It was nice. Whole Foods Market had organic products for a reasonable price. They made sure that their produce was well stocked and available for customers. It was clean. I could see and smell it. I appreciated that 😌. Well organized. Alot of their rare meats were not pre-packaged so you have a choice as to how much you would want to get. When I visited the market it had ample parking and the store was not crowded. When the lines was getting too long they opened up another line. Friendly service. I will return.

Always a great store. Friendly staff, lots of selections and great options. Food is always good. Love that you can pick up and drop off Amazon stuff there. Parking sucks but nothings perfect.

Prices,high as usual,Customer service,and store associates,nice,Pretty, but lacking product knowledge. Had to find raw macadamias on my own. At 16+ dollars a pound, I went across the street to trader Joes.i did pay 10dolares for 3 sweet potatoes..

Having been to several Whole Foods locations, I can say that this one is above average. We went here for the large selection of organic produce and quality meats. The store was clean and well stocked. Customer service varied, and we could never find everything we needed. Everyone I know shops at Whole Foods for specific things and somewhere else for the rest. Also, and this almost goes without saying, its extremely expensive for no good reason. The Amazon Prime discounts are laughable. Still, no chain store can touch them in the produce and meat departments.

How do I always forget the hot bar?? Fed both kids and myself inexpensively and we all got what we wanted. Cant say the groceries arent expensive, but for the hot bar, its worth it if you have kids with different tastes.

A great place for that alternative to typical grocery stores where youre not looking for items with additives or preservatives or artificial colors or flavors. Basically, organic selections. Unique in its own way from similar stores, its definitely worth a try. You can also pick up or return your Amazon orders there. The staff are polite and professional. They are following Covid guidelines. Recommended.

Im not sure who was more excited me or my kids haha...We went in yesterday for the first time and I must say, its so clean and they have everything and more that I have been looking for!! I was a bit surprised to see raspberry at the bottom of these delicious creations because I dont recall them having raspberry at the bottom before but, either way, it was delicious and I ate its face.

My family always love Whole Foods! Their produce are fresh and love the variety of organic choices! But today was a different experience. The cashier- IONE was probably having a hard day. No smile, no greetings, but she was so nice and greeted the white woman that was in front of me. I get it, it’s not an easy job, but a smile would made a difference. Other than that, as always the other staff was welcoming.

There was only one guy working when my mom and I placed an order at the Surfside Eats at the Whole Foods Market. Even though it was one employee and it took some time, it was well worth the wait! The burger with avocado mayonnaise and cheese fries seasoning was simply delicious. Well come back again!

Much improved in my opinion since Amazon bought the chain. Of course it has great produce and other responsibly sourced food products but what makes it special are its unique store brands of specialist products, like their 365 line, homeopathic products etc.This particular store has ample parking, is handicap accessible, and has its own restaurant that uses Whole foods own products for its menu items. And it is wonderful. Highly recommend.

Wide variety of local, organic, and conventional produce. I use the purified water dispenser to fill up my 5-gallon water jugs; 39¢ a gallon! They have their own brand, 365 Everday Value, and offer several other hard-to-find specialty products.Charge your electric car while you shop!

Love this store. Able to find fresh cut fruit that I could not find at local supermarkets. Everything is so fresh. You may have to pay more but if you have allergies to certain foods this is the place to go.

I love this place! As soon as you enter the store, you walk into am area that is full of life with fresh cut fragrant flowers 💐, fruits and vegetables! Such a variety of products as well as local businesses!!

We love going here. We dont get a lot of items from here each time we shop but we get maybe $50 to $80 bucks worth usually. It is pricey compared to other grocery stores and Trader Joes but some things you can only find here. I really love the fresh produce, fresh peanut butters, food to go, eat-in kitchen/area, bakery, fresh pasta/cheese (I love Italian food), etc.We have eaten in here a few times and always liked the food. We will probably eat in here again in the future.I usually grab some fresh Italian ingredients for pasta, fresh baked goods, some dry goods, and usually some candy to try out and other random items. They had a sample of an ice cream sandwich last time and it was delish. I love when they have samples available. It is such a great idea for customers. I will be back again, like always.

Great staff, great produce and great meat. It is a little more expensive but the produce is certified fair trade and the meat is certified humane so I think it’s worth paying extra. I love all of the healthier options, they even have a delicious vegan, paleo chocolate and natural body products.They also offer a small discount if you bring your own reusable bags.I do most of my shop here now.

They have very wonderful staff. Beyond being helpful & attentive, there are many folks working here who are caring and, of course, always responsive.It is so nice to go into a business where interacting with the employees makes you feel good.

I like this WFM their lunch buffet isnt the best price but the options are great and consistently tasty! Selection is awesome. There is a large chance for heavy lunch rush but its easy to miss with some planning. Outdoor seating is great.

It was fine, another customer thought I worked there despite me wearing a shirt that says I eat asbestos and got upset when I didnt know where returns were.

Im a huge wholefoods fan But this location is the ugliest wholefoods Ive ever seen. I travel to different cities and look for a wholefoods location to visit . This one in Va beach is so run down it looks a mess .For example theres noticeable prominent long cracks in the floor like there was a earthquake. They definitely do not thave the lovely wholefoods decor Im used to. The local residents may think its great however they have no other close location to compare. This wholefoods needs a complete makeover.

Love this place, the selection and the kind staff. Traffic getting in and out certain times of day can be a pain and if you arent careful you can spend a small fortune. The vegan chicken salad is to DIE for and worth a trip for that alone.

My husband and I ordered food to go, chefs plate, from here. Usually its very good and with many options. When we went, the food wasnt very good. The sesame tofu was dry and lacked flavor. The brussel sprouts were undercooked and difficult to eat. They had no flavor, like salt, pepper, or anything. Im disappointed that the food has gone downhill so much.

