Took my 98 Toyota for some muffler work based on a suggestion from Perry at West Side Radiator (who is also great). Wayne was able to get it in and out within an hour and fixed just what was needed. While waiting the owner, Maurice, even took the time to push out a dinged bumper. Honest hard working auto mechanics...who charge a fair price.

This shop is a diamond in the rough, offering fair prices and honest estimates. They have what it takes to get the job done right. If you are sick of the way the fancier establishments spend your money, give Max Muffler a try. When I lived in the area, I brought them several foreign and domestic vehicles for repair, and had the job done right the first time, every time.

The guys at this shop truly know what they are doing and price their work very fair. I took my 40 year old plus truck to these guys and briefly explained the problem. Fixed 1-2 days later without replacing every single part along the way. They took the time to figure out exactly what the problem was rather than throwing hundreds of dollars at the problem until it was fixed. They also stuck with the estimate well and discussed a list of other things that should be fixed down the road (and even said they would prioritize them for me). Great place, I will be back and will recommend to everyone I know. They also take major credit cards and write up a detailed bill, unlike most smaller, non franchised businesses. Great experience, great staff!
