Went to their Virginia Beach branch to have my 5-channel amplifier and subwoofer installed, and I was impressed by the customer service provided by Drew, which is priceless. Gave me advice and options on how the setup would work best. I highly recommend this shop.

Im very disappointed with the service i received at the Virginia Beach Blvd AudioOne. I first came in the the chesapeake location and received a lot of help from them try to address a problem that i had going on. We tried a few things that did not work and came to the conclusion that I needed a ground loop isolator which they did not have in stock. He was very helpful and told me that i was able to get it in another location or bestbuy. So i go in today at the virginia beach location and buy the part which is 3x the price of what it is online unknowingly. I was told it may or may not fix my issue so i asked if it did not work if i could bring it back in i was given a flat “no”. Turns out it didn’t work and now i’m stuck with this part i paid for way over price. Safe to say i won’t be dealing with you guys again.

Audio One is the Best!!!!I dropped my truck off yesterday morning to get a complete viper system installed and it was done by 3pm. These guys did an excellent job!Big shout out goes to Chris and Jeff for getting this installed neatly and professionally, tucked out of site, and staying open late for me to come pickup my truck!!Customer service is great and turnaround time is amazing!This is definitely the place to take your vehicle for audio, lighting, or alarm/remote start needs.

During a road trip, the radio in my Mazda 3 stopped working all of a sudden. I was able to get an appointment with Audio One the very next day. They ran a diagnostic check and swiftly fixed the problem within the same day. I was on my way home with my favorite tunes bumping in NO TIME! Audio One is professional and has EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I highly recommend and will definitely be back should any future audio challenges arise.

These guys are pros. No upselling was very surprising. I was practically begging to spend more but met with you do not need that and/or lets see how this works for you, then talk about adding something in relation to audio install and accessories.Professional staff, even opened early with a crowd waiting outside for service.Fast times with the install, ahead of schedule. I needed Apple Car play in my sons car to allow better navigation and make it safer. Audio One helped me pick the best one for his Toyota and did the install, even staying late to make sure everything was perfect. It was a birthday present for him and he was very excited. These guys are the Chick-fil-A of Audio. Very professional, store is spotless. The installation that was done was even better than I hoped for. They installed an OEM stereo but I kept all the factory functions (steering wheel controls). And added a few bells and whistles that made the system sound even better.Look they are not cheap, but sometimes you get what you pay for. I am very happy and will go back with all of my audio needs.

Great experience here at Virginia Beach audio one had some problems with a previous shop in Norfolk doing an install and they cut corners and did not install my equipment right brought it to audio one and josh took care of me and they did a great job and I’m back sounding loud again didn’t try to over charge me either. Learn from my experience guys and get the job done right u get wat u pay for I will from now on have audio one do all my audio work thanks guys

David Martire and the staff at Audio One, Virginia Beach did an OUTSTANDING job on the stereo install, security system install, center console rebuild and truck build, LED lights, etc, for my 1969 Cadillac DeVille. I went in sat down with David and told him what I was looking for and he took my design idea to the next level. I also had LED gauges that I needed to have installed and the guys also installed those. Im happy with everything. These guys are really a ONE-STOP shop. I had been trying to figure out which shop to take the car to for this work and Im glad I took it to these guys. If youre truly looking for a quality shop that thinks outside the box, this is your place. I live in Northern Virginia and had to bring the car all the way to Virginia Beach to get what I consider to be quality work done.They did a phenomenal job and I will definitely be going back to these guys to get other stuff done!!!

Went into the store having problems with an aftermarket radio harness and ended up talking to the owner. He helped me in every single way he could, never tried selling me anything I dont need and even told me to isolate the problem even further before buying something for no reason. Best customer service I have ever received from an audio shop, and will be coming back in the future.

I called up here and asked for a price to install 4 6x9s, one in each door, I was told it would be 110 per speaker and the guy highly recommended some sound deadening, which would bring it to 125 per speaker, 500 dollars to install 4 speakers which could be done in less than 2 hours. I think that price for just the labor is insane!!! Another shop told me 60 per speaker, not sure why these guys are over charging for a simple speaker instal.

