Our company ordered a Town Scoop ice cream cake for a birthday in the office. Everyone loved it and said it was the best ice cream cake they’ve ever had!!! Now we only order our cakes from here. Also, they have the BEST soft serve! Definitely would recommend for all your cakes and whenever you’re craving some ice cream.They also make you feel like family. Great people, great ice cream.

People are friendly. Ice cream is fantastic. They have both soft serve and hard Ice cream.. Ice cream cakes are a little expensive but worth the price. Best Ive ever had. We go there at least 2xs a month.

Ordered a cake. There were delays when picking it up, as the cake wasnt ready and there was confusion on their end. The ice cream cake was really good though.

The best ice cream in Verona

I was excited to try this place. But the first visit was very disappointing. They had a lot of teens in front of the store with no mask. They were clearly friends with the workers, who were giving away ice cream. As a result our order disappeared. So needless to say the service was very bad. We might give one more try during the day!

Loved it. Quaint, very 1960-ish, good selection of ice cream, a few seats outside and a few inside.

The guys working there are awesome & so is the ice cream. I really felt like they were attentive & sooooo awesome. Just a pleasure to encounter this & makes me want to keep coming back. Thanks for having a super friendly atmosphere!

My kids enjoy the small authentic feel of the store. It has a very intimate feel with pictures depicting the transformation of the ice cream parlor and town. The clerks are very helpful and attentive. The parking can get cramped quick. The Essex County Park A.K.A. Verona Park provides relief as you can cross the street to the park. Prices are good for the budget and flavors are good for the taste buds.

My 1st time @ this cute little Ice Cream Parlor! My granddaughter had been here before, and w/Verona Park closed for a day, no ducks to feed, we headed for ice cream! Mint choc chip for Olivia, Chocolate brownie w/ sea salt for me...both were yummy!! 😋

I have been going here for almost seven years, and am a regular. I feel like the scoopers there know me personally as they are so personable, nice,and kind. The authentic vintage feel of the store is something that makes the experience so much better, and is an amazing spot for friends in the summer. The scoopers always give you a generous amount, and the prices are a steal for the quality of the ice cream. The fun takes on classic flavors also make them do fun for adults and kids alike.

Very cute vintage looking ice cream parlor, conveniently right next to Verona park. Employees know what theyre doing and the ice cream is exceptionally good. No seating but I imagine most customers carry out anyway.

I want to give a big shout out to Lourie from The Town Scoop. We were house hunting in the area with our daughter and we treated her with some ice cream and ran into this local spot. Not only was the ice cream incredible but Lourie gave us some tips in the neighborhood and surprised our daughter with a discount coin and a quarter to use in the machine for a prize.
