I went to the waconia target in the summer of 2021 (8/5/21) to buy some nice men’s shorts for vacation before I went to Hawaii. They LITERALLY had 10 pairs of Men’s cargo shorts size 38-42 (who wears cargo shorts) and that’s it!!!Thanks waconia target for the “wide selection”

Target does a great job filling orders for pickup. They offer great products, and the staff is always friendly!

For some reason the grocery side of the store is full of rude employees who say nothing dont help you or as another person put it dont care to help or are just standing around at the front. On the left side customer service SO FRIENDLY and inviting whats up with that.

Target has pretty much anything you might need.

Normally I love this Target but customer service is slipping. Im afraid to ask for help for fear of getting a big sigh or eye roll. Today I needed a bookshelf that was on a shelf that was too high to lift. I saw the sign Team Lift and went to ask the first person I saw if she could find someone to help lift the bookcase off the shelf. She didnt say anything, just went to get the bookcase herself. She was an older woman, and admittedly, stronger than me. But I wasnt asking that she do the lifting--only to find two people to help--preferrably guys. Instead, she tried to lift it herself, found it was too heavy, and as it was falling on her snapped at me to help her. So I was forced to help lift something I couldnt lift in the first place. I have a heart condition, I had a massive heart attack at the age of 35 and I cannot lift anything over 15 pounds without my blood pressure plummeting. Im kind of upset that I was forced into this position because this woman refused to find two other people to lift the shelf off like the sign said. I felt humiliated over the entire thing and it takes a lot to embarrass me.

Associate Patty helped me to find a printer and helped me to determine that it was a good one. She should get a raise! Another associate helped me check out when the bar code would not scan. Thank you Target!!! Awesome customer service early Saturday morning!!!

There is no Target store at this location on the map. It is located across Hwy. 5 up the hill. I went there last Fall and the parking lot was so crowded for a trick or treat event that it was difficult to park and I never went into the store. It was a hassle.Since my last post the site marker for the map has moved to an accurate location. Still not a fan of the store.

Wife bought a ps5 online after target sent her a notification that they were in stock. Bought it, got the email with the confirmation number, charged our credit card. Drove over an hour to the store to pick it up only to get there for them to tell us we didn’t get one, sorry they can’t guarantee they are in stock. Target....you truly are a poorly run outfit, thanks for wasting my time and money, I have nothing better to do. Your the worst.

I have trouble walking. Targets a large store. I haven t shopped here for years. This allows me the freedom to shop here agian. I love it! I have used the drive up 3 times in the last few days. Thank you so much!!!!

My cousin and I are working on a contract up here in Waconia MN its cold so I needed a few things. At first we were greeted when we came through the door and I made my way around the store and went to the back immediately and bought some ear buds for my phone. I purchased the items in electronics and she gave me a receipt for my purchase. I still wanted to look at some jackets cause Im gonna be here awhile,but when I did so I was being followed as if I was trying to steal something I never felt more humiliated in my life and when I went to purchase jacket the cashier asked to see my bag and scoured through the items I purchased in the back I was holding the receipt in my hand. Hopefully they stop stereotyping people that walks in everyone doesnt steal worst shopping experience ever

AT&T STORE IN TARGET! If I could give negative stars I would! Anthony helped me and messed up my account completely. Didn’t do what I asked added a bunch of things I said I didn’t want that cost me money. Anthony told me I could return a phone, I didn’t even want to begin with, at a regular AT&T store for free, but decided consciously not to tell me that since he activated the phone it would be $55 to return it. THIS GUY IS A SCAMMER.

If i could give them no stars i would. Terrible place to work. Cuts your hours without giving an explanation. Says they will give you more hours and than cut you even more. They want everyone to be safe so they dont want you coming in to work sick at all. But let you go once you call out.

Since COVID has started the Target store in Waconia has stayed true to keeping the store clean and safe for shoppers.

Don’t use drive up or pick up at this store- unless you want to wait 30 minutes or have missing bags. I constantly have issues here. There needs to be some major training. Management is awful as well. Don’t offer the service of drive up if it cannot be done correctly.

I have done drive up many times. This time waited twenty minutes and no one came. Called guest services and no one answered. Called every department until someone answered. I hope this doesn’t happen again or I will not utilize this service anymore.

I love Target but it is SO frustrating how poorly they are stocked! Even if the Target app says its in stock, it often is not. Ive pretty much giving up on this location because I so rarely if ever leave with everything I need. Especially with a toddler along, it is an awful experience.

Everyone was super friendly. The store looked very well organized, clean and the new design gives the store a higher end look. The location is beautiful and the day was perfect with my husband. We found what we were looking for and at very competitive prices. We like that Target takes care of its employees and that is a huge part of why i am loyal to Target over Cub Foods and Walmart.

I love Target in general. Now that this store has been upgraded, I am able to pick up wine and alcohol in one stop. My wish is that they would have included an optical department. Having it become a super store, with full groceries would have been great, too!

