This is hands down the best liquor store in the area. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They are happy to look up anything they dont have and see if they can order it for you and be sure to follow them on social media for their latest additions.

I usually dont write reviews, but I wanted to share my experience at hilltop today.I went in there looking for a single barrel of four roses but the cashier said it was out of stock and asked me if I wanted to try their Single barrel private select Old Elk . I was hesitant to get it but the cashier convinced me to try it. I tried the old elk and I loved it. Also when I asked him about the timings he answered we are open till 11:00pm and handed me their business card, asked me to give a call just in case if I am ever running late so he can keep the store open for a while. I just loved the service provided to me and wanted to share my experience. Great staff! Great selection!

Hilltop liquor is a fantastic store with a great selection of beer and liquor. The staff is very friendly, and they have even ordered hard to find craft beers for me. If you are located in Vestavia or Birmingham, I highly suggest giving them a visit!

Great place ! I have tried to get my hands on eagle rare bourbon since so long. but yesterday i got a call from hilltop that they have bottle of eagle rare set aside for me! the staff here is very friendly . I also got a bottle of the four roses bourbon on the recommendation of staff. Me and my husband really loved it! great selection of bourbons !Must pay a visit!

This place is the best. It is so nice to finally have a liquor store next to Publix so I dont have to make multiple trips to get what I need to make a drink. The staff is SO friendly and so helpful. They clearly know their alcohol and gave great recommendations. They gave great local recommendations for Vodka and even gave us some samples of different things. This is my new place to get liquor! Also, as a young woman, I feel totally safe going in alone at night and it does not feel sketchy in the least bit.

I never write online reviews; however, in this case I was blown away. As a bourbon and a gin enthusiast, I am amazed at the selection that Hilltop has. The staff have been so friendly every time I have stepped into the store. Mikey was even able to help me locate a bottle of bourbon Ive been looking for 4 years! Now, thats service with a capital S.

Awesome new store here in Vestavia. Has one of the best bourbon selections in town and prices are reasonable for a non-state-store. Check these guys out. Bourbon enthusiasts definitely won’t regret it.
