If youre in the area it is worth the stop. It has a fun atmosphere with tons of different little creative boutiques in tents. If you get hungry there are food trucks lined up. The bakery was lined out the door, so I didnt get to check that out, there was live music playing with people either sitting on bean bags or on picnic tables. Its nice if the next time I come back this way, and I have a friend or two with me well stop by, and check it out again.

Anyone who is a fan of Chip and Joanna Gaines or their HGTV show fixer upper, must take the time to make the trip out to their shops in Waco. The Silos home of the Magnolia Market. This is a beautifully designed and very welcoming place, a perfect stop for the designer, or those who live for a well manicured monochromatic landscape! Filled with home decor storefronts, local vendors design elements, furniture, food trucks galore, a church that is over 100 years old, outdoor yard games and baseball field, coffee shop, bakery, Souvenirs, handbags, clothing and more. A family friendly atmosphere. This was one of my favorite places to visit this summer to collect design ideas and find inspiration for my own home and projects. Please make the trip, you won’t regret it. Happy travels-A

You could spend the entire day here and people watch or read a book and not be bored at all! I wish that you could get a peek into the silos as they are a Waco landmark but it was roped off. If you’re a fan of Chip and Joanna Gaines or their show, Fixer Upper, chances are you’ve heard of the Magnolia Silos. The Silos feature food and home décor all in one cute location. The Silos, Seed + Supply, Press, and Bake Shop take up several city blocks and provide a great space for families to shop, eat, spend some time outdoors, and design their dream home. It’s really a great place to spend a couple hours. Our new favorite additions include the Katy Ballpark and the Old Church. They add such a sweet, hometown element to the Silos District and we all found something different that we loved about the space.

Great place to hang out! Magnolia has created a great common community space for Waco! Dad & kids enjoyed playing ball on the diamond, and ladies enjoyed shopping. Plenty of clean public restrooms and eating options. Even if your not going to buy anything, this is a great place to hang out. Magnolia is quite an experience. We visited in early September which they noted was their slow season. We arrived early on a Thursday, around opening, and there were no lines anywhere. Shopping around the markets and the bakery was fun (gluten free choices were tasty). Everyone was super friendly. The grounds are meticulously maintained. Im sure this place gets crazy busy in other times and the weekends. We didnt get lunch on site (grabbed bbq elsewhere in town) but they had a lot of choices.

Gorgeous! Most people talk about the main store but what I feel is the best part is the coffee shop and the mini-stores. The church is incredibly beautiful and will only get better as it ages. The food trucks are great and I would highly suggest utilizing the umbrellas to walk around and shade yourself. As much as you shop, try and notice the details. The men’s bathroom had some awesome old school marble and metal schluter.

The market is beautiful. It is spacious with plenty of seating. There were tons of shopping options, and although we didn’t buy much, it was a pleasure to have someone welcome us at every shop. Rain or shine, the market also had complimentary umbrellas. Hospitality at it’s finest.I do wish that the coffee shop and the bakery were in the same building (would need more cashiers) for the sake of convenience. Although we waited 25 minutes in line for some baked goods, Jojo’s chocolate chip cookies were worth it! I understand why she states that hers are the best.

This is a nice place. A nice place in many aspects. First, its not just a store, but a family compound. Thoughtfully designed family activity spaces amongst retail buildings. Second, lots of clean restrooms. Third, local food trucks with an adjoining picnic table area. But most of all, Magnolia shows how a business can restore and incorporate itself in a small town. It is very obvious Magnolia wants to share its success within the community. The Gainess have set a new standard for retail stores . I dont mind spending my money here.

Really great place to come and hang out. It was a bit crowded at the bakery so we did not venture into the shop. All other aspects of the place were fabulous. The layout, the play areas, the sitting spaces, the eating spaces are well done. We got surprised by how early most of the food trucks closed. Missed our chance at a gourmet cheese sandwich by 30 minutes. All in all a great visit. One item needs to be addressed is a family bathroom. My daughter is in a wheelchair and needs assistance. We ended up going into the womens restroom. This included my son-in-law with my wife in the handicap stall. Weird because I felt it necessary to let anyone going in know my son-in-law was in there. Hope they can design an area for a family restroom in the future. Go see, go play, have fun and know some of the limitations. Thanks for the response. We were at the restrooms by the seed shop and asked someone working there if you had a family restroom, and they stated to us, this is what you had. If there is an easier way to designate where a family restroom is on the property, it would be a benefit to us. And maybe, we just asked the wrong folks about the location of the family restroom. Thanks again.