The store is beautiful and clean. Easy to navigate. The renovation is just breathtaking! Major PLUS they have a liquor store AND cartwheel offers on the liquor!

Easy to get the items you need and check out fast with different check out and shopping selection for online pick up, delivery, and car pick up. Employees are very polite and ready to help with anything.

They might as well give the security guards sniper rifles because of how prominent they are...

Went to Target Liquor in Waconia, Asked the sales rep how much wine they had of the Roots Cab, she was so polite and professional and after scanning a bottle she told me they had 76 bottles (6.3 cases), I asked her if I could get 3 cases, I drove 40 miles to get there and like that, she was polite and said yes, she went into the back and out came another sales rep and she told me that she would only sell one case because she does not want to run out over the weekend, I said I understand, please is there any chance I could get 2 cases because I drove 40 miles because I live in central MN and not very polite she said NO and turned away, I said I would get one case, as I was completing the sale she told me I need to call in if I want more than a case and thats the only way it could work. said ok, I left and went 11 more miles to the Chaska Target, when I went into the store I was greeted by wonderful customer service and I asked if I could get 2 cases of Roots Cab, she said with a nice smile sure and helped me box up 2 cases and was so caring and easy to work with... I guess my suggestion is to go 11 miles more for great customer service in Chaska. In today’s world and understanding some people want to limit store visits, customer service is so important…

Always friendly and willing to help out. Follows store policies while being helpful and kind. My favorite target. Especially happy with how helpful and nice one of the managers is whenever me or my boyfriend are shopping. Taller skinny blonde. She knows how to give great customer service!

The manager and associate at the Waconia store were very helpful to me. I wanted turkeys that were on sale and they were out of them .They took the time to locate some from another store and I was able to get them thank you so much for your help.

Never been treated so rudely at a Customer Service counter before! Had bought a item and after looking at the receipt noticed I was charged for the Gallon Mason Jar when I had purchased the Half gallon Mason jar, Went a checked to make sure it was not a mistake on my part, in which it did say 9.99 on the shelf and brought my receipt up to the customer Service desk and explained what I had noticed, The lady was very rude from the start of the interaction. She scanned the bar code on the bottom of the jar which rang up the full gallon price. During this time my Daughter had came over as she was done purchasing her items, My daughter pulled the item up on Targets website and the Lady very rudely informed my Daughter that Target doesnt do price Matching in which my Daughter asked Not even from Targets own website in which she replied very rudely NO! Then rudely told my Daughter that she didnt hear a thing the person on the radio said to her that was doing the price check! Ummm my Daughter wouldnt have been talking if you didnt rudely inform her that you dont do price comparison from Targets own website! By this time I had been done being treated and rudely talked to by this lady! And how she was treating my Daughter! That I had decided to return the item in which I was informed by the lady that It would be best that I did! While she was doing the return transaction she informed my Daughter and myself that she had worked there for 5 years and everything was on Camera! Why she felt we needed to know this is beyond me as I was just wanting to be charged the correct amount for the item I purchased! Hopefully Kathy gets a better attitude and Customer Service training or I dont for see her making it another 5 years!

Bought my daughter am Elsa bike and it didnt have a nut for the front tire. The Service Desk staff was so kind. They took it back, helped entertain my 3 year old daughter, and brought up a brand new bike. She LOVES her new bike.

The only reason for the second star is convenience of location.But the layout sucks, can’t find anything and if you wear a plus size good luck with that you basically get 1/8 the selection of clothes to choose from and if you are looking for swimwear or a coverup you have to go online. That to me is ridiculous.

Only had 1 person for the minute clinic and she was on break! Couldnt sign up on the stupid machine because its broken. Went here because I thought it would be quicker, boy was I wrong.

The one item was missing a major part and instructions. I am sure someone had returned it and it was resold. Now I have to make an extra trip back to Target when I do not have the time, I had ordered 2 cool mist humidifiers, exact same model.

Im not a huge target fan but this target is by far the best target I have ever been to. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean store and fast check out. If all the targets were like this one, I might shop there more often!

Thus store has terrible guest service they are rude, they racial profiled a woman with her children [followed her around out of her sight making sure clothes were not being stolen] they didnt know where to tell me to look when I asked where certain things may be. Ive only been in this location twice because I feel I need to rush in and rush out because of the unwelcome feeling the minute you step through the door.

It was quick and easy. It was convenient to order online and then just go pick it up.

If you cant find it at Target, then you might not need it in your life. Great selection of food, housewares, clothes, and toys. Brightly lit and teddy. Employees are eager to assist in tracking down an item.

Its hard to find anything, and there are far too many options. Its exhausting to shop here. Target has really gone off the deep end. Its way easier and cheaper to shop Aldi, Walgreens, dollar stores. You can find what you need quickly without spending hours comparing colors and high prices.

This store is great. I love the help, the self checkouts and the clearance. Always a great selection. One down fall is that typically its busy but I like it none the less.

