Bought 4 guns from them; 2 riffles, 1 shotgun, 1 handgun. I was able to have found them there during the height of the firearm supply issues. The price was very good and I got exactly the ones I was on my must have list. Also, the staff was very helpful with their guidance with a first time gun owner. thank you.

Alex and his team are great! Customer service is VERY important to me and I can’t say I’ve always been greeted “warmly” by other retailers. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable and their prices and inventory are fantastic!

Mine are to big for her to shoot at the range. So we got her not 1, but 2. The reasoning is the staff, their knowledge and patience with her as a customer in these crazy times. Bought a new 357, the grips had scratches on it had to get the gun cleaned and buy a new pistol grip, were expensive but dont mind to pay a little more but wanted a gun that was not all scratch. And the older gentleman very rude with customers .including me. I will stick to buying from the bigger guys .its a shame trying to keep small businesses alive in America but they just make it hard.

Absolutely the friendliest, helpful people. I tried Butchs first. Not a good vibe. Walked into the Gun Rack and immediately was acknowledged. They took the time to explain everything to me. As a new gun owner thats important. Went back and once again explained everything about the revolver I purchased. I will only go to them from now on.

They treated me like family. I showed up in the middle of a Saturday afternoon after a day at the range. My shotgun had malfunctioned. A piece broke out and I had no idea how to fix it or what to do. I called around immediately to see if any gun shop or place that sells firearms would be able to even take a look at it or answer a question. Nobody would even give me the time of day. Nobody was willing to help or answer a few simple questions unless I was buying ammo from them or a firearm. All I heard was “we are too busy”. A friend at the range recommended the Gun Rack. So on my way home I stopped by and took a gamble.I waited outside in line. After a little while someone came out and asked how he could help everybody. When he came to me I simply said I need help and I don’t know what to do. He looked at my shotgun and the pieces that I took apart. He took the time to try to put it back together and diagnose the problem. When he wasn’t able to, he brought it inside for the “boss” to take a look at it. An hour later the “boss” fixed my gun, educated me on what I did wrong in the most non-judge mental way anyone has explained something to me, and told me to bring it back and he’ll fix it if it’s still experiencing a problem. These people did all of that on a busy Saturday while the phones were ringing off the hook, people waiting in line for background checks and ammo, and the millions of other things that were going on.What meant the most to me was the fact that someone was willing to help during my emergency. What was more astonishing was when he finished, I asked what do I owe for your time. The man simply said “nothing “. It’s all set to go. Another man who worked there said just have a merry Christmas.It’s difficult to find good honest genuine people in this world. That kind of unselfishness and willingness to help another person when it’s obvious they need help, restores my faith in humanity. The kindness and patience given to me today will make me pay it forward. I will purposely look to help someone and make someone else’s day because of what the people at The Gun Rack did for me. Ive purchased several guns from them. They generally have a great selection of both new and used guns. Their prices are reasonable and usually cheaper than other local shops. Occasionally Ive found a better price by $10-15 but theyve always given me great service and I thinks its worth it.

This IS the best gun store in south jersey! Everyone and I mean Everyone there is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable!!! Hospitality is top on their list,they all make you feel at home. I was in there one day and they had pot of soup on and Tony invited me to eat. You just dont meet good people in business like this anymore. When I first in went to purchase a handgun the owner told me that the NICS check would take 3 days because he stays on top of them and checks on the status if he hears nothing. Thats crap! Its now been over 8 days and still waiting. I purchased a long gun AFTER I initiated the pistol purchase and got the process status 3 days later. This place didnt even submit my NICS check the day I paid cash for the gun... They waited 5 days and then told me it would be about 5-8 days because the NJSP were backed up. Liars. Im sure the state is overwhelmed but these guys didnt even submit my check when they said they did. After 3 days of no response they can release it. They say the law changed. No... It didnt. Go to Butchs instead... Theyre upfront BEFORE they take your cash!
