Prompt attention! Quality testing and service. Delightful people very skilled in diagnosis of hearing issues and recommendations for hearing aids. Great experience for my first hearing aids!
Note: This is a review on the hearing test service, and not on products. I am a Kaiser healthcare member and since Kaisers audiology department does not have any available appointments until about 5 months from now they had me do my hearing test at HearUSA. One of the bad things about doing this is that since this is outside of the Kaiser system there was a bunch of paperwork to fill out. Ugh. The staff at HearUSA was helpful and friendly. The audiology technician that I worked with was easy to work with, and very knowledgeable. They did comprehensive hearing tests on me in a soundproof booth including playing a series of tones at various frequencies at various levels to create a chart of my hearing. They also performed tests for word comprehension. At the end of the tests they showed me the results, and printed a copy for me. They also gave me a demo of a set of hearing aids programmed to correct for my hearing problems. As I spoke to the technician about the issues that I had with the hearing aids the technician reprogrammed the units to correct the problems. He also showed me a few hearing aid alternatives including units that look more like earbuds instead of the over-the-ear style which I personally dont care for. The hearing aids themselves are quite expensive. The Siemens units that I tested were around $5000, and that was with the Kaiser discount. The earbud style hearing aids are around $4000 for a set. These look like great products, but a bit out of my price range. I was also happy that there was no hard sell on the products.
This is an excellent hearing aid shop with terrific customer service during and after the sale. Highly recommended.
Everyone is outstanding. They couldnt do better.
