I want to also give a big Thank You to Kristen Cooper who helped us choose the right hot tub for us in the Yorktown store. The wait was long due to conditions outside of their control but Kristen checked in with us routinely. Great team, which is very much appreciated!

Some of my chemicals are setup on an auto pay method and delivered directly to my home, which is a gem for my busy lifestyle, so knowing I can come home and relax in my spa thanks to the whole team!!!

Went into Great Atlantic a couple of weeks ago looking for a new hot tub for my home. Chatted with a salesperson for about 15-20 minutes about the different lines of tubs they have. They did not have any tubs setup on the floor to show the jets. The salesperson talked about the different features of each line and each hot tub.At the end of the conversation I asked for a brochure with all of the information since there was no way I could remember every detail of each option, warranty, price, etc. He said they didnt have any brochures that he could share with me which I thought was odd. He said that he could email me with all of the information we talked about. I figured this was just a spammy way to get all of my information, but I was VERY interested in their products since a friend had the same brand. The salesperson said he would send me the information the same day.I went and looked at a couple of other places that all had running tubs to look at. They all were able to provide me with brochures detailing everything about their products.I really liked the option of the saltwater hot tub and I liked the very cool jets that only their brand has. I waited for a week for an email, a call, a text.....NOTHING. I wanted to call them but if the lack of communication when I wasnt a customer yet leads me to believe the communication would just get worse after they have my money. They had my address, phone, email, etc. and no contact.Please make sure you are dealing with a company that has great communication from the first interaction!

Nick is AWESOME! He came out twice to show us everything we needed to know about using our hot tub. He is extremely knowledgeable and explained everything very thoroughly. He was very patient when we asked for clarification on everything. Great Atlantic as a whole (especially Diana and Morgan) has been very helpful with everything throughout the process. Highly recommend if you are thinking about getting a hot tub!

I am very glad that John and Andrew delivered my new spa. I live in the woods and the location for the spa is in a tight spot. John did a great job getting the truck and trailer back to its location. Once unloaded John and Andrew worked together effortlessly to place the spa. Within minutes they had the spa ready for my electrician to do his job.Both John and Andrew we able to answer most questions and when they didnt know the answer to one they knew to call David for the right answer.Before leaving John showed me all of the startup procedures for putting my spa into service.Thank you John and Andrew for your friendliness and curtiousness.

Nick from Great Atlantic Hot Tubs, Pools and Saunas did both a service and orientation for our new salt water hot tub.  Nick was very professional, patient and provided  an outstanding orientation.  He immediately noticed that our green/blue light has become disengaged from the inside cover.  The light is of course critical to the units self -diagnosis because it flashes and makes the owner aware of low level salt or other issues.  We feel very fortunate to have a great team of service technicians available from Great Atlantic.  Thanks for a great job Nick!

Had a great experience buying a new hot tub from Great Atlantic. Jason was very knowledgeable and super friendly. He helped us find the perfect tub and was on top of everything the entire time. Shana was super friendly setting up the delivery process and Nick was super friendly and helpful during the delivery. I have nothing but great things to say about this team. The only problem I have is that I should have gotten a new tub sooner. So relaxing!

The hot tub we bought from Great Atlantic 23 years ago finally had an issue that costs too much to repair. But Diana in the service department did her very best to help me figure out a way around the problem. Finally, though, it became clear that we need to let the old one go, but Diana helped me identify a tub that is smaller and cheaper for this time in my life. In the service department, Diana, Nick, Trent, and a woman whose name I didnt catch all have been incredibly helpful and patient with me. And Clay In sales was straightforward, thorough, and helpful in handling our new purchase.Honestly, at first I was debating whether to get another tub or just end my hot-tubbing years, but I know Ill be in good hands with the team at Great Atlantic...and I do love a good soak in the tub!

