Great selection of items and fresh produce and meat. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for! They were also very receptive to ordering something special for me that I needed that they didnt have in stock.

Cinnamon sticks are stupidly expensive. As I was whining about it to the check out lady, she pointed to a location that Id never seen them.I must have looked lost, as she left her station, to show me exactly where the better deal items lived.She had gone out of her way to make sure next time, Id know where to go.That was excellent! :o)

The flowers look like they cry themselves to sleep at night. They were half dead and the arrangements were all kinds of questionable. I came in for a bouquet and usually find that Vons grocery stores are better in the flower dept. then other stores. If you are coming in for flowers then run away and save yourself.I will note though that when the manager asked how everything was and I told him, he seemed genuinely interested. He thanked me for saying something and apologized.

It’s pretty obvious that they leave food sitting around in the back unrefrigerated, including meat. This becomes very obvious in the summer heat, when most of the food I’ve bought here is spoiled. They sell meat that is rotten, even if it’s not past the sell by date. The place is dirty, the carts are dirty, the stuff on the shelves is stale or moldy. Staff get away with disappearing in the back and not showing up when needed and called.

Small store, but it is close to home and I can always find what I need. The employees working in the produce department are extremely friendly and helpful.

This location (Santa Fe Ave. in Vista) is the worst! There were a number of salads that were expired and when I asked about the expiration date, the cashier said that it was ok because technically it was still edible. Since there were very few salads to choose from I asked for a discount and the cashier said that I had to pay the full price for the expired salads. I couldnt believe her answer. Please refer to the picture for a visual on how empty their shelves normally are. To make matters worse, things that you would normally find at other Vons locations, you cant find in this one. This Vons needs to close. It is always the same issue with lack of inventory. We need a different grocery store in this location.

Front end supervisor refused me access to their “public” restroom. I normally wouldn’t complain, but ever since COVID, public restrooms are hard to find and I’m on the road for work. Grocery stores are reliable places to stop, wash my hands, and grab lunch...but not this location.

Good. Local Vons somewhat dated and smaller then newer stores. Prices like every where else have skyrocketed.

Always well stocked. Staff are all friendly and efficient.

Used the coin star machine, the charges are outrageous $0.10 just to count the coins and a 12.5% processing fee.

The cashier Kaura, is always friendly to me and makes it a personal experience. Shes the reason I keep shopping here! Shes funny and kind and gets me out the door immediately during the pandemic. Love her!!

This store is good and has some good employees. Some are very sweet to help the customers. Compared to the other Vons.

The customer service at this location is outstanding. I really appreciate how they have laid out the store for social distancing. Also, they are wonderful about reminding people to cover their nose. We are in trying times right now and these are essential workers. I so appreciate what they do.

Found everything easily. The Store Mgr was working the checkout like. A very funny guy and you could tell his staff appreciated him pitching in.

They sell food. Cool employees. Expensive. 9 doller fabric softener.

They basically told me their restrooms are perpetually out of order an had no clear idea of then they might be fixed. I seriously think that many places like this are closing them off on purpose. I will be sure to boycott this store until they get it figured out better!

Dont come here unless you like standing in line..I walked in on my 30 minute lunch break during a 15 hr day as an essential worker. There was a line of TWENTY THREE (I counted twice) people waiting for the 2 open cashiers, with 4 registers sitting closed, and a group of 4 or 5 employees just watching the line of customers. Didnt make it to the cashier before my break ended, so I didnt get to eat today.There is ALWAYS a line here.

I love their customer service and the fact that they had the safety precautions like have to wear a mask, one way aisles, and maintain six feet from the start. I only wish more of their customers understood what one way means.

The layout and the customer service at this store are top-notch. However pricing can be suspect. Get the Fab 5 and anything else on sale. Otherwise I would caution going on a full shopping trip here. Regular things can often be severely overpriced, defeating any gains from sale items. So I repeat, most things you must buy on sale, the so-called Fab5 being the best. You must buy a total of five items from that list, in any combination to qualify. Once youre in the know its a great place to shop.

This is probably the smallest Vons in Southern California. Despite its diminutive size, they do a good job cramming as much as they can into such a small store. All of the store personnel are friendly and helpful and if you shop at the right time, there are many bargains to take advantage of!