I brought a gwagon here to install audio equipment. The equipment was poorly installed with exposable wires under the seat. Also the voltages from the equipment cause shortages in the car causing this vehicle not to start. Bad service

These guys are amazing!!! Called them up 3 hours before closing to see if they can install a set of speakers. They said come on in and sure enough even if it was closing time they stayed back and finished up my car! Thank you guys!

BLUF: Great customer service and top notch work. I had went to the Newport News location for work and long story short the service and work was sub-par. I sent an email to Audio One HQ and the owner called me a couple hours later. He went out of his way to help me out and make things right. I was extremely happy with not only the work but the customer service. If you want deliberate work ending with crisp and clear sound with the bass sounding as it should, trust Audio one Virginia Beach with the job. I will absolutely be going back.

The entire staff was great. Got a Bluetooth touch screen installed and it only took about an hour before my car was ready. Very professional and fair prices as well. Highly recommend.

This place has no respect for poeple time, i made an appointment and sat there for an hour and a half before i went to the desk and ask for my key. I WILL NEVER COME BACK !!!!

Ordered some subs and amp for my truck and was told it was going to be in 2 weeks tops. Had to cancel with them after waiting A month and a half for my stuff come. Never called for updates nor heads up.Never apologized for any inconvenience so I went to sound wave customs with a much more professional and friendly environment and got the job done within a week.

Jeff and the entire staff do a great job on my Harley Davidson Street Glide Special. Getting ready to have them upgrade my radio unit. They installed Rockford Fosgate amp along with front and rear speakers.

I came in to have my back up camera looked at. It was purchased at another place and installed here. They worked things out even though it wasn’t their fault about the camera. They provided great service, great prices, and made me feel confident. They provide excellent customer service. I highly recommend them.

We just had a remote start put in the car on Thursday by Drew and his associates. We called around noon and they were able to install it that afternoon. They are efficient, knowledgeable, and do excellent work. They are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. We recommend this service to everyone.

Walked in to buy my first brand new stereo system I years. Josh didnt even hesitate to pile up the best equipment for my truck. Hes been the most helpful salesman after the fact as well.

Audio One is excellent! My toddler shoved quarters into our vans CD player and the dealership said they could only replace the entire unit which would cost over $3K. Jeff at Audio One listened, treated me with courtesy and respect, and the staff had those quarters out in under two hours for only $60! I highly recommend Audio One!

Came in as a walk in and got service. They were able to get to my car that day. They only have one person up front and I belive one or two people in back, which may increase your wait time when things get busy. Overall they did there job for a decent price.

The customer service here is unmatched!!! The products are top of the line!!!I was looking to get a remote starter installed on my brand new vehicle. I visited other car audio stores in the area and received terrible customer service. Many other stores had a Used car lot mentality. They were just trying to sell me the most expensive product with no care for what I wanted.Once I stepped foot into this store and saw how nice it looked I instantly got a good feeling. I was promptly approached with a smile and a greeting. Next I was asked questions that led me directly to the product I needed (not the most expensive). Then it was an easy transition to the counter to get my information and keys. This was followed by an installer taking my keys and moving my car to the bay to start the work. I received a phone call a couple hours later and returned to pick up my car. I looked over the beautiful pristine install they had done and I paid and was on my way.This is the only audio store in the area I would recommend for anything aftermarket for your vehicle. I wish more businesses would have this high end level of customer service and quality of work.

I have never written a review on anything before, ever in my life. But I am taking the time out today to report such poor service with the subwoofer that was installed. It literally caught on fire and I witnessed my friends hand catch fire. If u do not wish to have your vehicle catch fire avoid this shop.

Came here on a Friday afternoon after work and my radio was completely shot! They took a look at it and within a few minutes they figured the radio was the culprit so I had a couple options which they informed me about and unfortunately didnt have the radio that orginally came out of my car but upgraded me for a heavily discounted price, installed it, came across some other issues I knew about previously and fixed that at another nice discount, all in all I was here maybe an hour and left with a new stereo, all previous issues resolved, installed and bumpen and they negated the original tech price because I had them do it here and walked out with a bill under 200 dollars, Im happy!

