Was able to find everything I was looking for and employees were very nice and helpful! They greeted me when I walked in and thanked me for shopping there. Very clean and organized, I will definitely be back!!!!!

Extremely disrespectful employees. It was my first time in this store and will definitely be my last. I was accused of making a mess by simply walking through the store and then yelled at for “laughing” when I simply walked away. The man told me I could leave his store and I honestly wish I would have. Absolutely horrible experience!

Huge Dollar Tree store - biggest one Ive seen this far. Plan to spend time looking up & down all the aisles - you will find items other Dollar Trees do not sell. Youll also find some items other Dollar Tree no longer stock.

Train your employees to greet all customers entering the store and stop being selective to whom you greet.

They remodeled so I guess it LOOKS a little nicer, but I think they did it because the staff couldnt see people when they were to the left of the entrance. Their app is a little misleading about coupons, however the app does offer a scanner to add up your purchases and apply coupons so you see your total, and what coupons will be applied before you even check out. The store offers name brand items at a discount, I noticed a lot of things were probably here due to packaging errors.Its a dollar store, its pretty much what youd expect, however the app offers a few extra perks.Oh, and every sunday (or weekend?) Youll get $5 off any purchase over $25-30

The customer in front of me white female appeared to be 57 years old and the customer behind me black female appeared to be 30 years old were not wearing mask during the pandemic in the state of Illinois. I was told by the hispanic cashier that appeared to be 20 years old wearing a mask said her company instructions was not to say anything to them about the law because a fellow employee was shot by someone for that same reason. There are signs posted telling us to wear them. My experience was a two 🌟 but I will only be able to rate you all a one star sorry....I dont want to die for shopping there.

This is a great place to go if you need to get vitamins. They seem to go on sale frequently but even when you have to pay full price it is still a great deal.

Pretty standard as far as Dollar Generals go. The only complaint I have was the unorganized shelves and racks in some sections making it an overwhelming and difficult task to see what is available, sort through sizes, and find specific varieties (clothes, bags, nail polish, craft supplies, etc). Overall a good trip. We left with more than we originally were looking for.

Had everything I needed. Cashier Liz was quite friendly and very helpful. Will shop there again.

Okay for basic needs

The store is extremely cluttered.. piles of stock at the end of every aisle. A little disorganized ultimately I found what I came in for. The cashier was extremely friendly. The store could definitely use some tidying up though!

Employees are very nice and helpful. Store can be disorganized at times with new supplies in middle of the aisles causing tripping hazards or not being able to get your cart through the aisle.

Ok so basically every DG Ive shopped has had the same lack of organization and employee knowledge on product location. I got what I needed, but I had to search all the isles and shelves myself. I imagine that locating a needle in a haystack is probably an easier achievement! Avoid if you are in a hurry!

Like Ohio Fl &Chicago they have moved to west subburbs however this is the only one Ive see thous for in the area think they will also. Be close down only. Me opion they should be shut down

So I attempted to go to your Villa Park Store #08045 last night 10/22/16 as I just needed 3 items before they closed. I got there at 9:54 PM but found the doors locked & they were closed. The sign on door said 10 PM & a associate just looked at me but then walked away. I even double checked Google on my phone & it said closing soon so I knew my time wasnt wrong. I wonder what time they actually locked the doors? I have been in retail for many years & I know for a fact if my DM ever heard that I locked the doors even 1 minute early without his approval he would of had my Job. Plus I would & could never do that to my loyal customers. If we closed at 12 am then Im leaving doors open till then. I know its probably petty me doing this but like I said I only needed 3 items & was in a pinch, but instead I was inconvenienced when I had to go back home instead. I dont want the employees written up or anything but I think they should be made aware that this is not good customer service to practice this. I could even understand if there was a sign saying emergency & we needed to close or etc. Thanks for taking the time to read this Ron.

Staff is incredibly rude, especially the short Hispanic guy. Both times Ive been there the store has been a total mess, things are thrown everywhere. Do yourself a favor and go to a different location because between the crappy staff and the dirty store, its not worth it to shop there.