Cashier was very helpful & friendly. I had an issue with my Vons gift card not being able to be scanned & he knew immediately what to do and was able to remedy the issue very quickly.

Very courtesy cashier and bagger lady made me feel very welcomed Thank U, not very many stores have that

Let me tell you when you pull into Vons first thing you want to do is open your door turn your car off Open Your Door Patricia from car go and get what you want to get stay at least five feet away from people and dont let him talk on you make sure you carry an extra handkerchief or something so you can at least offer it to him but really bonds is a good place to shop let me tell you I really enjoy it there

Jocelyn (I think that was her name she was an older hispanic woman working as a cashier) was very rude. She messed up our order and tried to blame it on us. There was no point in trying to rectify the situation she had already made up her mind that we were the problem even though she was ringing us out wrong. Definitely wont be back.

As Vons stores go this is a small one. Staff is very nice.

Got my holiday turkey there. Also accidentally left my phone in the shopping cart and did not realize it until I got all the way home. And so grateful that the employee that found it was honest and conscientious. My phone was waiting for me safely in the lost and found at the service desk. Many thanks and deep gratitude for what turned out to be a heartwarming and encouraging experience.

Visiting from Oregon where there is Safeway, the store is well maintained and clean, with courteous staff. They used the store club card after I was advised that my Safeway club card would work if I entered the phone number. Both numbers that I tried did not seem to take. In any case some of the cashiers could speed up the checkout process to avoid long lines if they chatted less. just and observation. Self checkout terminals would also be great for shoppers with just a few ( 5 ) items or or on tight time line.

I only go here only when I absolutely have to. Prepare to wait in line for a while, they only have 2 cashiers and 1 is express so really only 1. Store needs more baggers too, the cashiers constantly ring everything up then wait til the transaction is basically over to bag all the groceries which takes longer than the transaction does.

The employees are pretty nice and you can always find good deals . Its pretty close by so I dont mind shopping for groceries here every once and a while to save gas. The only times I had issues they were very quick to fix the issue. Not to mention every once and a while they run bigger promotions to stack onto their sale prices.

The store is a little on the older side, but the store clerks were very friendly. The manager went out of his way to help us look for a product. The store was clean. I will definitely make it a point to return to this store

Very friendly employees, great liqour department, great deals and wide selection of wine! Produce is always fresh, there is always someone tending the produce department and greet you as soon as you walk into that department. I love that store!

Went in a couple handful of times. True what someone else said that it is clean, organized and staff seem to be friendly. Fridays, sometimes they have 5.00 good deals.

Vons is clean and well stocked. I wasnt very happy about waiting in a line to checkout with only one cashier open.

Vons is a very good grocery store. They have very nice produce and meat at this Vons.They also have great 10 for 10 specials on numerous items that are both edible and hygiene related. They have fantastic baked goods and doughnuts. They have a service desk and take credit, debit and cash. They sell just about anything that you need at a fairly reasonable price and the store is clean, quiet, and well organized.

The covid setup they have is bad i will not be shopping there until it goes away

Store is well kept and at the employees are friendly. Everything you would need for your shopping needs but I find the items very overpriced. You can find the same items at a grocery outlet for half the price. Great vegetarian section which is missing in many grocery stores.

Store is old. Gentleman in produce is fantastic. Always asks how you are. Great in customer service. He saves their non competitive prices. It seems most urgents hang out in the parking lot which is filthy. I go there when there is no where else open. It used to be a class act 20 years ago. Down town Vista has turned into a barrio

I love this Vons! The employees are incredibly nice and helpful. This is my local store and even though the prices arent the best in town, the customer service is and that is what keeps me coming back .... Almost daily!

Easy to get to but maybe its just me...but the lines are 8 miles long! Checkout takes twice as long as you might spend in the store... At least. Lines are horrificly time consuming. Great cashiers but man... To busy at times for its size.

Ehrin the short but tough looking manager went out of his to help us with a can do positive attitude. He personified Customer service and definitely should be an example of the perfect upper class professionalism that that Vons is known for!

This is a very small Vons store and does not have all the products thst larger stores have. They also do not have the free item on Tuesday which was a real disappointment. The staff were friendly and it wasnt too busy.
