiffany scheduled an appointment to come into dealership and meet with John Bowler who also is great to work with. The whole experience was so seamless and stress free. I work in the insurance industry and will send everyone over to DeCozen.. Tiffany Smith is my rock star!!!
Liked it so much better when Derek Levy worked there. He never minded getting bogged down with details!!! I imagined it would again be a great experience especially since the dealerships were all shut down for months. Several friends told me it was difficult negotiating a deal. Recently discovered so many horrendous reviews expressing how rude the staff was. May try Little Falls or East Hanover.
Bought my first car today from here Basir the person that helped me made sure I was at my target price although it was a little pricy still a great dude and very professional.
Take your money elsewhere, many other dealerships to choose from. After buying a car from them i had a issue with my extended warranty. Reached out to them for help, called and left Carmine three voicemails and never heard back from him. Made it clear that all they care about is making a sale and after that you are on your own.
I walked in one Saturday morning just searching for pricing and walked out with a new Jeep. Joe Manze was terrific. He worked with me to get the jeep that I wanted and the budget that I set. By Monday, I was pulling off the lot with my new car. I have read the Google reviews prior to coming to DeCozen and they do this dealership no justice. I have experience professionalism from the minute I walked in the door. Everyone went way and beyond to address my needs and concerns. The transition into a new car could not be any smoother.Unfortunately a week into my lease, a had a computer malfunction. I spoke with Frank on the telephone in service and he reassured me that my car was fine and to bring it in. This was corrected in a timely manner. Again, my faith was restored when Tom kept me posted with all the details. Please look beyond negative reviews and disgruntle buyers who post them. Look at the reviews of satisfied customers and go by their experience of exceptional customer service!
This is my second keep purchase with Devozen. I love my vehicle but was upset that I was not offered a free oil change as in the past. Also, I was surprised when I made my appointment that I was not told I could wait inside. I had to go back home and reschedule. Not very convenient.
Dont go there for service. We had a check engine light which indicated that the engine misfired. Brought it in to this unscrupulous dealership who said that we needed to have our engine removed and would cost more than $500. We brought it in about a year ago and should have learned our lesson. They kept our Jeep for several weeks without touching it and charged us several thousands of dollars for next to no work done. We asked them not to do any work this time. Yet, we were still charged $96 for an oil change. SCAM!!
I bought a hybrid that doesn’t work properly and the shop told me last week that they cannot replace the battery and I need to take it up with Chrysler. No call from the guy who sold me this lemon...just a car with a battery that only goes about 20 miles...cheaper to use gas!I guess I will have to ask the manager and then if that doesn’t work try to find someone at the parent company or just sue everyone...Nightmare!Why do I have to chase people to have someone do the right thing?
The service advisor who helped me was very professional, to the point and courteous. I was waiting for another advisor named Billy but he took me in since he knew Billy was busy. He was matter of fact and made sure I understood the services I was getting.
The Worst experience I ever had Leasing a vehicle!!They are completely Dishonest!!!Dont take it from me..... just research them!!
Go to Dover Dodge hands down better exp.
Welcoming environment! Great customer service! This is my second lease experience there. I will do business there again.
Great experience. Took care of most of the research, paperwork and financing discussion over the phone, via email and via text. Did not have to spend much time at the dealership. Love my new 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Altitude!
Went recently to check out a Grand Cherokee, very disappointing experience. The associate I dealt with had a hard time explaining the difference between trims. When discussing desired lease terms, the associate came back with a price that was over $100 more than my targe payment and 6 months longer than I expressed interest in. I was also asked to hand over a credit card to show my commitment and sign my name on a piece of paper with an unofficial offer that I hadnt agreed on yet. Ive never been asked to do either before making a commitment. After realizing we werent going to come to an agreement, the associate tried to tell me what it was I was really looking for and tried to compare the vehicles there with other options I was considering. Very dissatisfied with the service & experience. The rest of the crew seemed friendly, and the dealership is very nice otherwise.
By the far the worst customer service I have ever experienced! The most unprofessional group of managers who do not hesitate to insult their customers. I could go on and on but many of the former reviews speak for themselves. I should have read the reviews before I wasted my time.
First and foremost, the service manager Bill was rude when I asked questions about warranty. He took a deep breather and rolled his eyes. I was livid. That set the tone of what kind of service I was getting. I left my car despite how I was feeling. Nevertheless, I have asked Bill for a loaner car, I was told that I cannot get one because I didnt purchase my car from them. I was stunned. I replied My car is a dodge and I purchased my car from dodge. Bill, that doesnt make no sense. I was annoyed already. To make a long story short, Bill lied and said that they diagnosed my car and the problem is wheel bearing. As my gut told me he was lying that he never did anything to my car. I took my car and carried to another Dodge dealership. The true problem with my 3 year old dodge car is the transmission. What is troubling is that I had to pay for diagnostic at DeCozen Chrysler. They lied on the diagnostic and I want my money back. DO NOT go to DoCozen Chrysler. DISHONEST PEOPLE.
