Dr. Pernelli is an awful person, just ask the people who work for him. Just go down the street to his competitor and save yourself the trouble. Terrible establishment.
My first visit and I was impressed . Best eye exam Ive ever had. I had a concern about my left eye and it turned out to be a bacteria from severe dry eyes. (Both eyes were checked ) I have no insurance and only needed lenses, which I felt were over priced . Everyone was kind and professional.
Rude people on the phone I will take my busines somewhere else! I would give em zero stars if available!
Very nice employees i take my grandmother here to get here eyes done and they are always respectfull to her.
Ok where do I begin. I’m 45 yrs old and have been using glasses since I was 8. I’ve NEVER had a problem with glasses or a prescription not being right. I went to see Terrance K. Heacox, Jr., OD back in March and unbeknownst to me that’s where all my problems began. First he does my eye exam and tells me not to get my bifocals at a Lens crafters because they don’t always make them right. He said that if I wanted he was having someone (I forget what her name is ) open starting in a week that could fit me for glasses etc. I did just that. I got my glasses and mind you no discounts of any kind and the total was $849. I got the worst possible headache ever and mind you I could not see clearly when driving, reading or watching tv unless I turned my head to the 2 o’clock position. I called the office and was told I just needed to get used to them but yet I had a feeling that wasn’t the case. I was given another appointment, paid another copay and was given a script again but the prescription in my left eye was reduced. Had new lenses made or at least I think I did. New glasses came in and though I did notice the prescription was a bit better, I still had to turn my head to the 2 o’clock position to see clearly. I went back and told the lady that does the measurements for the glasses and she said what she can do is change the measurements a bit to see if that helps. Today October 3 2018 I get my glasses again and she tells me hopefully everything is good because they cannot make the lenses again without charging me. Well first of all the mistakes have not been on my end so why the hell would I pay for a mistake that has been made by the professional? I told her that I wouldn’t be paying for anything because the error has been on their end not mine and I left the office with my glasses and told her I’d give the glasses a try for a good week or so. Mind you I still CANNOT see clear when looking straight ahead, I still have to turn my head to the 2 o’clock position. I’m about to go get another eye exam and fitting elsewhere because it just seems someone in this office does not know what they are doing and I don’t have another $849 to spend on glasses that are useless to me. One thing is for sure and that is that if I do get another eye exam and new glasses and it turns out that Heacox or the eye glass chic made the mistake, trust I will be seeing one of them in a small claims court. I will NEVER again get an eye exam or glasses here and anyone that asks me about this office I will make sure they go elsewhere because for an eye doctor that was so persistent I not go to another facility to get glasses because they will mess up my glasses, it sure turns out it was the other way around.Sincerely,HectorUpdate 10/4/2018Went to the office and spoke with Lauren the girl that did my measurements. Long story short went elsewhere to get measurements and the issue is that the measurements done are incorrect. This is NOT Dr Heacox’s fault however he should be more aware of whom he has working for him. Waiting to see what they are going to do about this issue.Lauren called and said they will remake the lenses free of charge. Waiting on new lenses. Though they have done the right thing and corrected their error, it’s safe to say I’ll never go back nor recommend this office to anyone.
