Always a great experience going to this comic shop. Owner always has the things I need or want ready for me. I would recommend this store to anyone.

During a quick visit to Chicago, I decided to stop into this place and was sure glad I did. The staff was very friendly. I found their selection to be quite expansive for a store that doesnt seem all that large. Compared to other used bookstores Ive visited, I found their prices to be extremely reasonable. Will definitely visit again if I happen to be in the Chicago area.

The books are always high quality. Excellent selection of brand new books and classics of all genres. They also have a selection of CDs, DVDs, and they use part of their store to physically stock Cheap Kiss Records inventory. They do offer a good vinyl selection, some cassettes and 8 tracks, and the odd LaserDisc or two. They do accept donations as well, if you are looking to pass on some books/media. Cannot recomend this store enough.

A great little bookstore. Lots of newer books, reasonably priced. They have chairs scattered here and there around the store so you can sit and have a read.

The staff was very helpful in helping me look for a book that was not in a common section. She was very patient with me and truly helped me solve my puzzle. Thank you so much for having staff that cares about the customer.

The first time I visited Cornerstone Used Books was with my 3 baby sisters (10, 8, and 7). We all found books we couldnt wait to read and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be regulars.

The store has moved 3 doors down. Much bigger space! More books, more space, easier to browse. I feel like Im in a mini-Borders with friendlier service and better prices!!

Whats not to love in this place? A quirky, local bookstore with a healthy selection, friendly staff, and reasonable prices! Stir in an amazingly liberal trade-in program and youve got yourself the best independent bookstore in the area!

Huge selection of used books. I particularly liked perusing the cookbooks and health-related shelves today. They have a wide variety available.

A really nice selection of literature and a bunch of other very cool things.. They purchase used books as well.

Great store with good prices! I have been a customer for years and found many great reads, from horror to fantasy to historical reference. Lately I go mainly for their record section (which is technically a different store so you cannot use credit there). They definitely have the best record selection in the area with a lot of classic rock, funk, ambient, whatever you like. I come for their progressive/psychedelic stuff, which they always have a lot of. Last time I was there, for example, they had everything from Yes to ELP to Genesis! One problem they have which is cimminent to small record stores is really overpricing the popular Classic Rock albums by at least 5 dollars or so.

A classic example of the privately-owned used book store, Cornerstone is an amazing treasure tucked away in Villa Park. With a huge collection ranging from pulp scifi paperbacks to gorgeous hardcovers, theres something for every book lover here.
