Needed an oil change for my sisters car before she headed back to college. Everyone was really nice and advised on additional service along with their opinions on when it should get done. Not pushy at all. Everyone is local and real chicago character. Will be back soon.

My wife has utilized this business twice. The first time she went she had a pleasant and overall good experience which is why she decided to go back as a return customer. However, today it was a totally different experience as she dealt with a very rude and unprofessional manager named Steve.My wife had a check engine light that she requested a diagnostic for and specifically for the codes that are in the cars computer as she has been having problem with the traction control system on her car.After pulling the code Steve simply told her what the code description was which is not helpful if we want to do some more research on the repair that is needed. Additionally my wife is not a mechanic so how is she to know exactly what Steve is talking about. So my wife then asked one of Steves technicians if she could come back at a later time and get the diagnostic again with the codes so we know exactly what we need to get repaired and the technician kindly told her yes. Upon hearing this exchange Steve became very annoyed and angry and starts yelling for no reason at my wife.I thought that for a service business, when the customer pays for the full cost of service that they have the right to ask questions and receive comprehensive service. I guess this doesnt apply for Sooper Lube.That being said my wife and I WILL NEVER patron this business again and now we will be on a personal crusade to draw away as many customers as absolutely possible. I will be contacting the Villa Park Chamber of Commerce and the Village as well with a formal complaint.

I have had the oil changed in all my cars at sooper lube for the last 28 years. Steve the owner has always been honest and fair. I have also had mechanical work done their as well. No complaints! Just had my trans service done. Steve ordered the special trans fluid required by manufacturer warranty. Dave did the work. Excellent job!!!! Forget going to the dealer go to Sooper Lube!!

Visit with confidence - this shop is the real deal. I took my 15 year old Jeep (which admittedly has seen better days.....MUCH better days) to Sooper Lube Villa Park a few days ago. They took such good care of my car, even though others have written my wheels off as irredeemable. An hour later I was back on the road, ready for my next Jeep adventure! Simply outstanding, just came for an oil change but it was clear that they were not interested in any up charges. Changed my oil and I was good to go! Definitively going to be coming here in the future.UPDATE - After the pandemic, came back today and got my oil changed. I told them I think I may need a new air filter. The owner Steve, a great guy, told me I didnt need one yet, it was all good. He simply could have told me I needed a new one and I would have believed it. The best customer service and people, I would never go anywhere else!

This is and has been my go to place for probably 15 years. They wont gouge you. They wont lie. Great people. I strongly suggest using this as your main mechanic. Even just oil changes. This is a real mechanic. Not a bunch of teenagers working on your car.

Stopped in for a quick oil change the manager helped me up front he was very polite and had a great attitude.I asked if any of my belts needed to be changed. He was very honest with me instead of trying to just sell me something.This place is a bit of a drive for me, but I will definitely be doing my business from here on out.

It was my first time there. The old man guiding me in was extremely rude before even starting my oil change. I just pulled right back out and left. Learn how to treat new customers or fire that guy.

Got my ac charged and they charged 83 dollars. I got jipped ac runs fine which is the only reason this isnt one star. Never coming back, go to j1 auto on main street instead, way better.

Awesome, honest, great guy who runs the place. My car always runs so smooth after an oil change there. I asked about getting the most expensive oil since my car is older, and has higher mileage. He DOWN SOLD me to a less expensive oil because it was better for the car. Had no interest in making money off me. Was more interested in honest, excellent service. There is no good customer service anywhere anymore. It is so nice to find it somewhere. We drive from Downers Grove to go to this place, and my husband who grew up in Villa Park has been going to them for years.

I’ve had tons of work done here on my Cadillac from completely new brakes to oil changes and Sooper Lube does consistently good work. Steve will always help you if he can, they work fast and are fairly priced. As a young woman who knows nothing about cars, I always feel taken care of here and not like I’ve been taken advantage of.Unfortunately I no longer live in the area but I still make the trip out to the shop for any work I need done!

Good fast service for oil change. Not best price but fair for the service you are getting and better than most oil change places. Everyone seems to be working together to get the job done right and fast. Friendly workers and very clean waiting area. I trust the work and enjoy the quick service. I havent had any other services done so I can comment on that.

Incredible service. I asked for a basic oil change and that’s what I got. No upselling, no pressure of any kind. My van was done in about 6 or 7 minutes from the time I parked it to payment. My Dad always said a successful business has an owner who is present. The owner is there and works the counter. I told him when I paid that he had excellent reviews. He thanked me and replied that he hasn’t advertised for 35 years. Truly, a business like this doesn’t need to. His customers do that for him. Great!

This place is great and I cant believe it took me this long to write a review. I have been coming here ever since Jiffy Lube broke my car a few years ago and wanted to try something new. Everyone here is so friendly and they never overcharge or add anything if you dont want it. They are extremely fast and the last time I went in, one of the workers added some spray in my door to stop it from squeaking no charge. He was a blonde guy with a hat. Cant say enough about this place Ill always come back.
