Excellent, fast service, great price. I was the 5th in line first thing on a Friday morning and they replaced my rear brake pads, fixed my parking lights, and inspected my car in less than an hour! The service was excellent, everyone was friendly. I have found my new favorite automotive place.

They do good quality work at a reasonable price. You have to come very early as they are busy and fill up fast. I got my AC fixed and broken sensor changed.

Great service. Totally honest in all that they do. Very reasonable prices. Only thing preventing 5 stars is that they dont make appointments. They want you to show up at 7am and either leave your car or wait. I dont do 7am.

My boyfriend and I were traveling from PA, pulling our camper. We were staying in the Virginia Beach area. We realized that we had a bad U Joint on the Truck. We found Beach Automobile Service near the camp ground we were staying at. They were extremely helpful and friendly. They were able to get are truck fixed and we were back on the road finishing out are vacation and not missing a thing. We really appreciated all that they did for us and the great work they did, and at a great price.

Very impressed with the service and speed I recieved this morning. They did not nickel and dime me over costs. I saw two of the mechanics helping to push a stranded car of the road into the shop. The owner also worked out a payment deal with another customer. The mechanic directly told each customer what needed to be fixed, what the cost would be and how long it would take before doing the repair. They treated me with kindness and respect. Conveniently located to 264 in the oceanfront area. I will be going back to beach auto next time I need a repair and skipping the dealer.

Great local honest auto repair

Courteous and honest shop.

I had my car inspected elsewhere and they said I need 4 new tires, an alignment, and brakes.Decided to take my car to Beach Automobile and explained the services I thought I needed based on the last place. After looking over my car, they only recommended 2 tires needing to be replaced and an alignment. Saving me money I did not need to spend at this time.Staff was courtesy and friendly. They called me with the pricing prior to performing the service.

The first and usually only place we take our 4 vehicles. Beach auto is honest and wont try to sell you services until they are absolutely needed. If it is a repair they do not do, they suggest another place that could fix the problem. Beach auto prices are completely fair and they stand behind their repairs.

This shop is always consistent with the level of care and maintenance they perform on my vehicles. They don’t cut corners and they don’t rip me off. The term “honest mechanic” seems oxymoronic, but it actually applies to the staff @ Beach Auto. Shout out to Richard especially- he’s the man.

Last week I had to bring my car into the shop because it wasnt starting properly. Sometimes it wouldnt start at all. Sometimes it would start on the 3rd or 4th try. It would just make that horrible clicking noise. You know which one Im talking about. We dropped it off at Beach Automobile Service Center on Birdneck Road. Richard, their service manager called us and said they think its the battery. But then called back and after some testing they think its the starter or possibly the Immobilizer. We agreed to start with replacing the starter. Done. Everything seemed fine. Pick it up that day. Over the next couple days it started to do the clicking thing again. So we started to Google and do some research. Found out it could quite possibly be the ground wire to the battery and there were others who had this same issue on the same year, model vehicle. We dropped it off on Thursday night. When we heard back from Richard again, he said that he replaced the starter again, and things seemed to be fixed. No charge because the first starter must have been faulty. My husband, Jason, brought up the issue of the ground to him, explaining how and why that might be the issue and Richard agreed to go back and test some things out. Turns out, it was in fact the issue with the ground. Therefore we knew that the issue had been misdiagnosed from the beginning. Now we had already spent $570-something dollars to replace the starter which was in fact never the problem. It just ended up being some quirky, weird thing that isnt very common or thought of when you hear that clicking sound. We picked up the vehicle with no extra charges and asked if we could talk to someone about maybe some sort of refund on the starter because it turns out we replaced and paid for parts that we never needed. The owner of Beach Automobile Service Center, Gary, called me on Monday morning, without us having to track him down and offered us a full refund on the parts we didnt need and said he was sorry about the mix up. He also thanked us for our business. Talk about stand up customer service!!! This place is top notch, fair, honest and reliable and they will do whats best for the customer.

They usually do good work and the prices are fare. I have just one complaint. They are very busy and at times your car can be there all day and they will not have gotten to it. It can be an issue if your need your car to get to work, or your not comfortable leaving it in a open lot overnight. .

I was the victim of a tire slasher which resulted in two of my tires being ruined. I read a review for beach auto on google and it said that they came to the guy to either repair or replace the guys tires so I figured why not just call and see if they would come to me. Ya know since they came to someone else. I was told they don’t come to the customer and that if I didn’t get my car towed to them there is no way they could fix it. That’s what most of the tire places that I called said, but for there to be a review that says otherwise, I don’t understand why customers can’t be treated equally when it comes to service. I mean I’m like 6 miles from this place.

I had a minor emergency and I called beach auto to see if they could assist me. Some idiot on oceana Blvd had cut me off and to avoid hitting them I swerved on the side of the road which resulted me in running over something which in turn punctured my tire leaving me stranded...Beach auto came to my rescue and got me going and didn’t even charge me. I appreciate your help Beach auto and to the young gentleman in a white Chevy truck who put my tire on...most people take advantage of people in need but beach auto was very generous and helped me out instead of charging me an arm and leg!!!! I’ve been here before for my inspection as well and will be here in the future!! Thanks Beach auto!!!!

Car came out of the shop with new dints and scratches Richard kept saying he’s not responsible for what happens in the parking lot. When I dropped my car off I backed it into the corner to where nothing could of even been trying on that side where the damage was. They will never get my business again and I suggest nobody use them unless you’re open to your car being damaged then not fixed

Went in explaining the problem that my car would crank but wouldnt start, 2 days later they replaced a part not related to the problem and say it cranks not, but were trying to get it to start. It turns out the be something minor but I ended up with a huge bill for it.