I have a 2012 Wrangler that had not had its onboard computer updated in a long time. The Jeep could not pass NJ MVC inspection because of this, “fuel system not ready” status. Tom G was the person who helped me, they had my Jeep for a day and updated the PCM, and a few drive cycles later- thankfully my Jeep passed. Tom understood that I like to work on my Jeep and take pride in my car. He did not try to upsell me or give me a hard sell on anything. He did recommend that the brakes and air filter get changed- jobs that I have on my list to get done. I will go back to DeCozen for more advanced work as needed as I am not a trained mechanic but a car and bike guys who likes to get his hands dirty. I would recommend Tom G. And their service dept. at DeCozen.
Basir was a great help! Didn’t have the car I wanted but was friendly and not pushy
I felt like part of there family, the whole staff are warm and inviting, I would recommend DeCozen to everyone
Best experience I’ve had at a car dealership. Roberto my salesman was so nice, helpful and made sure that all of my expectations were met! I couldn’t be happier with my new Jeep! Would definitely recommend to everyone I know!
I recently took my Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 2017 to get serviced because it had a fault and the engine was shaking. The technicians checked it and according to the advisor it was fine. I noticed that the engine was still shaking after being serviced, I informed the advisor and he told me that these engines work this way. I explained to him that I had purchased my Jeep new from their dealership and in all the time that I have owned my Jeep it had never trembled and he replied that I did not know and did not understand. He unwillingly decided to stay with the Jeep to reexamine the issue. Three days later, I was contacted to pick up my Jeep from the dealership and the problem was fixed. At no time was I offered a loaner while my car was being serviced. This is the last time I take my Jeep for service and I will never buy another Jeep from them. I will not recommend them to anyone.--Baldomero Velez
It’s a shame, but they’ve lost a customer for life. We’ve bought two Jeeps from them over the years. Used to be much better to deal with. On the last Jeep (2015 Grand Cherokee), the hood started bubbling under the paint (a Jeep warranty issue). Took the truck to them to be evaluated. A month later, no response. Started calling. Left three messages, over two weeks. No response. Even talked to the operator, and service manager, to explain my situation, in hopes that they could intervene. Nothing. Ended up calling Jeep corporate directly. They got the dealer on the phone, who swore they never got my messages, and promised to jump on it right away, but needed me to come in so they could take more photos. Went there the same day for more photos. Was promised a quick turnaround. Three weeks later, nothing. Called a few times, finally got a return call that their body shop changed, and they had to get new estimates approved, by Jeep, to repair it. Was told it would be about another week. That was over two months ago, still not a word. Separately, we decided to replace the same Grand Cherokee. Naturally, went to talk to their sales department. Was offered $5k trade in on the ‘15 Grand Cherokee. It seemed awfully low, so went to get a couple more trade in values. Two local dealers offered $11k, and $12k. Ended up buying my new Grand Cherokee from the folks in Morristown. So far, so good with the new dealer. Had a small issue with the new truck. They got me on right away, and gave me an ‘18 Grand Cherokee as a loaner, for the day.
Pretty decent team over there - Ive had one Service Rep that was a rather difficult person to deal with, but not worth highlighting them individually. Overall, everything went moderately smoothly, it would have been phenomenal if they were able to provide a loaner (or at least help coordinate one for me) as was contractually required.I also dealt with two members of the sales team. We didnt get a deal done, but I think I would have trusted them enough to move forward with a deal, had my situation been different.Ill likely return, as they were the least difficult FCA dealership in the area.
I was happy with my experience with Chris and Joe. I highly recommend them. We came in thinking we would just browse the options and ask some questions.. we ended up leaving that same day with our brand new 2019 jeep wrangler. Everyone was professional. They were courteous, kind, and worked quickly. I would recommend this place to others.
I called to turn in my current Cherokee and lease a new one. I spoke with Mike and then with Roberto. I told them what type of Jeep Cherokee I was looking for (Limited) and what color. They had one on the lot and from there it was very simple to get the deal I was looking for. I was even able to walk inside the dealership with my dog as I sat with Joe and Roberto. No problems, a great experience and a great car!
Went in to purchase a Jeep Willys. Because the one we are looking for is hard to find, and they had it in stock, they were price gouging. When asked why it was $3000 over the sticker price, the salesman had a nerve to say, supply and demand. We walked out immediately;. Here we are trying to help the economy get back on their feet after this crazy time in the world, and DeCozen is there trying to take advantage of people. Such a shame.
I have been Leasing Jeep Grand Cherokees for the past 10+ Years. I have had the BEST Experience ever here at DeCozen Jeep. It was easy smooth an overall enjoyable experience. I Highly recommend DeCozen for your next vehicle vehicle !