Evertime I have gone there with a list of groceries they are out of at least two items. It is so frustrating cause they are basic items like, eggs, hashbrowns, French fries etc...I ask myself why do I continue to roll the dice!

I normally am very happy with my experience at this target however, I truly dont appreciate when my boyfriend comes home and feels like a piece of crap because of one of the employees. If youre going to work at a customer service desk you should probably be decent, at the very least, at customer service. He printed off pictures tonight and because of a sticker (from a label maker which obviously means it is not very big and not easy to see) that stated do not print more than 10 pictures on this machine he was made to feel like crap. He printed 15. The lady said to him, you shouldnt have done those that way. Youre not gonna like how they turned out but you probably dont care. He responded with, Im sorry, I just needed them for my daughters daycare tomorrow. She replied with, well its way more expensive this way but you probably dont care. How does this random woman know ANYTHING about what my boyfriend does and does not care about? He obviously cares enough to go out and get pictures printed off and to get diapers and wipes from target late enough that our daughtet is already in bed to make sure she has everything she needs for school the next day. He obviously cares enough to apologize when he realized his mistake. This woman obviously does not care that her job states she should be nice to people. If she wanted to let him know he didnt do something correctly, there were way nicer ways to go about it so my boyfriend does not come home feeling like he shouldnt go back into that target. Luckily for this woman, hes a nicer person than I am and didnt bother to see what her name was however, he did make sure to tell me it was not the nice younger girl that usually works at that counter, it was the older lady with gray hair who is always a little rude.

There’s always great clearance, and it’s a clean store. The staff doesn’t always talk to people (especially near the self check out). Plus on the self checkout they have cameras that record now and it always makes me look much worse than I really do.

I usually never leave reviews but man this Target is awesome! I just moved to Norwood Young America so this will be my go- to target! Very impressed!

This particular Target is ALWAYS out of items they have Cartwheels for. In todays trip they were out of Halloween Oreos, Red Barron pizza, and crescent rolls. It was a wasted trip. This happens all the time and I just cant understand why they wouldnt prepare better. The pizzas in particular have been on cartwheel at least three times and Ive made a special trip only to have them be out. I recommend the longer drive to a different Target or better yet, a different store all together.

I rarely shop here and will avoid when possible. Employees get in front of you with carts, etc., and dont move for customers. One of ten employees is actually friendly or helpful.

The customer service has gotten much better lately. They are really friendly and are pretty helpful in finding what you need in the store.

The place is filled with people who dont want to work. Constantly whenever I go I see a bunch of employees sitting on their phones, not to mention, in groups. I asked for help from them but they snickered and continued on their phones. Plus the store is going through a remodel, so why wouldnt these people be helping those who need it. Not to mention, noticed the employees following a poor latino woman around thinking she was going to steal. This store needs to get its but into gear and shift hard, and if I was there as a manager, Id smack every phone out of their hands to ask them a god damn question. So sick and tired of seeing that.

Terrible customer service, immature staff that talks and laughs about customers within hearing distance. Cant keep their sale prices and promotions straight. Everyone will give you a different answer. Manager actually refused a coupon because it was so called expired when in fact it clearly said it expires that day. The register person was about to issue me my discount back and manager stopped her, probably pocketed the money. Go to chaska!!!! It might be further but they are kind, want to see you save money plus its got full grocery.

Used to go here all the time was always a great and organized place. Staff were always helpful and friendly.

Their phone case selection is all iPhones and they have a hard time ordering product so its in stock. They also got rid of the photo printing area. A dumb idea in my opinion. It was renovated to add something we dont need, another area to buy liquor from but then got rid of the photo printers. What a joke. Waconia isnt full of alcoholics but even target wants us to be.

Terrible store! Shelves are never stocked... And when my family went into the store we had a child yelling from the same isle we were in, hes black!!! And his father didnt say or do anything that part isnt Targets fault however it have the Waconia area a bad vibe... I will not be returning to this store!!!

Shelves are ALWAYS empty! Never have items in stock! For just renovating a store they should have everything clean and stocked up for everyone to enjoy. Instead there’s more space and even less items than there was before the renovation. Come on target!! Waconia really doesn’t have much for grocery options and now you won’t stock the shelves?!? And the staff needs to be more focused on working and helping out customers than gossiping and being on their phones. Seems more like a high school lunch room than a target store... smh

However it doesn’t matter how many people say “it’s ok” or “stay out of waconia if you don’t like it” it is still not ok! The people of waconia do not own target and target as a corporation should do something about their bully employees!!

Just watched someone being racially profiled at this exact STORE, It sux to be viewed a certain way and then treated badly, because of what someone thinks of you and your race. This is a big buisness, how awful.

This Target is brand new, spacious, and well laid out. The map is wrong. The Target is located on the very edge of town in the Southeast corner. Coming into Waconia from the East on 5 youll see it on the left at the first light. Its only 5 minutes from Crown College and has a Starbucks and Pizza Hut Express inside! Woot! Groceries and housewares as well.

We love our Target. All we need is Super Target now.
