A nice little store where the locals shop. They have everything you need at half the price of the restaurants. People are so nice in this neighborhood. We were looking at the mangos on the tree next to the store and a lady came to give us a bag of free mangos. Get your ice, beers, ice cream, chips, etc. it also has a bathroom.

This little store is the saving grace of Esperanza! Without this establishment, one would be forced to spend a lot more money on essentials. Visitors here in Vieques are basically a captive audience, so price inflation is the natural reaction for any business. But this store is not only fair, but extraordinarily so! Despite its size, the inventory is amazing.Special Note: The hours are not posted, but generally the store opens around 7-7:15am...so...good coffee awaits anyone staying in Esperanza. However, they close later in the afternoon. If they are closed in the afternoon, another store around the corner opens up. Decent prices but super slim inventory. Also, if you visit during the week, be sure to stop by on Wednesdays for fresh fruit. And in your way out, be sure to say hello to the wild horses munching off the Mango tree next to the store...

Convenient store in Esperanza. Avocados and bananas arrive on Wednesday. Prices are somewhat higher than the supermarkets.
