Rude. I felt like they were creeping on us. All around a bad vibes. Greasy haired girl must’ve thought we were stealing even though we very clearly were ready to purchase items. Overall TRASH. We asked a few questions and they were so catty. No professionalism, no understanding of makeup, and no sense of customer service other then yelling across the store... “do you need help” .
3006 and 3007 signs now mask signs...want to control you....stay away. Spend your money where they apperciate you.
I have to give a HUGE shout out to Autumn at the Sephora in *Waco Tx* she was amazing to help me find just what I was looking for. With out me being able to test the foundations she went above and beyond and helped me find the right one and explained throughly the return process should it not work out for me. She was ahhhhmazing!!!!!
No one greeted me or my friend upon walking into the store. When I asked for assistance, the two young ladies working were annoyed because we interrupted their professional conversation. Ultimately they lost a sale and I went to the MAC store in Dillards where the customer service was EXCELLENT and they made a good profit!!!!
Regina is so much help! Super friendly and very helpful! Will definitely be going back!
I shop for most of my beauty products at Sephora. I went into the Waco store the other day looking for a new eyebrow product because I wasn’t satisfied with the one I had been using. Simone helped me. She told me that the product I had was the best on the market. I told her it was probably an application problem—I’m okay at makeup but I’m not great. She showed me how to apply it properly.Simone was very patient and friendly. I appreciated that she helped show me how to make the product I already had work instead of pressuring me to buy something new. I will ask for her when I go back!
I booked an appointment for a makeup application/consultation to switch up my routine. The staff (I’m sorry I’m terrible with names and cannot remember who helped me!) were really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It was a great experience and I’ll definitely be back!
The staff is usually helpful and polite. Occasionally an employye is inexperienced or unhelpful but its rare from my experience. I wish they would staff a little better so all customers could get the service they need but if you have time to wait theyll get to you. They also could display a bit better. Often Im wandering around for a while looking for a new release.
I dont know if I visited on a bad day for them, I understand it is right after christmas but the store was horrible. All the testers were nasty and mostly destroyed. The product availability was very limited as well. There was only about 2 employees in the store.. they were very nice and polite but you could tell they were swamped.
While the staff were very friendly, there was only two of them there on a Saturday lunch time. One was busy doing make up consultations and the other disapered from the register to get a product from elsewhere for a customer, so couldnt really ask anyone for help.Product availibity was terrible. I tried 4 different foundations and 2 concealers but my shade was unavailable in all 6.We need a stand-alone store in Waco.
Got kicked out while trying to clean a mess my friend accidently made. :/ told the lady we were trying to clean it up after she sharply told us to get out. She pointed and told us No. Get out. This is the first time an incident like this happened. Love this store but the staff hasnt real nice.
Every time I go to this Sephora I always spend at least 30 minutes waiting to be assisted by an employee because they are seriously understaffed and extremely unhelpful as well. I only go into this Sephora in cases of emergency or to return online purchases because they never keep their selves stocked and I basically get ignored whenever I go in. I don’t get treated this way at other locations, stand alone or other wise, and they eat this location treats me as a customer sometimes deters me from shopping with Sephora as a whole. I would not recommend visiting this location for leisurely shopping, unless you want to be treated poorly.
Dont even bother having color IQ done here, It does work and other stores do a great job but the Waco, JC Penney store either has theirs calibrated wrong or the lighting is just too poor for it to register properly. That said I have to say that I am VERY disappointed in what I see at Sephora in general. I have been to one of the Austin stores several times and could not get anyone to help me. The majority of their staff stands around and visits with each other. The do not even seem to care if you give the appearance of someone intending to buy something or not. I have watched them treat old, young, dressed to the nines, sweats, etc, doesnt seem to matter, they just dont want to work. I have walked out of Sephora at lease 3 times in the last 6 months without buying anything and will only go there if I cant get to ULTA, I dont even care if I get to use that 500 points I accumulated, just dont want to deal with them anymore.
Love this store, wish the staff was a little more friendly.
So I went in there Friday to pick out my first high end foundation in a LONG a time. I chose a Becca foundation and got the Anastasia angled brow pencil. (Btw two people had just recently stolen a palette so I got ran off by the employees thinking I was stealing-obviously you missed your chance and let the real criminals get away but you want to up your security on me. Nice try guys, this girl doesnt steal but good job) Tried the foundation on a couple of times at home and realized this foundation wasnt for me. Many people suggested that I return it (they take them back if you have used less than 75%) and get a new one. They also suggested that I get color matched and to have one of the girls help me find a good foundation for my skin. So I get there and this girl is helping another lady (mind you she is actually helping her and suggesting products, the whole 9) So I patiently wait in line to see who can help me next. That girl gets done and rings the woman she was helping, tells me to take a seat and shell be right with me. Well another girl comes over huffing and puffing I guess because I needed help and it was an inconvenience for her. So she matches me and tells me to look on an iPad and is like here theres all the foundations our website matches for your skin type. And Im thinking cool dont you think I havent done this at home? I wanted an human expert opinion but anyways she gets one that I suggest and comes back. They are both the wrong shade. She looks at the one I picked out that I was questioning if it was a match before I asked for help and come to find out it was. So she searches it on me. I ask her if she can put it on my face like the other girl was helping her lady out with like showing her step by step. She goes oh here is the brush I used to apply my foundation. I dot it all on my face and buff it out and leaves me by myself to do it. Im like okay cool youre a real big help so I end up doing it myself, making my purchase, and leaving. Thank you so much Waco for bringing another big city business and ruining it with your staff and the destruction of the community (the store always looks a hot mess) Ill go to ulta or order online from now on.
There are never enough employees working only like 1 or 2. They rarely have anything I’m looking for. I asked for help one day and was never helped. When I go I never am greeted, only the “adults” are and I’m 17 years old, I am always looked over and never taken seriously.
All the brands I went to buy I was told we dont sell them here? There was only one worker on a weekend day? Waco needs a FULL Sephora!!!! Period.
