I went to this coin shop at their new Hewitt location and met the new owners. They are awesome. They took the time to help me find what I wanted, were very knowledgeable, and just really nice people. The day I went the whole family was helping out and it made for a really relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend you go by and check it out.

Had an app at 1030 am. We live 45 minutes away. We showed up 15 minutes early so that we were prompt. At 1030 we went to door and it was locked, we tried calling for 45 minutes and no one would answer. Door was never unlocked. I would not recommend this dealer at all. Very unprofessional and should just close up for good. 😡

Called today inquiring about selling a valuable coin. They would not give any offer over the phone. I live an hour away, so I am not going to drive 2 hours round trip to just get an offer. Your loss!!!

Ive spent several hundreds of dollars (a little over $500) at Century Coin on Richland Dr. and have been attended by the same anti-social and unfriendly lady who is usually always there. If she not wasting time at her desk, shes trying to keep the large black dog under control.I left the store feeling embarrassed and offended today. Heres what happened: She was waiting on a customer at the counter, so I had a seat on the sofa. Firstly, I didnt get a greeting when I was buzzed into the store. After I sat for a few minutes while she was still helping another guest, she asked May I help you with something?. I replied Im returning a text right now but Ill look around in a moment. 7 minutes later, she asked the same question, and I replied, Im transferring money to my checking account and almost done.She proceeded to tell me that if Im in the store I have to be helped, and that we try not to let people loiter. I got up and left the store. She tends to be very rude, and I dont get why they have a sofa and chairs if customers cant have a seat. I dont want to pull the race card, but it was obvious I wasnt welcomed. Even in times past when I bought currency and coins, she never proved sociable nor friendly. Today is the last day Ill ever step foot in Century Coin. Guess it is better to order online from Littleton Coin Company where I feel welcomed, and can sit without being offended. Better selection and prices are better online too.

Mike Wise: I dont like the antisocial lady more than anyone else. I went there a long while back trying to see what kind of coins they had for sale. Its time for the store to be opened, but no one opened the door. I waited about thirty minutes, no opening of doors, hello or nothing. I called later and left a message, no response. So later a few weeks thinking about it again, I called and wah la! someone was there and answered with a rude attitude. My husband went there one time without me knowing, he said that she was rude to him too. I told him not to buy there. We like to go to Reliable Coins in Woodway off of 84 exit Estates Dr. I havent had any problems with them and am always greeted at the door. I have not sold anything but I have bought. We like the foreign coins which matter nothing to hardly anyone but they are fun to collect. I cant go to Century Coin because my passive aggressiveness would get to me.... :)

Not a problem with the place, love the place.. But the same chick is always working here, and she seems to be nice to an extent, but is so rude in tone and very very very impersonable. No greetings, very matter of fact. Not someone youd even wanna even hand your valuable coins to.

Incredibly knowledgable and very fair prices here for anything coin related you could want. If youre looking for coins in Waco or surrounding areas this is the place to come. I wouldnt show up right at 10 since they arent always there but rather come on lunch hour or in the afternoon.

Knowingly bought and sold stolen coins and then refused to assist the police in recovery of the items. I truly hope the DA pursues charges and will continue to make sure I do all I can to assist in that. A dishonorable group that doesn’t deserve your business.

The worst place ever staff was rude and poor knowledge of jewelry. I took a 10kt. Braclet and this lady told me that China has never made a real. Piece of gold since China was China lmao. So she refused to test it so i asked her if i could pay to test it she laughed in my face and said I know its fake. Get out my store . so i go to waco jewlers and immediately get 250 cash. And it was 10kt. . I talked to my friend and he said the same lady told him he had a fake to and he went to differnt shop and they told him his item was real also. Terrible place. Terrible staff terriable. All the way round .if u wanna be judged and lied to then this is your place

Great store to buy or sell your gold, silver and coins.Sold 4 gold bars, and bought a rare Ancient coin while there.

As a selller, you can sell any piece at a certain amount under spot. If you’re expecting a nuanced negotiation with collectible, well-aged pieces (eagles, leafs, etc.) it is a waste of time. Perhaps will consider buying here, but not too great from the seller’s perspective.

Showed up a little before the opening time listed on the web and on the door posting (10AM-6PM). Waited an hour and 15 min past the 10 AM aforementioned opening time. Tried calling and the VM stated a different set of operating hours (9AM open time). My contact info could not be left because their VM was full.
