One of the easiest vehicle transactions I’ve ever experienced. Drove 2 hours to buy the truck I wanted and it was worth every minute. Entire process took 2 hours and then we were on our way! Our salesman, Jeidon, was phenomenal! Highly recommend doing business with this young man! We are keeping his number should we need a vehicle in the future! Keep up the good work!!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well I was treated by the manager, Avery, and the salesman Doan. They did an excellent job of taking care of my needs. The finance guy was also very nice and not pushy. I wound up getting GAP insurance even though it was reaching the limit on my budget. I should mention the Service guy, the one who sits at the first position as you enter the Service Department. He has always been a great help to me when I had issues with my Malibu. I live two hours from dealership. Over the phone sent the salesman my information got approved for the vehicle I wanted. He offered to put down-payment on it for me instead of running my card. He didnt and car was sold. When I got there I patiently waited for him to get what he had picked out for me. I drove it. Loved it to find out the payment would be more than I could afford. With him knowing my budget he should have never showed me the car.

My car’s instrument cluster failed and had to be replaced. Jason did a great job getting things lined up to be repaired and was helpful though the entire process. My issue is that when I picked the car up, the interior had greasy handprints all around the area that had been worked on and the door molding was not well attached. This morning while my wife was driving to work it fell off and will have to be brought back to reattach. We have had our car for a while, but have always kept it super clean. It has a tan interior. I understand that working on an engine is a dirty job, but to replace an instrument cluster shouldn’t be that dirty of a job. The mechanic should have washed his hands good before putting greasy hands on the tan cloth areas that he had to work on. Now these areas need to be cleaned by someone that knows how to get grease off of the interior.

Satisfied with the car. But the experience ehhh. Salesman seemed like he hardly even cared if we bought from them or not. We also did a tag transfer and they didn’t remove my car tag. After leaving it dawned on my husband we didn’t get the tag off my trade in and called right away. Told them to hold it and he’d comeback and get it on his day off since we live a good bit from the dealership. This was on 6/10/2021. My mother in law was in area a couple days later and said she’d pick it up. So we called and let them know she was coming to pick it up. Once she got there they said they didn’t know where it was and probably was in salesman desk (who was off) and that they’d mail it to us. Time went by and never received. I texted salesman 2 weeks ago and asked if it had been mailed and he said yes.Again…Never received. Then someone called and said the tag transfer was complete and we could put metal tag on vehicle. We told them we never received our tag to put on the vehicle!!! Again said they’d find it and put it in the mail. Still no tag. I got paperwork from DMV so I emailed the internet sales Kaysie, who we also corresponded with in the begin, a week ago and no reply back. What is the point in doing a tag transfer and to save time from going to the Court house for a new one if the dealership is not going to give you your tag or communicate with you? I guess now that the sell was finalized they don’t care about maintaining relationships nor finishing up their job.

I found what I wanted online. Most of the transaction was handled by text/phone. They were very easy to deal with.
We were pressured to buy an extended warranty and Im kind of glad that we did because we were sold a car with a bad alternator. It started acting up the very same week we bought it. We had to jumpstart it 5 times the first week. Long story short, by the time we made the SECOND payment it had been in the shop for most of that time because they said they were trying to get the extended warranty to pay what they were asking. It did finally get fixed(we hope because were fixing to make the third payment). I have a problem with the fact that while I know and understand we bought the car as is it should have been sold in complete working conditions. The mechanics should have done a better job making sure it was tip top and able to be sold. They shouldnt have sold it that way and since they did, they should have just fixed it and not made us to wait so long to get it back because they were waiting on the extended warranty. We have had it back almost 2 weeks and now the check engine light is on and its struggling to go up hills. Geesh. I will never buy another car there or recommend anyone to. Btw, its a newer car with only 55,000 miles on it . Its not like we bought an old clunker. Or did we???

