BIG PLANET!!!!!!Off the chain!!! Its a shop that was recommend to me years ago but i just got around to going recently. I should have been going sooner. The new and recent comic issue selection is great! I seem to be able to get the issues that i want DAYS after they come out on Wednesday. And the back issue selection is awesome! I found some keys that Ive been searching for for a long, long time. They even have a nice short novel book section that is cool for young adults and little kids. They only need more comic supplies like boards, bags and boxes in stock but that doesnt take away from my 5 stars. Its a place where you should go if you need new releases without worrying that the folks who have subscriptions have gotten the titles you need.

Nice little comic shop, picked up a few graphic novels from the staff picks section and a few the freebies. Will return!

Totally ridiculous at this point to only offer curbside pickup. Its completely safe to have 1 associate and 1 customer browsing the store if both wear a mask. Wasted my time driving there. Good luck remaining in business much longer in this environment.

The young woman working the store was great, was helpful and didnt bug or follow me around the store with her eyes. Ive been in comic shops where Im either ignored or rushed out. She was great. Also love the way theyve expanded their back issues, plenty to browse through.

Great space thats quiet, reasonably priced back issues and a good number of recent issues. Not a huge selection of TBPs but Im usually not there for that. Staff attend pushy but will answer any questions.

Hadnt visited this shop in years and was pleasantly surprised. Great use of their limited space with properly displaying new issues and keeping an easily accessible section for back issues. Just bought a long box this visit which was fairly priced.

Big Planet Comics is a chain, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. If you are looking for a comic shop that will complete your pull list properly and you can be in and out in 5 minutes or less, this is your spot. There is just not much else there; obviously there are currents, some back issues and TPBs, but there isnt much that can grasp the customer, just because of the size and nature of the store. The staff is super friendly and they pretty much have all the new releases as you need them, but if you want any semblance of a real LCS, then i would look elsewhere.

Last remaining comic shop in Vienna. Great place for current books and graphic novels. They will help u hunt down what you are looking for as well. Great staff!

Big Planet is the best place to get new comics, and the best option for setting up subscriptions. They have a great selection, and a great staff as well. They really know how to take care of their customers. Its a trip for me, but its awesome. If youre looking for new comics, this is the best place Ive found in Northern VA.

This place is everything you want in a comic book shop! Well stocked, with friendly and out going staff. They are quick to engage in a conversation and know just the right comics to recommend. I always feel welcomed even when loaded down with my crazy 3 yo twins :)

One of the best comic stores on the East Coast. Excellent, diverse selection with a focus on young readers and women. My wife is also a huge fan. Staff is very friendly and kind.

Impressive selection of small press and alternative comics.They have started carrying a very impressive selection of back issues since my last visit a few years ago.Only Big Planet location with decent back issues at this time.

Small, unassuming, but one of the best comic book shops Ive been to. They have a large and well curated collection of independent comics. Plenty of scifi and nonfiction. And if you need recommendations, youre in for a treat.

The best comic shop. Huge, well-presented, well-organized inventory. Friendly, smart, knowledgeable staff (especially Kelly). Found it when I lived in Vienna. Now I dont, but I still trek in from Herndon rather than shop for comics anywhere else.

Went there twice. Guy was walking out so didnt speak with him, but the girl was there and She was very friendly. I have an 4 out of 5 cause they didnt really have back issues and I tried to snag 3 of a certain book, but she told me policy only allows 2 per customer, so I wasnt able to corner the market. Went back the second time to see if I score a few more, Damn! She was still there so i didnt even bother. The guy was there and he was pretty friendly also. NEED MORE BACK ISSUES
