Post after post about the staff being rude. Have to agree and I consider myself a pretty easy to please customer. Whomever on mgmt side is clearly not doing anything about it but theyre very quick to respond to reviews! Maybe use some of that energy to train your staff and teach them to treat their customers less like an inconvenience. The employees greet you with the enthusiasm of a dying cat.

I was very excited to get coupons in the mail from Einstein Brothers as I am a New Yorker always in search for a great 🥯 bagel .The bagels were good but the customers service was lousy. I was not greeted when I entered the store at 3:30 p.m. As an matter of fact a young girl was mopping the floor, I said hello to her but she said nothing in response..the floor was wet so you would think she would say be careful!! NOTHING ! THE guy who got my bagels was like what would you like...not happy just there! I wont return ...I think they were just ready to shut down and not help a first time customer. THE napkin holders were empty and garbage bags sitting on the tables where customers would sit. So at 3:30 in the afternoon they wanted to close. NOT a good look.

I love this place, and I got a turkey sausage egg bagel on onion bagel. Always so good, and nice staff...nothing at all bad to say. This place is awesome.

Great stop here for breakfast before heading back home from our road trip. The bagelrito was pretty good. Dave said it had a but of a kick to it so if you like a little spiciness/hotness you will enjoy. The bread was made just right. Not chewy at all. My Nova bagel was on point. We were satisfied with service and food.

I wasnt asking for the Red Carpet Service but it was mediocre I guess everyone was having an off morning

Worst experience. Ordered a lox bagel. Recieved a lox bagel with bacon. Asked for a replacement. Patrick wanted to remove the bacon. I wanted a bagel with no bacon grease, juice, etc. Patrick informed me I should be fine to eat the bacon grease and he would pull the bacon off with his fingers but not make a new sandwich. I cancelled the rest of my $30 order. I do not support places that will not correct their mistakes and are rude about their mistakes. Asked for the manager and Patrick told me he could not provide that information. Manager, I hope you see this post.

Food and service is fantastic, only problem is parking at the location there is street parking but middle of city street so it can be scarce and can be a bit of a walk to get there

Dont trust the girls at the counter to get your order right. Showed them a picture of what I wanted off of their own menu and they still screwed it up. First time here and last time here. Maybe make sure the employees know the menu before putting them behind the counter

Went in on a Tuesday at 9:15. Not one customer. No one said hello or well be right with you, nothing. We stood there for about 4 mins. I could see one girl walking back and forth kinda putting an order together, yet not really. She just kept moving the bagel around. The other one went to the back to reappear with a bagel box she was folding together. I asked if someone was helping customers and was told she is in the back. I said someone could say hello or something. But now I am the bad customer as the one girl walked over to the other, whispered something and they both look at me with evil eyes. Just then 6 ppl walked in and they both just stood there. Generally if you tell customers Ill be right with you. Explain your position most ppl are cool. Especially in todays lack of integrity, non-working class.

Amazing place for bagels and fresh baked goods. I had the LOX breakfast sandwich on a toasted Sesame bagel simply delicious.

I’ve been going here about 3 times a month for almost 6 months now and each time I order anywhere between 4 and 6 breakfast sandwiches plus 1/2 a dozen bagels. I would say at least 4 of the last 6 times they have messed up my order. They have added cream cheese to bagels I didn’t ask to have cream cheese, made sandwiches on the wrong type of bagel, cut bagels when I asked for them not to be cut. Twice in 2 months I have had to go back in their after checking the order in my car. I only started doing that after finding an issues when I got the entire order home one time. I enjoy the food but unfortunately the service is poor. I went back in side the store today because they gave me 5 of the 6 bagels I ordered. Then when I get home I discovered all of the sandwiches were made on the wrong type of bagel and two were made in correctly. That is three strikes in 1 day. I understand the human error sometimes so when they messed up in the past I let it slide but clearly this is a problem and not a 1 time mishap. I will be taking my business else where from now on.

The customer service was great! They were busy, but they even took the time to call me back over to the counter after Id ordered,just to be sure that they understood everything correctly! And, they did it all with such positive energy!

Bagels were fresh. They give you just the right amount of spread. The hot chocolate was very hot (but thats my fault as I forgot to ask they put a piece of ice in it so it wouldnt hurt my teeth). My husbands drink was great. The young lady who checked us out was very nice..Only bad part of the experience is when stepped out side to finish our drinks( as the lobby was starting get a little crowded and noisy) he came back in to use the rest rooms and one of the girls stopped him and, with somewhat of an attitude, informed him that restrooms are only for customers. When he showed he his drink and told her we had just been here, she allowed him to ho but her attitude was still rather rude.

Was yelled at the moment I walked in to the store because they were closed at 4:30, even though their website says they are open till 5. They definitely could have handled the situation better. I’ll be taking my business to the Chesapeake location from now on.

I have tried to make contact with the manager with an issue I had. There has been no return call. It is impossible to speak to anyone at the corporate level for they have all inquiries e-mailed to them with no response as well.

LOVE IT HERE! Everyone is so nice. Its always clean. Fast service. Fresh food & coffee. Relax inside or outside. GREAT way to start your day here!!! My fave is the French toast bagel with honey almond spread with hazelnut coffee. Highly recommended if u have a sweet tooth for breakfast.

Fabulous! Even better than the one in Richmond. I practically lived there. Also, the tall young afam. gentleman that waited on me was the best. I wish I had gotten his name. I was there on 12-16-20 at about 2:15. Please dont ever leave.

The carabou coffee and bagels are great. Been going to the one on main multiple times per week for about a year. Customer service and competency of some staff are terrible anymore. Especially the apparenr manager who is just goofy and has trouble reading the giant menu we order from. Very rude and just incompetent. Will move on to a new place.

Ordered a dozen assorted Begals all of which were cut extremely crooked. Started CUT in half and TOP ended paper thin and bottoms side was very thick.

I love Einsteins!! The first one I used to go to is in Chesapeake VA and I would go at least 2-3 times a week on my way to work. They have THE BEST and unique bagels Ive ever had.Today I had one of my favorite bagel sandwiches and sure enough, it was amazing. This place always has a feel good atmosphere too. It is definitely a great place to get breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

Im highly disappointed with the customer service and false advertising. I purchased a ancient grain bagel / avocado. I normally get it not toasted, but they toasted anyway. The coffee wasnt fresh...I normally eat my bagel in dinning area, they put it in Togo box with no napkin. On the receipt..it says Show this receipt, want free bagels? Visit ShmearSociety.comI went the website it required a validation number, I went to the cashier with the receipt she was not helpful, then another young woman I guess ast. manager. My large Latte with an additional shot (should of had 4 shots) that was $5.78 ended costing $8.46 because I had to go and order a additional double shot. The Latte was a beige color and tasted like milk with a hint of espresso. TERRIBLE espresso coffees here. They focus more on food than espresso drinks! My bad for trying something new! Not coming back here.

Not as good a Bruegger’s Bagels. It’s sad the the company that owns both Bruegger’s and Einstein Bros decided to shutdown the Virginia Beach Bruegger’s and keep Einstein Bros... Quality of bagel and customer service are in question here when compared to Bruegger’s.

This is a great bagel shop! They have tasty bagels and a large variety, and friendly people who work there. If youre in the Towncenter this is a great place for breakfast or lunch. Dont skip out.
