If you need motorcycle fairings Airtech is the company to seek. Nothing fancy here, its a large manufacturing warehouse, dusty as all hell with fiberglass, carbon fiber parts being created and stored here. I ordered full set of Corse race fairings for my 1993 Ducati 888 SPO via email and phone and drove to their Vista location to pick them up 2 weeks later. I took a tour of the warehouse by owner Kent Riches and spoke of projects from some well known racers and owners. The 1 hour drive was well worth the experience.
I had my order picked up & have emailed & called multiple times with no response to when they will refund what they originally charged me at the time of the order for shipping. Being from the motorcycle industry I always thought there was a certain level of respect amongst the community but obviously not. Make sure you dont let them lead you on with we are looking into it & will have the accounting department get back to or we credited you it should be on your next credit card statement make sure you file with your credit card company immediately as a fraudulent credit card charge
Great communications. Excellent product. Damaged product arrived, no hesitation to rectify the issue. Would do business again!
So far so good. Walt is a great guy. Brought my frame down to try on some things. He helped with fitting tank, seat, and full fairings to bare frame. Very friendly and helpful. Will update this review and rating when pick up finished order.Update: picked up my finished tank. Walt helped me fit it to my frame. Found an issue which couldnt be readily corrected. However, Walt and I came to an agreement on recourse. Overall, I am very happy with the Airtech team and have updated my initial rating to 5 stars.
Absolutely the worst motorcycle parts company... no the absolute worst company I have ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. Fist and foremost the initial problem was due to Air Tech being out of stock in the foam I wanted. Ok no big deal! I decided to wait for them to send me the product once it was ready instead of taking my money back. WRONG DECISION! Its been 4-5 months now. No word on the status of the product but theres not doubt in my mind that Im never getting the seat foam or my money back. I had questions about my order on a tank and a seat cowl. I tried to talk to their sales rep about them a few times with no response back for weeks until I resent my messages only to wait another week until response. Wasnt helpful anyways... also I know that returns arnt their policy but I was told that the tank would fit into the frame of my bike... and to my pleasant surprise it didnt! I reached out to the company asking if they could work a deal wit my on a return and to my lucky they responded with the simple douche response of we do not accept returns no apologies. No kind words of any magnitude. I think I should also mention that their products are WAY OVER PRICED. look Im one who will pay more for a quality product and I usually will in my day to day life. But as soon as I opened the box with my tank and cowl I was extremely upset with how terrible of a job they did on my order. The glass was think, brittle, and opaque. I WOULD SUGGEST TO SHOP ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!
INCREDIBLE quality, INCREDIBLE service. Ive been ordering from Airtech for about 7 years. I have built several hundred bikes over that period of time, and I have dealt with a lot of vendors; Airtech is at the top of my favorites list. Theyve worked closely with me (from the other side of the country mind you) to ensure fitment, (which isnt hard to do since their parts fit so well), since the days when I was a backyard garage builder. If you care about the fit and finish of your machine, look no further, and, thank you to guys over at Airtech!!
Ordered some historic race replica parts for a throwback build on a more modern bike. was happy that parts i was looking for were even available because i have unusual, non mainstream tastes. the handmade parts took a while to show up however i expected this and was fully disclosed by airtech. i am still enamored by the fact that when you place an order, a guy goes in the back, pulls a mold out, and makes YOUR parts by hand, with whatever options you specified. this experience is very unique in motorcycling and feels very organic. i ended up not being able to complete my project bike because life intervened however i was able to re-home the project to another enthusiast who is excited and able to finish it and he was thrilled to hang custom bodywork on his new project.having boat racing experience myself, i was able to recognise the quality of the glass layup, fairly dense for not being vacuum bagged, no excess resin. no voids or air pockets. good stuff.if you want bodywork for your gsxr cheap because you crashed it wheelying down the freeway in between traffic, go buy some chinese s*#t off ebayif you are serious about what your looking for, have some perspective about what quality hard work and handmade stuff might cost, and apreciate that, then maybey you should give airtech a call.
Purchased a motorcycle part from this company, was told I would have to wait for it to be made. All good so far.I paid immediately with Paypal.Sent them an email after around 6 weeks asking where my order was...my emails were ignored.Opened a paypal case which got their attention, and in return I got insulted and told that I was the scammer and had no HonorIf you like getting messed around, ignored then insulted, and STILL NOT GETTING THE GOODS YOU PAID FOR.then this is the place for youBEWARE PEOPLE..THIS COMPANY HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.If I treated my clients like this I would be out of business.NOT RECOMMENDED
Best!
