Said an could do an ALH MTDI pump for me, Six weeks lead time.... 2 1/2 months later never contacted me, I did. Been being machined for 2 months. Liar.... He doesnt have the knowledge or capacity to do the job .... Avoid this place.

The entire staff was helpful. I purchased a used 1.6L Turbo Diesel along with some basic parts to replace. The new water pump they sent had a different pulley then the one on the motor, Thomas immediately sent the correct part out. He even paid for the shipping. I would recommend Quality German Auto Parts as an honest dealer.

I bought a used transmission for my Jetta here. It had a slight issue with reverse so I called them up and Thomas helped me out and sent me another one free of charge shipping and all. They were quick to take care of the warranty and really cool about it too. I would absolutely recommend and will be doing business with again!

Even though the piece they sent me was defective!!??The business end was the smoothest I ever dealt with with a online dealer.I mean the return part of it was smooth they even paid overnight shipping.And they refund popped up the same day. I guess I would try them again I hope they just test their parts first!!

I have to say Quality German Auto Parts is the best company i have ever worked with. When buying a used engine some times things go south and thomas understands that. After 1.5 months my engine went to poop. Thomas was a real class act He worked with me all the way threw the troubleshooting, never once blamed me for it, which is the first thing every other company would do. He ended up sending me a brand new rebuild when it was all said and done. You know no other company would do that. Thomas is very honest and a very valuable asset if you are doing a engine swap or conversion. I personally will buy all my Volkswagen parts threw Thomas, he treated me that well. AS far as the guy badmouthing Thomas i think he had a bad mechanic there are several places you can get oil in your coolant and if he would of worked with Thomas, he would not have had to buy a long block Thomas would have sent him one. If you are not mechanically inclined why in hell would you consider doing a engine swap any way???? ITS HARD TO FIND A HONEST MECHANIC SHOP STUPID!!!!!!!!

When I needed a new 2004 Jetta engine to replace a BEW engine whose turbo self destructed I searched for a week— over and over I found only ALH engines, rebuilt engines from companies with very poor reviews, and few very expensive new replacement engines. I elected instead to buy a used BEW engine with only 51,000 miles from Quality German Auto Parts. A great find! Installed easily, runs like a charm and the Jetta is back on the road in record time. I highly recommend this company, you’ll get a knowledgeable person on the other end of your phone call and they always have a great selection of engines with low mileage!

I purchased a rebuilt hydraulic cylinder head for a 1.6 diesel and a 5 speed manual transmission for the same diesel engine. Both parts are installed and working exactly as described.I will be doing more business with this company in the future.

I normally dont take the time to write a review but Thomas is hands down the most helpful person ive delt with on my VW journey. I purchased an engine three years ago. After a year went by, i realized id need a flywheel to do the swap. One was sent for free. Today (3 years later) i realize i need a coolant flange....again, sent for free.
