The owner is very much involved with her customers while theyre in the store. She will not recognize you on the street. If she was in-season, Id understand. But Oct is not in-season and I can only assume shes aware of that because her store and the market next door do not operate as pet the hours posted.

I love this shop. The owner is right there to help you find the right dress or dresses to fit your Summer wardrobe. Very comfortable and stylish. She even has sizes to fit full figure ladies.

Cool little shop for beach clothes like sundresses and rompers. I particularly liked a small selection of Indian style pants. Beautiful bathing suits and accessories. The shop owner is very friendly and welcoming.

Im giving true woman or one star. I think that the clothes were really nice. However, they were really expensive. The lady that owns the store or runs the stores really nice. She is also a bit pushy though and she will let you know that shes pushy because shes trying to sell you stuff I think thats why she talks fast all the time. Why I did not like the fact that she did give me her number and tell me to call her if I had a problem with all of the stuff that I bought from her. I ran into a situation where I did not know how to put on the wraps because I did not remember how to put them on what I wanted to wear them. So I called her up and she told me she would call me back in 5 minutes and its a week later almost 2 weeks later and I have yet to hear from her. I understand that people get busy and she may have forgotten but I think she should have just scrolled down to her numbers and at least try to reach out to me.

Absolutely love this shop. Beautiful clothes that wont break the bank. The woman there is amazing. Trust her! She knows what works for you and genuinely cares about you. Im going back every chance I get!

I didnt buy anything in the store, but I happened to stop right in front of it when I was in pain because of a new pair of shoes I was wearing. A woman, who I believe owns or at least manages the store immediately approached me and asked me what was wrong. When I explained, she went into her store and got me some band-aids! She knew they were too tiny, so she sat me down and quickly ran to another store to get me some bigger ones. She was so nice and caring, I had to leave a review! A very humble woman! :)

We were at True Woman the end of May, the owner was so amazing that we talked about her and her shop for months! We are back again and she is still amazing!!!!! Absolutely love this place!!!

This has turned into my favorite place to go for my vacation clothes. The owner picks my clothes for me. She knows me better than I do. She makes me feel good with my body, and makes me look better in her clothes. I will always come back as long as she owns it. Shes really good at what she does and has a heart of gold. Every single time I wear an outfit that she picked out for me I feel great in it and I get tons of compliments. Shes that good.

They know the inventory very well and make excellent suggestions. They also arent afraid to tell you if something isnt right for you and suggest something else. On vacation from Cincinnati, Ohio. Customer service was excellent. The owner, Smardi, really worked with you in finding something that looked good on you. The prices were not bad. If it wasnt a good fit, she would tell you. Overall, she was great 🤗! When I am back in Virginia, I will definitely stop there again.

For me there is no other. I feel like a woman and want to show off that I am. Plus I hate shopping and Ms. M makes it so much fun and exciting. My wife picked out a dress that she thought she would like and the owner offered to let her try it on. The owner was extremely helpful and while my wife was in the dressing room the owner actually picked out a different dress with vest that my wife loved so much more for her body type. We were extremely impressed and she loved thd experience there!!

This was me and my moms first time visiting Virginia Beach. We decided to stop by True Woman because of the google reviews. We both agreed that this was the best place we’ve ever vistited for “true sizes”. We both got a swim suit set that was both reasonably priced and flattering. I was extremely pleased with the ladies that worked there. They didn’t lie and they gave true opinions on each thing we tried on. They made me feel really good about myself. I would recommend going here not just for swimsuits, they also had a nice selection of dresses and shorts. She also carries larger sizes too that are true to size.

Got an adorable romper and little flowy dress, I love them both! Im a bit of a big girl, but with nice legs and I like to show them off. There isnt a huge selection out there for this body type, loved this little store!!!

If you are a plus size woman--Im 20/22--and want flattering, stylish and functional summer-wear, this is the spot for you.Tiffany was AMAZING and made me and my sister feel like super models. She was the gem in the store who gave credit to the owner and bff--who we bumped into outside!--and its all true, genuine, body positive TLC. I walked out of the store wearing a beautiful bikini with sarong (first one ever!) and loved it.The combination of service, merchandise and good prices--2 sarongs, 3 coverup dresses, 1 bikini, sunglasses for $205--was an awesome combination. We will DEFINITELY return.Thank you for the love!
