This Walgreens was amazing under the previous pharmacy management. 6 stars!! Macie was the BEST. Since she has left I’ve had nothing but trouble with the pharmacy. The wait at the drive through is 10 minutes at the window BEFORE they speak to you at times. I’ve so often gotten half my order, they haven’t gotten my medication, just one thing after another. Be prepared to wait 20-25 minutes in the drive through. There are a couple of techs that are great but by and large I’m afraid I’m going to have to find a different pharmacy after 15 years there. I even had a pharmacist lie to me about something- which I double checked with my doctor. Walgreens - please review the pharmacy management at this store.

Do not get your controlled medications filled here. They are continually out of a very widely used medication, and there is nothing I can do. I got this rx filled ONE time at another Vestavia location for the same reason. They were out of the medication!! So now I get to hope and pray I don’t go into withdrawals or end up in the ER until I speak to my Dr’s office in two days. DONT GO HERE!

The pharmacy staff at this location have been absolutely amazing. After even just a short while of moving into the area, they remember who I am always, and call when a prescription doesn’t look right.They really hustle there and manage to keep great customer service!

The pharmacy goes above and beyond, especially for a chain pharmacy.It usually has my medication in stock. Everyone is friendly.

I would not recommend this pharmacy. The pharmacy tech named Jennifer refused to give my grandson my prescriptions, while I was waiting in car with back pain. He said she was “rude as Hell.” So I went in to get my medicine and she told me “I don’t break the law!” It seems there is no law. She was rude to me, even walked off, refused to help me. A gentleman tech helped me. I appreciated his kindness!

This location cant be beat hardly. I use to go to the location in Gardendale but they suck today. Youll be waiting for ever both inside or drive through. Theres hardly a wait and the females working here are out-if-sight gays.

Usually quick pharmacy turn around on filling prescriptions and the drive thru is convenient. This locations is almost always well stocked and clean. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Great BOGO sales on products with the discount card.

Do not buy Walgreens generic otc drug brands! I was talked into buying their brand of ClaritinD. It does NOT work! After taking one pill and being absolutely miserable, I asked to return it and get the Claritin brand. No go. So now I have to 10 days to even get more since you have to sign for it. Being a severe allergy sufferer, this will pretty much make me sick. Thank you for endorsing an inferior product.

Called in a refill for my son at 5pm. Was told the prescription would take 15 to 20 minutes. I arrived at the location at 6:30 prescription not ready. An hour later the prescription had still not been filled. Then when it was they did not have enough medication.

They open at 7. I had the worst stomach pains once over night from acid reflux, and was able to go there early in the morning and get some meds super fast. Helpful staff.

Love coming here whether its to drive thru and pick up a script or popping inside to see if there are any good deals! Its nice and clean inside, and anytime I have been thru the drive thru it has been a pleasant experience! I love that the have milkbones for my dog whenever she gets to tag along!
