Customer service speaks volumes and IT WAS HORRIBLE. I would not recommend this company due to my experience with a different customer service representative on several occasions. Tone of voice and attitude towards a customer makes the customer more accepting to a situation.

I have routinely had issues with this company. I even went as far as driving to their location when they dropped the ball on delivering for my daughter. I would not recommend this company at all if you have a loved one in need of breathing supplies. If I could give a half star I would.

I had to give them the one star so I could post a review. Customer Service is lacking. They failed to provide back up oxygen in case of a power outage, to my 83 year old father who depends on his oxygen while sleeping. Please do not trust them with the best interest of your parent.

I so appreciate great service. I recently had questions about my PAP machine. Kelli Lane RRT, at the Virginia Beach office, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and an absolute pleasure to interact with.GREAT Job!

If I could leave negative stars,I most certainly would. Now mind you, I only have 47 percent of lung usage so it is definitely imperative I have my oxygen. Originally they called me to tell me that my insurance would cover it and all was well. They brought all the machinery and tanks I needed, and I thought wow they are very punctual. Boy was I wrong. 5 months later they called to say I had a 2000 dollar balance and I would have to pay it or surrender the equipment. Now 5mos previous my insurance supposedly covered it. Im not surrendering the equipment until I get justice from these con artists. With a hurricane on the horizon, Im afraid if power goes out, I will not be able to breathe. Also, I have no tanks and need some badly. Im glad Im not the only one that feels this way but Im sad to know other people suffer also.

If there was a way to give no stars I would do that. I have been trying to get my husbands old CPAP replaced and the rudeness and run around have been going on for almost three weeks. They say they never get the faxes my doctor sends, and disconnect me on the call multiple times. The women who answer complain that they have over 50 faxes to go through and cant get to ours yet. Promises of a return call never happen. I cant understand how they are in business. Disgrace for a business to be run like this.

Excellent service and support. Each time I contact Lincare, either over the phone or in person at their office, I am always treated respectfully, my questions are promptly answered, and I am totally satisfied. I have no need to go elsewhere for c-pap supplies; when pleased with the service, why go somewhere else.

I wish I could give them a 0 or less than 1 star. First off I told the SEVERAL TIMES I had no insurance and they still tried turning in into my insurance meaning the bills I got monthly were not all I had to pay. As well as I had no idea they were going to bill me monthly I had just moved and was without a job for 2 months in which they knew and I told them I did not want my machine or anything to be shipped to my apartment. Even after I turned everything in a was still billed an extra month and then after I was told everything was paid 2 months later I received ANOTHER bill and they said it was what my insurance didnt pay that I had to pay it... Well I told them again that I told them to not turn it into the insurance cause I no longer had it and that this would have never happened if they listened to me the first several times I told them. So I had to take time out of two days waste my time and gas to correct and pay for their mistake.

I was a customer of Lincare for three months, and during this time the customer service experience was absolutely horrid. I was told multiple times that the respiratory therapist would call me to set up an appointment, but never did. The only thing they seemed to care about was selling me as much equipment as my insurance would allow. Do yourself a favor and review your DME equipment vendor online. I made the mistake of going with Lincare since that was who my doctor looked up as the “closest provider”. Driving a few more miles to get your equipment will save you tons of phone calls and headaches. Avoid this place like the plague.

IF I could give Half .......My mother was waiting over a month for an Oxygen concentrator - she called every week!. They always had some excuse as to why it had not been delivered. First it was the Providers fault then they never received the fax - I took over and after being on hold 4 times, each person telling me something different -- They decided not to provide the service for my mother . With my background in Healthcare - specifically billing I know what is needed for the equipment . All the proper paperwork including the CMN was provided several times - They dropped the Ball - They are ridiculous - UNPROFESSIONAL .

Instead of contacting myself or my Dr, these people say on a prescription for a wheelchair for almost a month. Each time I called, they had no idea what I was talking about. They failed to communicate with each other, so you have to speak to the same representative, EACH AND EVERY time. Theyve held up my insurance process, resulting in prolonging my pain. Definitely wont be doing any more business with them.

I received a cpap and supplies and everything went very smoothly, the respiratory therapist, who was very friendly - explained everything very well and I was put on a list for monthly calls so I could re-order my supplies. I do see other peoples comments and that was not my experience and I know from my own experience that people tend to write negative comments more freely then they do positive comments - so I wanted to express my experience.

