Clean and nice store. Was a quick visit so not much time to check out the entire store. Different than I remember for Big Lots but a nice store.

Found what I needed and quickly checked out. Fellow customers maintained safe distances and store was not crowded (about 6 customers) Check out counters had shields and all employees were properly masked. I felt safe here.

Always find what Im looking for...and then some.

Love the discounts that they have. The store was pretty will laid out. Though they would do better with spacing the furniture out a bit. Some areas are a tight squeeze with a cart. Employees were very nice and friendly. If you asked a question they were more than willing to help out. Most aisles had someone cleaning or stocking.

No one was there I was able to wander around and take my time.. so peaceful.

Just completed a snack run. Store is always organized. The large jar of mixed nuts is back in stock. Great staff. Not crowded.

We visited this store yesterday and I wanted to let them know how much more friendly the employees were than I was expecting. There was a young man at the register and he didnt appear to be open so we got in line at the next register. He immediately said he could help us. He was so polite and friendly. Sadly, I didnt get his name but...thank you. People are going through a lot right now and it is so nice to have a pleasant person help you.

I even bought a sofa in love seat

One of the nicest Big Lots weve been to. Employees were very nice and helpful. Store is organized with nice wide aisles. Furniture is displayed up front with great selection and pricing. Highly recommend.

Always find something

The store in Janaf Shopping Center sucks! Their shelves are rarely full and the service is poor. So, I went to the store on General Booth for the first time and it was the total opposite. Their shelves were full and I was able to get all the items I couldnt get at the Norfolk store. I will always go to the General Booth location from now on.

Good place. Decent selections. Good prices. Go here first before Walmart, then Target. The produce is good. The organic selection could be expanded. Eggs and milk to the back. Frozen section is decent.

Furniture Department is Excellent!! This store went from being a ZERO to a HERO since they moved out to Gen Booth Blvd.It is quite a haul for me,but I have now purchased a sectional,sofa table,desk and book case. Every time we go in the store is super clean and well lit. The furniture sales people are always the busiest,but they are worth the wait. I have even been able to call on an item and the salesperson had it held for me! I am really happy with my purchases. Keep on doing what youre doing furniture sales! Youre the best!

We have always had great service

Now that I discovered theres another Big Lots on this side of town. I felt devastated after the one by Chimney Hill closed down. Great place to shop. This will be my store regardless of the drive.

This Big Lots are one of the best ones in Hampton Roads. It stays organized and clean. You can find what you are looking for with ease. I never mind taking the drive if I’m looking for a great deal on products.

Clean store, nice friendly staff. However, check sell by dates in this store they do not. I picked 10 items and 6 were at least 1 month past sell by date. 1 item was 5 months past.

Always like Big Lots, best prices around and this new-ish store is well organized and clean. Like any other Big Lots, you might not find exactly what you are looking for, so be flexible. Also if you find something and think, maybe next time, understand that it might not be there next time.

Nice location and layout. The selection of basic food items was limited, there were some simple things they didnt even have.

Had to correct price on register! Price on shelf and bar code did not match the price on shelf.

I was shopping for storage bins. They have just what I needed.

Lots of big stuff here in practically limited quantities at reasonable prices. No live reindeer to be found even this close to Winter Solstice so only 4 stars.

I drove to chimney hill they were closed and moved to damn neck location, I got my car mats which I loved at big lots. Well, the damn neck has nothing.... Big store with soda and few pieces of cheap furniture and nothing else. Im so sad.....

Found that the Holland Road Big Lots moved to General Booth into the old Kmart location behind the Pizza Hut and Stake and Shake. Much larger than the old store and it makes good use of the old Kmart. Food, Furniture, pets, automotive, and much much more!

Convenient location for the people living in Ocean Lakes, Red mil, Oceana base and General Boot area. It is located in the old Kmart in General Boot. Good selection of merchandise, plenty parking. Store is clean and well lit. Friendly staff. This store is smaller than most Big Lots un the area.

Only place that carries the best gummy bears EVER! They have 5 lb bags of Albanese gummies - Haribo Gold cant even be compared. On a serious note, the employees are always very helpful, courteous, and will go out of their way for you. They carry many quality items and you dont have to deal with the Walmart attitude.

Nice store, open and clean, very helpful staff, sift through for the best bargains.

Good prices, some decent choices in home, yard decor. Some items priced higher than expected. Not a good place for clothing.

Love my Gen Booth Blvd Big Lots, its always so clean and feels wide open. I always seem to find a bargain on something i need or want.

Theres a lady named Mahogany that works there. i knew there was something off about her but it was confirmed when she told me she does heroin...i dont even know you....safe to say i wont be going back there. #mentalillnessisreal

The store has a 20% off in everything and just 2 cashiers were opened. The lines were very long.