Ive been here for over 2-1/2 hours for a scheduled oil change. The last time I was here ( more than 6 months ago) the service was OK, but today it is definitely subpar. I can get an oil change at Walmart (much) quicker and cheaper.
Service was great, people were nice, office was clean.I should not complain, but the last time I had my truck serviced they washed and cleaned it inside and out. This time they made a weak effort at a wash job, bugs on the grill dust on the floor and dash. I know it was free but if you are going to do it, DO IT!
Worst place to go if your taking your vehicle in for a trade. They informed me that I had to be current with my payments for at least 6 months okay I am. Then they told me I had to be current with my payments for a year before I could trade out okay I am. Upon wanting to trade out I wanted to trade down they informed me I couldnt do that. My vehicle was brand new from here I am not comfortable in it I wanted out of it in to something older from my current vehicle which I wanted a 2013 or possibly 2017 not a 2018 or newer model. Go someplace else especially if you dont want to be ripped off and lied to.

Was a busy little small town service department at 8:30 am on a Tuesday! A small town dealership is definitely not what I am use to being from a major city area..It was simple, clean and friendly enough....It took over an hour for my scheduled oil change.

I went in this morning to inquire about a safety recall on my vehicle and from the moment I stepped in, the man at the front desk, Joe, made me feel uncomfortable. Right away I knew he doesn’t like people like me as he made it known with his rude, dismissive tone and attitude. He is unprofessional and should be fired together with the people who keep him there. Black people! Take your money elsewhere, even better keep it in the Black community.

Amazing customer service! Have had to bring my vehicle in for a bad sensor, and then turn around and bring it back thr day after and then again the week after that. They have done a fantastic job getting to the route problem, even giving me a loaner car so I wouldnt be stuck sitting there all day. I live in Swainsboro and the Chevy dealership here wouldnt give me the time of day to see about my car. For the amazing service and workmanship that i have received at Paul Thigpen, i do not even mind the 30 mile drive! The servicemen at Paul Thigpen will get all of my business from here on out!!

Went there because of a truck on their website... Payments were so high...it was impossible... Was told that I could get a new car at the payments I could afford...and was promised by the salesman that when we went on vacation I could borrow a bigger vehicle...I said maybe I need to get this in writing but was assured that I would be able to get one... No writing necessary... Fast forward to vacation time... Under new management, no borrowing vehicles....these folks will tell you any kind of lies to get you to buy their vehicles.... I will never buy another vehicle from these liars...and I suggest you dont either.
Fair price. I had an oil change and tire rotation. They also do a 22-point inspection and they washed my vehicle at no charge.
Best service I’ve had in dealing with automotive repair! No plans to use anyone other than this dealership for all of my car service needs. They provided a loaner, fixed my car quickly - the 1st Time, repaired it at a great price, and called me and told me the problem and cost (I didn’t have to keep calling them for updates). Literally, the best service I’ve ever had!
Please don’t waste your time here. I needed a rim ordered and decided to go ahead and order 4 new tires. After almost two weeks the rim was “stuck in Charlotte.” They never called to update me and when I called several times they blamed it on the GM strike that ended in October. I called Franklin Cadillac in statesboro and got the rim and tires the very next day.
Tina was GREAT!!! Everything went smoothly, better than I could have imagined. It was not an all day process, which I appreciate, as I was coming from Augusta.
Had a 10 AM appointment for an oil change and it was a almost a 2 hour wait.

I asked that the dealership make a few repairs (reupholster seat with burn hole, new windshield wipers, exterior scratches on car) since they didnt want to come down on price. The car is 2017 16k miles. I couldve bought a brand new one for a couple thousand more.. They ended up keeping my car for 15 days. They fixed a major scratch on the back by replacing the whole bumper and I got new windshield wipers...... Still got the burn hole and a ton of other exterior scratches. The car is black and the scratches are white so it sticks out. I know black is hard to match but I wouldve been satisfied with touch up paint, as long as it doesnt look like theres bird poop all over my car. There was no communication from the dealership whatsoever. We had to call over and over. They gave us a date it would be ready but then when we called the day of we were told it would be a couple more days..
This isnt like other dealerships the service is really great. They care about the price you pay. Overall amazing!

