They have a little bit of everything. Most impressive is the hardware selection as you can find pretty much anything both thread wise, length, and size.

Came in with a few questions about having a key made. Troy was helpful and answered all of our questions. He also encouraged us to come back if we needed any more help. He is an asset to your business with his friendly personality!

First time I came into the store was yesterday Black Friday. What a great store with superb inventory, I mean really superb. It is an ideal sized store too. The big boxes might be a tad cheaper but there hassle is not worth it. This is a great store.

Excellent customer service! I had two separate problems to troubleshoot this weekend. I was unsure of how to fix the issues and what hardware was required. I worked with Robert and Tom and they helped me through a complete fix. I highly recommend this store and these two staff members.

I rented a Honda Billy Goat aerator, very nice equipment. I like the not so crowded environment to check in and check out the equipment. However, some of the staff are new and could use more training on how to use the equipment. There was a few things that was not pointed out which would have saved effort and time in using the aerator. It is a very heavy piece of equipment so how better to use it would have been appreciated.

So glad that Verona has a hardware store again. This store is absolutely top notch. Super clean and organized. Thankful we have a non-big box option. Nothing better than a hometown hardware store and Verona Dorn never disappoints.

I was able to find what I needed but was able to wonder around for approx 5-10 minutes looking for what I needed until I found it, and get back up to the check out counter without seeing any staff members to even say hello to me. Not that big of a deal because I eventually found what I was looking for but having someone help me to make it go a little faster would have been nice. Other then that it was clean and mostly organized. Glad to have another store like this back in town.

Im a huge fan of the original Dorn stores-- Midvale and Oregon remain, as well as a fairly recently moved store in Sun Prairie. Some of the Midvale staff left to open this store.It looks about the same as it did when it was Ace, and thats not the bad thing. It doesnt have the charm of a hardware store thats been in the same location for 50 years. But it does have the same diverse selection, knowledgeable staff, and fair prices.Ill still go to the Midvale and Oregon stores as they are closer, but this is a great thing for the people of Verona. And Im sure it will gain some character with years.

My original review was wrong. I was thinking of the former occupants of the building. Ill have to visit the newly opened Dorn True Value soon.
