Theyre wide selection of beautiful fabric patterns makes it really hard to choose just one- but it allows you to brainstorm different ideas! Went here for a school project and left more than satisfied!

When they have sales the prices are pretty good but theyre overly expensive when paying regular price for items.They do, however, have the most realistic looking faux floral and the best quality grapevine wreaths.The store is always clean and well organized. The employees are excellent!! Theyre cheerful. helpful and they do a fantastic job of checking customers out quickly so youre not waiting in line for a long time.

I went to the store yesterday to buy somethings for my dog and some craft supplies. When I went to go check out Cheryl the manager was very rude to me and my friend that needed craft supplies as well. I was going to use my cousins coupon and got asked Do you live with her and why do you want to use it. While I was being checked out the other cashier asked her kindly can she go sweep floral and the manager ever so rudely goes I guess but hurry up I have other things to do. Highly do not recommend going to this store when Cheryl is there would rather have had someone else.

Being a crafter at heart I am always partial to a craft store. Joanns is my go to for all things sewing. They carry tons of other stuff to but I love the selection they have in fabrics, threads, and accessories for my machine. I have a brother machine but they carry universal parts. Every bit if fabric Ive purchased has come from here. They also have coupon on their site.

I called in to see if they had any heat transfers. They asked what size and I said 9 x 9. I actually didn’t know that that was a CRICUT easy press. I already have one and I don’t like to use it for my business because it’s small and hard to use. I wish they had a regular heat press.

I really enjoyed myself today. I have been searching for a serenity loom. Jo Anns carries KB. It is sturdy. I had an infinity loom from Hobby Lobby. When I finally took it out, there was a broken peg. I had never looked inside. And I had it 2 years before looking. Very flimsy.The staff were excellent. I had called 1st to see if they had it. Yarn was on sale. They had all kinds of sales. They have the largest selection of yarn. Large selection of everything imaginable.I only had one problem unrelated to the store. My stupid phone would not load the app for John Anns.Well it will be there next time.Thank you for a wonderful experience. I got what I needed.I am a happy knitter onto my next project.I went back today. I am even more impressed. They are so incredibly helpful. My daughter fixed my phone so I could get my app. I saved so much money. Almost 50 dollars.Jo Anns, I wish you were next door.I watched a lady sewing I guess by computer. Embroidery. That was amazing as well.I was able to find yarn I was missing on a project of mine. That was another bonus. By having such a large selection, and multiple sales, you get what you need at incredible savings.

Joanns is SO much easier to navigate and shop at than Michaels or Hobby Lobby! I am an artist, and wanted to buy canvases and new brushes. (Im not independently wealthy, so am limited to buying the level 1 canvases at Michaels, when they are on sale.) I went to Joanns today, as I am handicapped, and the weekend crowds and lines at the other 2 stores are a nightmare for me. Now, onto my experience!! Joanns has a go cart with a smaller deep basket for a handicapped person! What an awesome suprise! The aisles were a bit wider, making it easier to see what is on the low shelves. Everything was 25% off! I got a few very nice brushes. Now, the canvases!They were different brands than I am familiar with and visually, of better quality. Now the zinger! They were ALL 70% off! I put the multipaks back and, for the first time ever, bought all single wrapped canvases: 10 of them!! I passed the fabric on my way to the front, and saw that the home decor fabric also was sizably marked down, so got a beautiful piece for a project Ive been putting off for a few years. A clerk offered to carry the roll of fabric to the cutting table without my asking! Plenty of employees cutting fabric and manning the cash registers. I had to download the store app for the 25% off everything. I know I happened to go when there were incredible markdowns. But, I chose to go there over the 2 other stores, NOT knowing about the sales! I would highly recommend Joanns!

Team members that had masks werent wearing them properly and when answering questions stood closer than I was comfortable with considering the current pandemic conditions that necessitated a visit to Joanns in the first place. Getting yardage cut required taking a number but I was called in less than 5 minutes. Good sales, clean and well-stocked. The range of prices within the type of fabric I wanted was good but much higher than Ive noticed fabric by the yardage costing before. Unless you enjoy sewing your own clothes, apparently there is little incentive to making your own clothing these days.

Usually I have no problem with the store,but today I went to purchase a Brother sewing machine model CS7205 that was in the last sale email I got. I walked to the sewing machine area, I didnt see the one in the sale so I asked the clerk, who was sitting in that area and as soon as I said the brand, I was told that they dont carry that brand. I said that it was in the sale ad. He stated that that area was leased for Viking machines and did not have Brother or Singer. When I got to the check out area, I was told all the machines they have in the store would have been in that area and that the one I wanted probably didnt make it on the truck.My problem is that model is not found anywhere on the internet and if it is on sale while supplies last, does that apply to online, in store or both. It appears to me to be false advertising. The clerk in the sewing machine area was all kinds of rude and did not offer any other explanation nor even tried to show me something that might be comparable. This was a very unpleasant and disappointing visit.