I agree with all the reviews. My doctor ordered a POC for me and after weeks of a runaround saying that they never got the faxes, calls repeatedly to my doctor, telling me they ordered to three times, telling me there was no ETA on the equipment and then I called the health system complaint line and finally got a manager. Only to find out that now my insurance wont cover it. And that was after my insurance said it would pay. I want another provider, but for some reason my doctor thinks another provider will be the same.

Lincare never process the order from my doctor saying they had nothing in their system. Save your aggravation, save your time & money, go elsewhere. When after all else failed, I arrived at their place of business.. the assistant provided me with information I asked for but with much negative attitude. Portable oxygen in this company is outdated, big, bulky and inconvenient. Asking my doctor to remove them from referral list.

This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. If your call gets answered, which is rare, you never get an honest answer. I really don’t know how Lincare has managed to keep their license to supply medical equipment. If you care about your health, do NOT use this company.

What a sorry excuse for any type of medical supplier. Absolutely gross individuals.Super loved the coked up dude who had zero ability to explain anything or patience whatsoever. Way too forceful and aggressive communication style. This place needs to be shut down, immediately if not sooner. What a scam. They NEVER checked in my returned equipment or did a release with my insurance company so I could go somewhere else.MY DOCTORS OFFICE HAD TO REPORT THEM TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY SO I COULD GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I have used Lincare ( previously American Home Patient ) for several years. I have a home oxygen generator that works great as long as there is electrical power. I had a hard time during the last hurricane losing power for several days. I have a portable bottle 02 bag that dosent last long enough to go anywhere. I have been trying to get a portable oxygen generator for over a year and like some of the feedback I have read its almost impossible to get accurate information when calling for updates. There must be a reason we are all having similar issues. I hope someone fixes what is broken with this company.I have COPD and nss lung cancer. I need the 02 all the time. Tha air lines wont let you on the plane with 02 bottles. Because Im unable to get Lincare to complete my Drs.script for the portable 02 generator Ive missed severalfamily events and a funeral.

Initial referral for nebulizer submitted in Feb. they sent letter saying c-pap machine required authorization, referral resubmitted in March. I called in 3 weeks later and they gave me the run around saying they never recieved the referral. I walked in to hand carry and they had me waiting for almost an hour to receive the notice saying no authorization was required for the nebulizer. I left under the impression Ill be receiving my nebulizer. 4 weeks later I called and was told no info on file. PCM Clinic faxed info over. Called to follow up and they now they need a new referral bc that 1 expired. BYE!

Im only giving this 1 star because google wont allow me to give a negative or zero rating. This is the most unprofessional business i have ever dealt with. Upon receiving my cpap they told me I would receive my supplies automatically in the mail. When that didnt happen, I contacted them and they told me my account had been de-activated because they had allegedly contacted me and I hadnt responded. I discovered they had written down my cell phone number wrong, and then refused to own up to it even though I had their paperwork from the initial cpap receipt right in front of me showing otherwise. They then proceeded to claim they hadnt received my doctors fax for re-activation: 4 TIMES. Then confirmed receipt, and told me it would be referred to a respiratory therapist for follow up. That never happened so I called back, and they said hey had never received the fax they had just confirmed receipt of on my previous call, and had to put me on hold for 20 minutes to find it. They then advised me they would refer it to a respiratory therapist (which was already supposed to have happened a week prior to this). I asked to speak to a manager and apparently there isnt one there and wont be in for another 5 calendar days, which is probably why the business is so disorganized and disheveled in the first place. Ultimately, I ended up requesting my doctor refer me to any other place on the face of the planet than Lincare. I should also note that I very RARELY write complaints, but how this place is even still in operation is beyond me.

My doctor faxed orders to Lincare on 11/17. I called Linscare on 11/20 they said they didn’t have a fax. So I called my doctor back and they said yes they faxed the order and had a confirmation.I called Lincare back could they look again for the order no it had to be processed. I asked if they would call me to let me know if they have it she said yes. Well it’s been two hours no call. I need the nebulizer to help me breathe. I am stuggling to breathe.I called the doctors office back and asked if there was another medical supplier in Norfolk and she said yes but Lincare was the best. Well they are rated a 1 Star she said she didn’t believe that. They need to read the reviews!

I went in with a prescription for a cane from my fiances oncologists they took a copy of his id and insurance info along with the prescription for the cane. I asked how long it would be they said they had to fax something to dr office and it depended on how long it took the dr office to get back to them. I call 2 days later to ask if they had heard anything and I get told we dont do that kind of thing here the people didnt have the common decency to call and tell us so we could look else where. He had even went into the office with me and they saw him having a hard time getting around. The people are very rude and unprofessional there.
