Great shop the gentleman who helped me was very helpful and informative he really knew his stuff. He gave me some advice on how to fix the issue and install the part that I bought myself. Something I beforehand didnt know if I was gonna be able to do by myself or not because I had never done it before But he made it really simple and really clear to understand, I had no issues with the install. The store front is very clean and organized The guys are nice And their pricing is very fair. I will be taking my bike here and getting parts from them from now on.

Sierra Bicycle Werks is an amazing local shop I would highly recommend. I’ve purchased five bikes from them over the years and their customer service is top notch.Always friendly and follow up service is great. With my most recent purchase my front fork experienced a an issue during assembly from the factory that caused issues. I simply called into the shop on a Saturday after a ride and got some advice on how to temporarily fix the issue. During this call I didn’t leave my name or many details and was pleased with the advice I was provided.The following Monday I unexpectedly received a phone call from the manager following up with me as to if the fix worked. While it did he has some concerns and wanted it resolved indefinitely so he offered to send the fork back to the manufacturer for repair. Ultimately the fork was serviced and returned in about one week and is working great.This shop demonstrated their commitment to service and will continue to earn our families business into the future. I would highly recommend them.

I recently took my 20 year old bike (which probably hadn’t been serviced since it’s purchase in 2001) to Sierra Bike Werks recently and everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable and all seemed to be enjoying their time working together and on bikes. When I picked it up, it was done way earlier than expected, I decided I wanted to replace the handle grips and they gladly obliged. I then started looking at a new seat (I learned it’s actually called a saddle!) and the nice gentleman helped me pick one out and installed it on the spot. Very knowledgeable, will definitely return for any other service or to upgrade to a new bike in the future!

I bought a bike one year ago and I added the tire package which included a heavy duty inner tube, slime and liner for the tire. Well, I had a puncture a couple months ago and I decided to change the inner tube myself. Heavy duty tube? Checked. Slime? Who knows. Liner? Nowhere to be found. In both tires. I called them and they said that I never ordered that. Me and my wife clearly remember what we ordered because she was specific about the liners. I guess is a lesson learned, we are not going back to this store.

Went to see if they could fix or replace a rear wheel for my sons bike and find some brake pads, Keith helped us right away with solutions to fix it, and he was very helpful, friendly and not pushy. As we were there we noticed that their bikes were very reasonably priced, and instead of putting money fixing the old bike, we decided to put it towards the purchase of a new bike. Keith let my son try the bike out and ride it to see if he liked it, then got it ready once my son picked the bike he wanted. I was genuinely amazed by the level of customer service and professionalism at this bike shop, Keith and the other employees were friendly and I appreciated that he explained everything and wasn’t pushy at all. I am going to let all my friends and family know to come here for all their bike purchases and bike repair needs, and will be back to purchase bikes for my family!

Dirt shredding, trail ripping, berm slinging, PR smashing, high grade climbing and descending, fine tuned machines from Trek is what they sale here, the service from every single one of their staff is mind blowing prime A grade. From the guy who decorates for holidays, all the way to the top man himself, if you have a question...it will get answered, if you have a problem... it will get fixed, if you need advice...it will be given, if you need a buddy to go shred with....they are all down for a good ride. Have been coming here for repairs for years, And have always had excellent service.After having many surgeries, I was not able to ride a typical/traditional bicycle anymore, that, coupled with being very disproportionate made riding most bicycles very uncomfortable and sometimes impossible, or even dangerous. A little over a year ago, Christian suggested Electra Townie, it seemed like a good idea, but I still had other bicycle’s in trying to find the right fit over the years that needed new homes before I could add another one...A few months ago, with my 60th birthday coming soon, I had started thinking a lot more seriously about Electra Townie. I tried a few other higher-end bicycles and and they were a little better but not like Electra Townie. I really needed that Flat-Foot Technology, and a step-through design. Once again I got great information from Christian and patience and excellent information in trying out the Electra Townie. I know without a doubt these people are absolutely honest about anything you need to know, you can tell they care way beyond a sale. Something I didn’t think I’d ever really get to do again, but I am now able to ride a bike again like when I was a kid, with confidence, absolute comfort and quite a bit of style as I was able to add accessories that made it totally beautiful and mine, with a vintage look. A lot of people don’t get to ride a bike, I am extremely lucky that I get to, and I don’t even know if they know how much they did for my quality of life In helping me to have the right Bicycle. I might be 60 now, but I feel like a kid again!I will always be thankful to Christian and the people at Sierra Bicycle Werks in Visalia. I am a very very happy and lucky girl!