Selection of harder to find items is great. The meat and seafood is always top notch and everyone working those counters are extremely helpful and kind. Stockers are usually willing to help and knowledgeable. The cashiers and service desk must be where the put the employees least eager to work. It never fails that my Whole Foods experience is fantastic until the last 5% at the end where it is so miserable I cant imagine giving a total rating over 3 stars. Without that it is 5+ stars.

As the only Whole Foods on this side of the water, this place tends to get pretty crazy busy during peak shopping hours and weekends and, with a Laskin Road location, its sometimes hard to get into and out of, but its well-stocked and the staff are friendly. They have an amazing salad bar inside and fresh deli and bakery items and sell a broad range of high quality fresh produce and meats. I can usually find some pretty rare and hard to find items in here that are healthy snacks. If you have Amazon Prime and can do Prime Now you can order for delivery or pick-up via the website or app which is great. I love having a Whole Foods in this area and love their branded items.

My favorite thing about the store is the prepared foods for big sections of prepared foods buffet style that you pack to go, and too big display cases of prepared foods that they serve for you. Sometimes the prices are high but watch your shopping and youll do just fine... the coffee bar is very popular and cheaper than most other options for their Primo organic espresso. Plus a large assortment of designer beers if thats your cup of tea :-)

As always, Whole Foods had what I was shopping for! Beautiful produce in a beautiful produce department and an array of cheeses that will please everyone!

There are few places where you can find a little bit of everything in this is one of them. I have bought several of their African Market baskets, a little on the costly side but well worth it. Their tea selection is almost an entire one side of the aisle. I love that they carry sprouting seeds and they are bulk at that. If you wanted an adventure in food from out of the ordinary you cant go wrong here at Whole Foods!

Whenever I need a cake for a birthday party I go here. I love their cakes. I love the frosting on the cakes the most. They are not disgustingly sweet like ones I have gotten from sugar plum bakery or even any other bakery and taste better than custom made cakes, in my opinion. It is like fresh homemade whipped cream but in the texture of frosting, and they are all very beautiful. For $20, and occasionally cheaper, I can get a beautiful cake that tastes amazing. My only one complaint was that one of the cakes i had gotten topped with fruit, the fruit had started to spoil, they need to do a better job of dropping the price on those types once they have sat for a day to get them gone so as not to leave a bad impression on a first time buyer of their cakes.

I have been really disappointed in this Whole Foods location as of late. Initially when the pandemic started, they were following all mandates: masks required, limiting the number of customers in the store, and one way aisles inside. Now it seems the only precaution they are sticking to is masks being required, but today I saw two customers not wearing masks at all. One was even entering at the time I was walking in and she refused to wear a provided mask and was let in anyway. This was extremely disappointing and you would think store management would choose to enforce these simple measures to protect the health of their workers and customers. This was really disappointing to see, and I will be shopping only at Trader Joe’s from now on.

You never know how a trip will go when you step into the store. Sometimes the shelves are stocked, sometimes theyre empty. Same goes for the hot bar and cafe.

Wide range and variety of organic items. Expensive as well. Good for once in a while if youre okay to buy from other stores such as food lion etc unless you have no choice or you are willing to pay top dollar

Beware folks! Whole Foods is still charging more than the shelf price. I bought an item that had a shelf price of $3.49 but I was charged $3.99. When I brought this to the stores attention, I found that the way it was ultimately fixed was when I went into the store the next day. The shelf price of the item was now $3.99. I think they have found a new way to still over charge. This has been going on for quite some time now--every since the news about it happening in New York years ago and then it made its way to Va. Beach. I know for myself it has been happening for the same amount of time. I have kept receipts of this on-going overcharging. Remember, the store policy is that you get the item free when it rings up higher than the shelf price.

So happy we FINALLY have a WFM in the area. The seafood market and the cheese selections...top notch!

I was encouraged to check out Whole Foods Market by a friend...At first I was bit skeptical.I was very impressed with every aspect of Whole Foods. The store was clean, and has a wide-variety of fruits, vegetables etc. The food court provides something for everyone- Whether youre pescetarian, vegan, or you love Southern cooking. You can find something that suits you.If youre not hungry; They also have a wide-variety of beverages you can enjoy.I really enjoyed my experience at this location, and the great customer service put the icing on the cake.5 Stars!!

This is an Amazon return location! I walked into the main entrance of the store, turned left, customer service person scanned my phone page, and right away I had an email from Amazon saying they had received my returned package. Awesome.

Overpriced but had calf liver

Some of the quality has gone downhill in the last couple of years. I used to get everything here because the produce was so fresh it would keep all week now Im lucky if it lasts a couple of days. When Ive ordered through prime Id receive bread and other perishables and the sell by date was the same date as purchased. For how much Im spending I expect better quality and for things to keep.

Worth the 45 minute drive. Where else can you get duck breast besides the butcher?

So, I really like this store. I actually buy lunch here quite often. They are expensive, but good. I like to get a slice of pizza, and with it I make a PC cup of ranch dressing (they have an amazing brand) lol which they dont sell in the store. But the other day this very rude cashier demanded that I pay extra for my dressing. This was the 1st time in over a year this was charged. When I told her so, she had a especially NASTY attitude. So I gave her the dressing and the slice! No longer going to buy their very overpriced food. Good job lady!

Whole Food Market is a thrilling place to shop. I am always happy to get a few items at Whole foods. If you are an Amazon Prime Member you can scan your bar code on your cell phone and get a discount on your entire purchase. Its like 10% off. The store is set up to easily find whatever you need, and there are usually friendly staff available stocking shelves or walking around the store. I should have gotten a slice of pizza because it sure looked delicious. I got some granola and Fuji apple juice.