The service department is the best! I will definitely be buying my next car from DeCozen. After purchasing my Dodge from Route 46 Jeep Dodge Ram I got nothing but spam calls and text and headaches any time I tried to book service. When I really needed service the most I was told I couldnt be helped for 3 month. I called DeCozen and was seen in 2 1/2 weeks with no problems and a smaller invoice than I expected. Thank you DeCozen team!
I have searched for Chargers and other dealerships were trash but this one gave me a much better deal and I enjoy driving my Hot Wheels its so dope
I had a great experience leasing a Jeep Wrangler. I arrived around 10am and was out by 12:00pm. Chris, the sales rep did a good job. Would definitely come back when I’m ready to purchase my next vehicle.
I buy it there - I take it there !who would know my Jeep better then the one that sold it to me ! Its all good -check them out .
Very nice people!
Didn’t work for me, don’t recommend.
Went there for bulbs and one time back in September I had them put my custom made red jeep calipers on
I spent almost $40,000.00 cash on a used vehicle with Decozen. I was assured this vehicle would pass a state inspection by several staff at the dealership. In addition to various damage to the vehicle which was not disclosed online, (dents in the hood, door locks that didnt function (#death trap, I had to demand immediate repair on that), various interior trim pieces popping off or missing) my vehicle had 1 tire which had a small seperation of the tread. I identified the issue seeking remedy which was denied because I was an out of state customer. Any state would not pass an inspection with this issue local or not. I attempted to contact the managers, owners and they didnt even return the phone calls. Everything was great until I purchased my vehicle. I should have known to leave this seedy dealership because as soon as I arrived, a customer was exiting the dealership and announced to everyone this dealership will rip you off like they did me. A simple 100.00 dollar tire and nothing, no concessions, no attempted customer loyalty or consideration. Unbelievable. STAY AWAY!!! Dont fall for the phony positive reviews as they are being posted by current employees of the dealership!!!
I worked with John, he was great and not pushy at all... Reasonably priced vehicles, friendly and knowledgable staff. They were super helpful with the transition of my old lease to a new one. Would highly recommend to anyone.
What a difference 18 months makes. DeCozen has done a 180 and went from doing everything right to I will NEVER get a vehicle from them again nor, will I service with them moving forward.I recently started a new job and the company will be providing me a vehicle of my choice. As I will be doing a lot of driving, I decided to follow in the path of a current employee and get a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 Overland. I convinced my company to allow me to run the deal through DeCozen as I had a great experience there when I leased my Challenger Hellcat. Mistake. I am loyal and contacted my Sales rep Marlene who once again treated my very well and tried her best to help but her hands were tied by inept management that does not know the value of a repeat customer. I explained that my company would be doing the lease and handle all of the finances. I was doing the legwork to get what i wanted and needed the lease numbers in order to present to them.Strike one- they would not give me lease numbers until I put a deposit down, despite the fact that I was a repeat customer and trying to push a deal their way for my company. A closer was sent to speak with me despite knowing this. They finally agreed and gave me the numbers I needed to present to my company.Strike two- My company agreed to move forward however they did not have any more Overland Grand Cherokees so they would have to get from another dealer. No biggie. They then told me they would not move forward unless i provided a $500 dollar deposit. Once again, repeat customer that was loyal and pushing a deal to them over the dealership my company dealt with before.Strike three- I go in to give the deposit and was told that they would not get the vehicle until my company President came in personally. They are willing to take MY deposit but will still not bring vehicle in. I nicely protested and they agreed to bring vehicle in if I gave them $1000 dollar non refundable deposit! Really? I could see if this was a special vehicle, in a weird color but we are talking a cookie cutter Grand Cherokee Overland in the most popular color Granite Gray that is a dime a dozen. They are available in all the surrounding dealerships, DeCozen just happened to not have any.Good Job DeCozen. You took a repeat, loyal customer and ran him through the car dealer maze of stupidity and had him walk out the door never to return. You are everything that is wrong with a car dealership
Terrible service! The staff here are not normal! He wants to quarrel with me!Im here to check my car!I will ask him the result certificate after the car inspection! He didnt want to give it to me!The car inspection results were also wrong!Hes going to charge more!I need to go to another garage to check my car!I would have gone to court against them! They wasted two days of my time!Their repair shop will make you charge you!I went to two garages with different results! They send me a message to contact them!!They are not responsible after I contact them!!It is cheater! If you fix your car here theyll charge you more for the wrong result.❌❌❌⛔️⛔️⛔️ Please see the photo below! They gave me the wrong car inspection results!
Sadly my experience was a poor one. I have leased my last 4 jeeps at DeCozen and up until now I had a good outcome. This last time my lease was up and I went in to discuss renewing a new jeep. we went back and forth with pricing and for a $9 difference the sales Rep stopped calling and responding to my messages. I ended up going to another dealer to get my jeep. I was disappointed I wasnt able to continue doing business with DeCozen as I was with them for so long.
I took my car there for a repair and found these stains on the car when I picked it up. The service rep cleaned it up when I pointed them out, but this is not a good look.