They had the one bike rack I wanted, and they only had one. They put my name on it on Saturday, and I drove 2-1/2 hrs on Monday to get it. It was there! Staff were informative and friendly. Good use of masks, which I appreciated very much.

Being from Porterville, it is a drive to get to a bicycle store. I went to the “other” bike store in Visalia. They were rude and arrogant. Felt like I was wasting their time. Turned out great because I ended up at Sierra Bicycle Werks. . They were wonderful. Great people, friendly service and they know what they are doing. This is where I will go from now on! The guys at the store were very welcoming and helpful. They had good knowledge about bikes. I went in with 2 flat tires with punctures . They identified the problem and explained what the cause could have been. The tubes in the tires originally were not of great quality. They showed me the different qualities of the tubes that can be used and were reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place !!!

As an example, when I inquired about mounted lights for my bicycle, he offered the top of the line products with an informative and persuasive presentation. When I inquired about a similar product in a lower price range, he compared the two noting the differences in quality and features that would be lost with the cheaper model. Wonderful strategy to maximise profits while serving customers. Christian addressed me by name throughout the visit, and I could tell he was smiling even with a mask from 6 feet distance.

Sierra Bicycle Werks treats customers with care and they do great work. Unbeknownst to me, by bicycle frame was damaged and was potentially dangerous. They caught the problem, contacted Cannondale about their replacement program, and did everything they could to get me going again. I ended up buying a frame online and asking them to build my new bike using my old components. David Mendonca, the shop owner and excellent mechanic, built my new bike beautifully. It shows attention to detail and craftsmanship. They also gave me a free loaner derailleur when it turned out that my old one was also damaged and a replacement had to be ordered.

Had great customer experience with Christian as he helped me decide on the right bicycle computer for my needs. Additionally, I was having some saddle position issues. He adjusted my saddle position and discussed proper seating to see if that would resolve the issue rather than try to sell me a new seat. I appreciate those helpful actions which creates customer loyalty.

I took my bike back today because the Bicycle Werks put a new tube in my rear tire two weeks ago. I rode it the day I picked it up and when I went to ride it again the tire was flat. I pumped it up rode it again and since it was losing pressure I brought it back. Instead of them offering to repair it at some discount. I got a five minute lecture on how it was all my fault and I need to check the pressure before riding it. While he was still lecturing me, I just left and went to Visalia Cyclery. They fixed in in 6 minutes. I’ll bet it’s not flat tomorrow.

Extremely welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Helped get a new pair of riding shoes and pedals for my bike, and gave me a lot of info about where to ride and even helped with getting me on the Crew App to hear about any rides going on. I will definitely be going back!

I showed up to check-out some bicycles I was interested in, even though the posted hours said the store was open, it was locked-up with no-one there.Turns out they were all out for a cycling ride for the Memorial Day, returned later that day and the store was open, the store staff offered assistance in selecting a Electra Cruiser 7D, exact bike I was look for. Nice to see they were cycling enthusiast, and once they were out on their own ride, they returned to the store to help customers. Nice customer service...

Came in for flat repair as I was stranded with no tools/spares. They took care of that quickly and also suggested some work on my front wheel which had some bearing play and told me the min and max of what it might cost. I brought it in a few days later and they took care of it. Luckily for my pocketbook it took minimal work and parts. Bike rides like a charm now! Guys are professional, friendly, and make you feel like youre worth their time.

I really liked how I came in looking for suggestions on a new bike seat and they recommended a few and explained the differences. They also installed and adjusted the seat there and made sure it was to my liking before I left the shop.

I have been to 5 different bicycle shops in the Valley and had work done at all. Sierra Bicycle Werks is the one I end up back at time and again. They are fast, knowledgeable, and they really do offer the best prices. I get my bikes tuned every season here now. When I had questions about a different bicycle setup they worked with me to find parts and get me rolling.