The best place to ho when you need/looking for something to craft or make . good employees and friendly. They seem go be treatated right by the company

Found what I needed 5minutes before closing. As soon as I walked threw the doors I was greeted nthen reminded of their closing time. With the crazy covid if it were other establishment, youd get straight rude acknowledgments that they are closing. Whether or not you tell them I know what ur getting n wont be long at all. Joanns is very professional and welcoming.

I have went to this establishment for over 25 years with my aunt and grandmother and now one of my best friends. The Establishment is laid out well and everything is easy to find. My friend and I had to have some fabric cut to a custom size and a young lady helped us immediately and responded back with our instructions twice. She did a perfect job and this will make our project extremely easy! Great job to everybody that works here and thanks for being the same great store for so many years. :-) :-)

This company stole $245 from me. It canceled my order and said I wouldnt be charged and yet I was still charged. one of their employees said that they would refund me, so in good faith I bought the same machine that they used to steal from me the first time. Now, Im basically down $500 because this company has no customer service. if you call customer service, the only thing it does is send you to a message that tells you you need to contact via email. The problem with that, is that nobody contacts you back. You just send an email that goes nowhere.

But again,once they start talking to a customer,service slows even more down as it is because only 1 reg is open during peak. When about 10+ are in line,help gets called that often take their sweet time.Not enough handicap parking!. Gotta walk some to entrance.Often not enough shopping carts. No motorized wheelchair,only one and its a manual push. Staff is good,knowledgeable.Got clean bathroom. Well lit. Well organized.

I can almost always find what I am looking for there. Employees are friendly and helpful. The store is arranged well. That makes locating items easier. The prices are usually good and they have great sales.

Generally, this is a great Jo-Anns location. Very clean and well-organized. I rarely leave reviews, but my (several) experiences with a cashier at this location has reduced my enjoyment for shopping at this location. One of the cashiers is incredibly slow and seems to have no concept of hurrying when there is a line of 8 or 9 people and he is the only person at a register. This has happened to me at least 5 or 6 times. On my most recent visit, he had been assigned a task of sorting some clearance cardstock-- which was a job I assume was meant to be done while not helping customers check out. Instead, he stood there doing that and COMPLAINING ABOUT IT while I was using the debit card machine. It took at least 5 extra minutes on my transaction because he was paying no attention at all to what he was supposed to be doing. Also had absolutely no idea how the coupon I had was supposed to work. Again, this is not the first time something like this has happened. I dont live in Waco and have other options of Jo-Anns to go to-- which I will probably start doing a lot more in the future.

Even though I mostly come for the crochet supplies, I think the entire store is a very good source of craft supplies of any kind. The staff are helpful. There are plenty of sales and deals scattered around the store. I hope I can come back soon to buy more.

I keep getting double charged for my purchases made using the Joann app. They charge me once for the original purchase price and then again for the updated price (when items are canceled due to being out of stock)After I get this resolved with their corporate headquarters I will be uninstalling the App and I will never purchase from them again unless I make an in-store purchase only.This is absolutely theft!!!

Nice store. I tried to pay with a debit card, and it declined it twice. I knew the acct. was OK, but the clerk said not their machine; others had used all day. Just made me feel like she was suspicious. 5 minutes later the card worked fine at another business.

Love that they have such variety and still have things for those of us who cross stitch and embroider.

I have used the same sewing machine for over ten years and it died on me today. I had a sewing deadline and needed an immediate replacement. At 8 p.m. I ran to my favorite store of all time Joanns. I found one in a box ready to go and I could not even purchase it. I asked several cashiers and they confirmed that the viking store closes at 7 p.m. and I cant purchase an already in a box sewing machine. All I literally have to do is pick up the box and take it to the cashier. One of the two cashiers I was talking to left in the middle of our conversation and the other told me to go to Walmart. I was dismissed and disappointed.

Jo-Ann has an amazing selection of fabric, yarn, craft supplies and fine art supplies! Their prices are very reasonable and they are always running many promotions. The best part is that Jo-Ann accepts competitors coupons, paper or online. They also have a great app for discounts and coupons. They will use coupons from you phone with no questions.

Has more than Michaels and Hobby Lobby. A true craft and sewing store with some home decor. Great selection.

They also have a section for learning how to sew, where they teach you to create your own little handmade quilts, aprons and other assortments.

I just called to get pricing on their spray paint. I spoke with a girl named KAT. After she placed me on hold multiple times until the phones ring back to her. She informed me that she wasnt able to reach the person she was trying to contact about the paint. Ive been told her I basically felt like there should be some employee in that small store that would be willing to offer to go look at their paint selection for me. She then told me I could order it online or come in the store myself! Being new to Waco this will definitely leave a negative impression and I will definitely refrain from stopping at this location to do business ever. Ill spend my money with stores that care about their customer.