I’m from Texas and I’ve been to Waco a few times when Waco was nothing. It’s a very tiny place and was very full of poverty. A place most would say had nothing to offer and certainly not a place anyone would visit on purpose. The Silohs, market and restaurant have brought a lot of tourists to this area that never would’ve thought about Waco. I see development and new hotels coming which is very exciting. This has created jobs it has caused housing values to be increased. Investors are coming in and that always creates more jobs for locals. What they have done here whether people like the prices or not has really created restoration for the city and that is always a wonderful thing to see in small cities that are not doing well like Waco used to be. How they set it up with all the sitting areas and the market is very pretty . As with any brand, of course their prices are higher on certain things but it’s really worth the experience. I went through everything and I got cupcakes at the bakery which I thought were kind of sweet but I’m not a cupcake eater so who am I really to say. Everything is well done and everything is very clean. Most of the staff are very kind, there was a couple that seem to be in a rush at the bakery that aren’t very nice but nothing that you wouldn’t just overlook. The major thing about this place is that it has caused such restoration and brought so much income to the city that never would have happened had they not done this. So for that reason I gave it a five stars and I think they should do more in tiny areas or help people like them in tiny cities to do the same thing. It’s really a nice thing to see

I brought my sister here for vacation as we had visited Magnolia 6 years ago and the shop on Bosque was the only thing open. My husband and I visited in 2019 but that was before their latest additions. We visited on a Monday and got there early so we didnt have much of a wait to get into the main building. The employees are friendly and very helpful. My purchases were well wrapped which helped since we were traveling. We ate lunch at the pizza food truck and it was wonderful. We visited the Silos Bakery and I purchased 4 cupcakes. We had a 25 minute wait and they have installed a tent to keep the sun off the customers. The cupcakes were wonderful! It was nice to see all the new things that had been added since my 2019 visit. If youre a Fixer Upper fan, you need to visit the Magnolia complex.

There are food trucks as well as a separate Magnolia cafe for coffee & teas. It is very busy on weekends as should be expected. And that was it! The 2nd time we went in June and it was so much better because they made the middle area between the Cafe and store into a chill area. You could hang out play games. First, I do have to give credit to Chip and Joanna for all the hard work that they did to make Waco a big tourist destination. I could not believe all the people that were there! There’s even a self guided tour! Unfortunately, I felt like everything in the market was way overpriced and so many of the items that I looked at were made in China. Even though we did not purchase a lot, we had a nice time looking at all the different products. The staff was incredible! They were all very friendly and ready to help however they could. Everyone who worked there had a smile on their face and they truly made the experience more enjoyable. It is also wheelchair accessible. I’ve been to Waco many times over the years, on my way from Dallas to Austin/San Antonio. For the first time, I went and stayed in Waco for a girls weekend and we went to Magnolia in the afternoon. They have expanded a LOT since I had been pre Covid. To be honest.... I wouldn’t probably ever go again. It’s very touristy and everything is so over priced. I love their show and I think all the power to Chip and Joanna for figuring out how to build this empire. But $60 for a candle is excessive. Everything seemed to be over priced. It was fun to look around and see the wedding venue and all the stores but I wish they would make things more affordable. Just not in my budget.

Cute place to go walk around, and thankfully we went on a gorgeous day. We arrived at 10am on a Saturday (which is when its scheduled to open). It was EXTREMELY crowded but it also just recently re-opened from Covid restrictions. The shops are set up as small houses throughout the grounds with lots of outdoor seating options. The items for sale are over priced and not very unique, in my opinion. Recommend going for something to do outdoors more than a shopping experience. However, the food trucks are BOMB. Parking is, well where ever you can find it.

Fun place to shop. A little expensive but I love how downtown Waco has been revitalized!

Magnolia is simply a beautiful family spot that features plenty of seating (covered and uncovered), food trucks, green spaces, a historic baseball field, and more.Writer at ExpertTexan.com

Not particularly a fan of the show (nor do I hate it) but did enjoy the stop. I would like to see more locally made stuff rather than made in China I did find a handcrafted mug that I love. It seems like it would be easy to acquire local/regional handcrafted goods for this aesthetic. Loved my lunch from the food truck. Families with children seem to enjoy the area too. Relaxing for all ages.

A well known couple of house restoration folks from TV have created an entire village in this old industrial part of town. Numerous knick-knack shops, a coffee shop, a bakery (WOW!) and landscaped grounds that are flawless. Prices are higher than hell for items that are actually quite plain, but trendy for some folks. ($32 for a very ordinary tee shirt, for example!) Great place to stroll or sit outside in a courtyard with coffee and literally ANYTHING from that bakery. OMG! 🙀. Go early as crowds build and it can get very busy. I would avoid Saturdays