Took my truck in to get amp installed. Already bought amp wiring kit from amazon. (Rockford fosgate wiring kit) after 5 hours they finished everything else seemed fine but installed some cheap wire from the amp to the box. Maybe scrap they had from another install because it was to short so they spliced another piece on and still pulled out 3 times before I pulled more into the back and then instead of running two different runs they ran one and spliced and ran to the other sub. The wiring kit I bought came with 30 feet of speaker wire that I dont even think was used.

Dont get me wrong the customer service was great only reason why I gave a 3 is because of the prices I went in there for a certain radio and a price on parts and labor with the radio and everything came out to like three hundred and something dollars then I look up somewhere else and got the same exact radio parts and labor for like 240 out the door the people in there were very nice and helpful its just that Im the type of person that likes a good bargain for my money thats the only reason why I gave a three other than that everything else was cool I still recommend those who will pay those prices to go there

I had previously posted a lower rated review. The manager of audio one called me today and we got the situation fixed. Turns out that it was all just a big misunderstanding. The call was very professional and polite. It certainly turned around my thinking and I will definitely go back and shop again at their location.

Stopped in to ask a question about my factory speakers. Drew greeted me at the door and immediately felt good about the place. This isn’t the place to just slap a set of speakers in and send you down the road. They were serious about spending time understanding my system and making sure we accurately diagnosed the problem and came up with options to fix it. Drew recognized me and called me by name when I showed back up the next morning. The guys in the back were professional and very knowledgeable. These guys are serious about sound and customer service. Spend money with people you trust. I highly recommend these folks for car audio and more!

Craig helped me pick out new stereo system for my 16 old daughter which included back up and forward cameras for safety. very knowledgeable!

Got a new radio put in my truck as well as window tint. The window tent had to be redone on one of the windows because of a huge spot where it was cut and didnt cover the window at all. The radio draws power when off to the point that the truck wont run even with an upgraded alternator ( which I had to install because of the radio) it also has ground noise. Ive taken it back there multiple times and they say its not on their end and they cant find any issues with the radio. Eventhough when I pull the fuse for the radio the truck runs fine and Ive been driving with no radio simply because i dont want to deal with this company again. Strongly recommend going somewhere else for work like Im doing.

They do quality work and let you talk to the actual installer, which saves potential headache. They aren’t cheap, but in today’s world you get what you pay for, and I feel that I got an excellent install for the price.

Had a nice experience here,Zack and his team took care of my needs with no hassle.My sound source and speakers were installed in about 2 hours .....a quality job for the right price.

I came here to have SiriusXM plug and play installed. They did install it but neglected to offer the FMDA cable. So when I figured out what was wrong I went back and they said the price of the part plus $50 install fee. If I had the cable installed at the time of the unit it would be no additional charge. So after $115 install they want an additional $50. I went to Best Buy and they said their install fee is $80. So I was definitely overcharged and feel ripped off.

I am writing a bad review about the Audio One location on Virginia Beach Blvd. because the service was not good & people need to know. I spent over $1,800 on a top of the line Kenwood stereo & since day one there was background noise. They said they would order me a special cable and maybe that would solve the problem. Well, after about 3 months, 10 phone calls, and stopping in 4 times, the cable never arrived. So, I gave up on Audio One and went to a different company, Dynamic Car Audio, located in Virginia Beach Rd on Damneck Rd. They miraculously fixed the problem in 15 minutes for $20 and there is no more background noise. I love the Kenwood radio now, but I will never buy from Audio One again. Their service is incompetent & they really just dont care about satisfied customers.Dynamic Car Audio is who I recommend

Went to AudioOne and the guy seemed real nice. Told me he could set me up with a radio for $450, including labor and parts. Went home and was going to come back later. Talked to him on the phone before heading back and he said we were good to go and that he could get it installed within an hour. Then I drove all the way back and he suddenly decided the $450 radio wouldnt fit in my car and that I needed to buy the $750 radio. I gave up and headed to Ragen car audio and he showed me the same exact radio that the gentlemen here at Audio One originally offered me. He said the radio would fit perfectly and that the guy was just trying to screw me over. He matched the price of $450 and put the radio in within a half hour.

A gentleman named Jeff helped me today get my wiring harness corrected and all i can say is thank you Jeff. Youre the man!