His knowledge about spas and the products to maintain a clean and healthy spa is thorough. He answered all my questions and I didn’t feel silly about asking any of them! Mick and Tyler did a fantastic job during my annual 21- point inspection, drain and fill. Its really worth having pros conduct this annually as they made several important repairs under warranty that I would never have caught myself. Thorough, professional and knowledgable. The hot tub arrived and the delivery team did a fantastic job. The hot tub was ordered in September and arrived in March due to COVID interrupting production and we are excited to start using the hot tub.The hot tub was huge, 7 person, and heavy, like 800 lbs. I am very grateful for the time and care Ron, John, and Ryan put in to get the hot tub into my yard and get it setup. They worked very carefully to get in. Great company to work with!

We anxiously await hook-up by the electrician tomorrow, getting the water added/balanced, then finally enjoying our purchase. So far, so good (now that the wait is over)! John and Andrew delivered and setup my spa today, and also the loaner I was given while waiting 11 months ( thanks Corona) for the delivery of my hot tub. They were good both times, very relaxed which relaxed me, and answered all questions. My negativity is more due to the poor communication from GA. They did a very poor job of keeping me updated, were often unresponsive (until I tried to cancel my order 🙄) and even with being able to use email, did a really poor job at good communication, confirmations, or follow through. They do a hard sell in the showroom, which I get. But I prefer a business that underpromises and over-delivers...not the opposite.Edited to add: still cannot get my chemicals delivered,(which I now know that the man doing the orientation told me completely wrong anyway. I am so disheartened by dealing with this company as, like I told their production manager, I would not do it again if I had it to do over...and I LOVE my spa. Its not the product, its the service that is an issue. Maybe I am an outlier, but I run a business too and I get a fumble now and then; continuing to fumble is just failing.

We were referred to Great Atlantic by a family friend when we started shopping for a hot tub. We stopped in showroom, amazing service, salesperson was very informative and friendly. By the time we got home, we had an email with rates of different models, etc. Went back the next day to purchase, and were told it would be 12-20 weeks before we received, which was understandable due to COVID delays, but that we would be updated periodically as to its status. That was the last we heard from them. We’re at 22 weeks now. No updates. I’ve called several times, was told someone would call us back, nothing. I emailed, no response. I checked my spam folders, nothing from Great Atlantic. Delays are to be expected, but good customer service is also to be expected. Just an email giving some type of information would be helpful. And is very disheartening to read reviews stating other customers did receive updates.

Ordered a hot tub in September of 2020. Was told it would be delivered in January because of Covid and the shutdown. Asked for an update in December and was told by Q1. Asked later and was told by a manager that they pulled some strings and it would be delivered in May. Sent another email this week and now they are telling me end of summer which is a YEAR after we ordered it. If we cancel and order from someone else at this time, it will take another 6 months after they kept putting us off.

Originally I became acquainted with Great Atlantic in 2015 when a house I purchased had a Hot Springs hot tub. Great Atlantic, in Yorktown, right off the bat was helpful in helping me understand how to maintain the hot tub.A year later, with the help of Sandie Hill and Kristen Cooper, working our of the Yorktown showroom, I traded in my hot tub on a newer model, a salt system. They helped me save thousands not only providing me a fair trade-in price, but also prompting me to purchase the hot tub through an agreement Great Atlantic has with the Military Exchange System which saved over one thousand in sales tax.Diana Barrett, Operations and Accounting Manager in Great Atlantics Virginia Beach Headquarters is always there to provide warranty service and just answer hot tub operational concerns if needed.I feel I can depend upon Great Atlantic Hot Tubs having done business with them for over five years.

I ordered my spa back in October 2020 and just now received it a few days ago. They were not great at keeping me updated on delivery date. It took days to get response via email on delivery update which kept getting pushed farther and farther.Delivery date finally here!!I was supposed to get a call the morning of delivery to confirm delivery order and time. I did not recieve that call. But Delivery crew were great overall. I needed them to come back due to family emergency and they happily came back a few hours later when I was avaliable. They were nice at moving the spa around to my liking. However they were not very helpful with the set up or who to call for the set up. Now Im looking up youtube videos to figure out how to do chemicals and use the remote, which I am terrible with electronics. I am waiting to get a call back for the orientation. I wish it was something they did upon delivery, because I would like to be in my spa now. Buuuut I added too much chlorine, so I have to wait.
