Its such a great experience all around at North CountyAutomotive. Erik is honest and takes a moment to explain what I need and dont on my older Honda to extend its life but not break the bank. He has caught things others missed. Now Im loyal to only go to his shop. Cindy makes everything on the drop off and pick up go smoothly as well as adds a friendly touch that I always appreciate. I cant recommend this business enough!

Love these guys!! The lady at the front desk is very professional and always makes me feel like a priority. My mechanic is Eric and all my repairs have been done quickly and successfullly! My Subaru is in great hands at. North County and I have made them my go to shop.

Erik was extremely detailed with how he inspected the vehicle and made the experience very customer friendly by showing the results of what he found right away. Erik communicated the cost with no surprises at the end. I will absolutely be coming back to North county automotive or anything related to my company vehicles or personal day to day vehicles. Felt like I can really trust them and its a family business which Im all about supporting.

I took my car in to get my brakes done and asked how much it would cost for suspension and Benson and emergency break and some other details tales….. they charge me a $135 said they wouldnt even do my brakes

I’ve worked with a lot of automotive shops over the years. I am really impressed with Erik and his team and the quality work they do. I always feel like he’s fair in his pricing and I really like that he uses quality parts And that there is a network so if I’m out of state that will cover the warranty. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good quality work.

Literally the best value anywhere in SoCal. $40 for an oil change and that includes a bumper to bumper inspection. Erik and his crew are amazing and will make sure you understand all the details of your vehicles service.

We found North County Automotive by accident but not because of an accident. :-) Weve been using them ever since. Weve taken four of our cars there over time -- mostly to keep up with regular maintenance. Owner (and head mechanic) is knowledgeable, skilled, honest and humble. The charges are fair. He doesnt do work that doesnt need to be done. He looks out for the safety of the vehicle. He recently was also able to fix an electrical issue in one of our power seats -- something we would typically have needed to take to an electrical shop. His mom runs the office and her communication is timely and responsive.

I heard about North County Automotive from a friend and man am I excited to now have a reliable and HONEST mechanic to go to! My 2015 Pathfinder wouldnt start and I got it towed to their shop and they discovered is was just a loose battery cable (of course this shows how NOT mechanical I am). They could have told me any number of things but they told me the truth and I had my car back in a couple of hours. SUPER happy with their service. Ill be going there for all things relating to my cars and referring them like crazy to my friends.

I highly recommend this place! I went in for an oil change and inspection and got exactly what I asked for. I will definitely return here in the future for any work I need for my car!

I only have one experience with North County Automotive, but they certainly helped me out of a jam. I was visiting with my family from out of state and my AC failed while crossing the Mojave Desert (115 degrees outside) and I had no idea where to take my car to get fixed in the limited time that I had. We were staying with family in Vista, who referred me here and they took great care of me. They fixed the AC and noticed my brakes needed some help so they took care of that as well. I had the car back the next day and the prices were probably a little better than what I would have paid at home. Really saved our vacation.

Great customer service! They give you an honest and fair price for their services and you always feel like youre a friend of the family. He doesnt have a lot of experience with European cars but he took great care of my Volvo and he is my first call whenever I need maintenance done on my car. I true hidden gem of an auto shop!

Ran over a truck tire tread on the Interstate and damaged the under engine skid cover. Eric replaced the broken fasteners and had me back on the road with no more flapping plastic. Hes the man!
