Good food, good service, and excellent prices

The burger was good and juicy. The price was good. Staff was nice. Atmosphere was a little lacking but to be far it was lunch time on a Thursday. I would try it again.

I like going here not alot of people during the day, love the bartender Tammi, she only has to wait on you once & knows your drink the next time you come in. Food is getting much better, check it out! Happy hour from 12-7 daily.

The Reef is back. 2nd oldest bar in Virginia Beach. Good menu and large bar area. Good food and prices.

Busy restaurant but managed to get a table for 2 quickly. Menu has a variety of items that would suit anyone. Fast service. Would visit again if in the area.

We were the only customers and the Bartender couldn’t remember our name. Sunday half priced apps - ordered Nachos that should include Guacamole. Was told after they came out and asking, that half priced apps probably didnt come with guacamole, then told they were out of guacamole. Clearly she knew we would not get guacamole. Liquor drink was under poured at about 75% (3 count). Would not recommend going.

The best constant Karaoke on shore drive. Fridays w Hollywood are full of talent...Corey has a good turnout..servers are pleasant drinks reasonable. Days need customers to keep the bartenders busy.Food specials are worth checking out!

This place is actually a hidden gem in Virginia Beach, theyve got good food, cheap drinks, and karaoke! All without actually being around any real barrier reefs!

The staff here is amazing! The food is excellent and very reasonably priced!I was starving and arrived a little bit late. They were kind enough to reopen the kitchen for me, and I wanted to shoot pool but there was nobody playing as they were doing karaoke that night, and the cook came out after cooking my food and shot with me and I had a great time! This is definitely one of my new favorite places!

The Reef is the best. We ate chicken strips and fries they were great. We stayed for Karaoke and it was so much fun! The staff especially Kate was fantastic. We love the reef!

Fun and funky. The Karaoke is good. The food and drink arent what they used to be, but its still a fun time on Shore Drive.

Good drinks, great bartenders, bs karaoke. Good luck if you don’t pay, buy a shot for, or otherwise bribe the new karaoke dude. Used to be better by a long shot.

The all new Reef is a nice place to hang out. On Thursdays is half off Burger night and karaoke. Reasonable prices and very friendly staff.

Karaoke on Friday nights was lots of fun! DJ was super nice and had lots of songs to choose from. Its a small venue with one pool table but people seem to have fun and dance.

It was alright. We just went for karaoke. We didnt eat or anything so idk how the food was. But the singing was pretty cool.🎯🎯🎯

Erik and Andrew and Mel are amazing, this place is so underrated but mom was in town and I took her there and we had the best time

This place is the best place to be to end the night. Its fabulous and Bruce, the owner, is the man. Ive unfortunately made a mess most of the times I have come and he still accepts (at the very least) me everytime I go. The food is good and though I have not been there during the day, the food is really fantastic well. Dont let the tinted windows scare you off; it is a freindly place. I wish the best of luck on this establishment!

If you go to karaoke and hope to sing....dont hold your breath!Evidently unless you are friends with the KJ...youll sing once all night while his drunk friends enjoy a private party of sorts.Good deals on drinks. Quality and attitude varies by bartender! Menu looks enticing but the atmosphere is pure party...I dont recall seeing any food the times Ive been here!Doormen are gracious and keep a good watch.Bathrooms are decent especially considering this seems to be a hangout for young party people. If youre over 30 youll feel OLD.

Wish I could give this place ZERO STARS because that’s exactly what they deserve we came in and sat down for 15 mins and weren’t even acknowledged, and note that they weren’t even busy at all smh. save your time and go some place that will do you right that’s just terrible customer service

If you are looking to go out and hook up with old nasty men and woman who try and sing then you have found the place for you. This place is just awful from the food to the service. The few times I was there service was just so bad and rude I had to leave. Some of the other reviews speak highly of the place but the new owner has raised almost all the prices and the service has not been fixed. The local drunks who are really the only people who hang out there make it very uncomfortable for other people who don’t go there all the time. If you want good service and food I suggest somewhere like the Fish House or Plaza.

When i visited Virginia beach i loved the service joe was very nice the slaw was delishious the wings were great the patty melt was great too

The Reef is a Shore Drive icon. Tiny kitchen that produces outstanding homemade-style food. The Reef Delite is the best burger in town - a big juicey cheeseburger topped with ham slices, grilled onions and bacon. Great menu prices, too.

Went here and there wasnt a lot ofn people and that was really nice. The food wasnt that bad, Im not hard to please, and the waitress was awesome.

SADLY, The REEF is no longer ooen since a fire last winter. STILL I miss them. Next door, there is a new boutiquefied restaurant, Bay Local, that will soon be another Trendy Shore Dr. Yuppyville spot. I do hope the REEF gets reincarnated someday with its cheao really good food.