Worst experience ever. I have been calling to try and get my tags. Its two months. My tags have expiredand now have to wait to get dealer tags again in order to get to work. I feel as though someone should have called me and explained what was going on because If I did not call i would have not known anything.
Waited 2 hours and twenty minutes for a simple oil change and tire rotation that I had a scheduled appointment for.
After an insulting experience at a different dealership, I came to Paul Thigpen Chevrolet of Vidalia (New Site). I was treated with respect, Friendly staff, made to feel at ease, low to no pressure to buy. The salesman who waited on me showed respect, but most importantly Listened to what I wanted in a vehicle. He did Not try to show me anything that I was not interested in, nor did he try to up sell into a vehicle I could not afford. We bought a used 2015 Lincoln Navigator and when we had issues after the sale the owner Paul Thigpen met with us and made sure our car was perfect. Oh and if you decide to check them out make sure to ask for Don S. he is awesome and will check in with you to make sure your happy.

I dont usually leave reviews but I dont think Ill ever visit this dealership again. I visited it 2 times to try to find a car. The first time they were so generous and tried to work with my budget. I dont have a super nice car to trade in but they told me they would give me $2,500 for my car. The payments were even in my range for a more expensive car than I had picked out the second time. The second time I went back and they told me they could only give me $1,000 for my car. & with a lower priced car for 6 instead of 5 years last time. Also my payments were way out of budget. Keep in mind the car I picked out the second time was cheaper than the first car. My trade in and down payment didnt seem to help at all. I was iffy about them doing a credit check bc I had to many already on there and only reason I let them is because I thought they could help me. But I was wrong. Im not saying they didnt help me a little because they did but I know they could of done better. Their prices are way to high. This is the first time me ever buying a car myself and I dont ever want to again. Its such a stressful and haggling experience. I liked the people but they wont try to help you get a better deal at all & go back on what they said.
Corey is a great service advisor and Batman is the only tech to work on my vehicles when Im up visiting from S. Florida.The alignment was less than an hour from the time I arrived to the time I paid. Best service and price.

🚮🚮 My vehicle was involved in an accident. My gap needed documents from them its now been two months still no documents. I have been calling and some of the staff talks to me like they are annoyed with me. Do they think I want to call everyday. They get the sale. But thats it. I brought 2018 model with a Rick Hendrick. I should have went to them first. Rick Hendrick in Duluth may be a better option they are great at follow ups. The staff is also friendly outside of the sale.Update: Comments from owner must only be a procedure done by anyone.Called back just to find out gm off on Mondays and person who im suppose to speak with is out sick. Waiting even longer for documents. I believe when I call tomorrow it will be another excuse 😒. 🚮

I enjoy going there to have my car serviced they treat my car with tender loving care and while Im there they offer me food and drink and gave me a free t-shirt I love going there they pamper me and its really feels nice thanks to everyone that helped me all the workers there in a very pleasant
Edited to add: After this review was posted, I reached out to the GM and was able to come to a solution. It was a day and night difference and almost completely painless on my end. I appreciate that they took their customer service review so seriously and were able to get this situation resolved.I purchased a car through Paul Thigpen Chevy in 2017. I recently sold said car and learned that I unknowingly purchased GAP coverage and an extended warranty. The dealership in KY I purchased my new car from advised me to contact PTC and ask about a refund. I contacted them initially on August 31 2019. I continued to try to contact and receive answers regarding my refund until September 12 when I finally spoke with the person who deals with the refunds. She gave me a dollar amount and said she’d send off the paperwork. It would take 5-7 business days before they would receive a check and then the owner would need to sign the check and THEN I could receive it myself. Now, it is October 7, 2019 and it has been 17 BUSINESS days. I have repeatedly reached out myself via email and voice. She has answered the phone very few times and only told me that she has no update but will call me if there is one. She has never once responded to an email or called me to let me know what’s going on. My husband is active duty Army stationed at Fort Campbell KY and it is not feasible for us to repeatedly come to Georgia so phone and email is our only contact. We are very frustrated. If the roles were reversed, we would’ve had to pay by now.
