What an absolutely amazing dining experience this was. Friends, I have reviewed a lot of places over the years but this one is definitely deserving of a great review.First off, this place is located in a small peacefull town, just off the beaten path. Easy street parking up front and spaces in back. Very clean and cozy as you enter with a layout reminiscent of a relaxed coffee shop up in the front and a local pub in the back. The bar was well stocked with a good variety of your typical things as well as a great mix of whiskey, Bourbon and beers.But lets talk about the FOOD!!! We were told this location is a collaborative effort of the coffee house up front and Zydeco Bistro in the kitchen. The chef of Zydeco is the same Executive chef that works his magic in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland at the Bourbon Street Barrel Room. If you have been there than you know its a New Orleans style food that makes your knees shake its so good. This location is no different, it was pure bliss from start to finish.We ordered the spinach salad, AMAZING, as well as a sampler platter, Po Boy sandwich with Ocra, sampling of Jumbolia, cappuccino and out of this world bread pudding for desert. OMG, Just writing this is making my mouth water. All this was delivered with great presentation and unbelievable flavor!!!! And finally, the price. This meal was so perfect and to finish it off we paid $52 dollars. What an amazing price. You simply can not go wrong here. You REALLY need to check this place out. You will not be disappointed at all. I am planning my return trip already!!!!

Ive been going here for years and their sandwiches are delicious. I constantly hear discussions on how they can improve their business and they do. They have great coffee and drink selections and Coke with real sugar. Very friendly staff and although their Wednesday open mic nights can get busy, theyre fun. Local business supporting local musicians.

Place was super cute and had a nice ambiance. Id say the food selection was pretty good considering its a cafe. I did wish that the food was a little less pricey, but I can tolerate that since Im supporting a local business. Id recommend the fried egg sandwich if your just wanting something simple and quick and the ultimate grilled cheese of your hungover or just need some cheese!!

A great cafe/bar that reflects the diversity of the community. Its a bit pricey but the food is good and they also have a new lineup of musicians and artwork. I love to come here and just read or do school work.

Very cool place!! It was awesome to be able to get a cup of coffee with Kahlua somewhere other than my own kitchen. Loved the DJ they happened to have the Saturday I was there. Will definitely be returning to check out the food, which looks great by the menu!!

Cute little coffee joint. The coffee is good and so are the pastries. I always try and sit in one of the two comfy chairs right next to the front window. Would like it a little more well-lit, but awesome otherwise.

This is a great open mic venue! The audience is appreciative of both cover songs and original music. The other musicians are supportive and cheer each other on. I was immediately (and continue to be) drawn to the positive energy at this coffee bar. Thank You Todd for facilitating the opportunity for all of us to jam at Sonnets on Wednesday nights!

Best coffee, bar none!! Why go to a chain when the neighborhood has the best coffee and baristas anywhere. My favorite is the breve!! Not to mention the cake and egg breakfast. Youll get a nice smile, great service and a unique hometown experience.

Im so lucky to have a place like this near my house. Awesome food, lots of great beer and great music. They probably have the best selection of sour beers youll find anywhere. The sandwiches are all made with Boars Head meat and everything else is super fresh. Super laid back vibe, really cool place to grab a beer and a great sandwich, wrap or salad. Also, they now have gluten free bread and wraps which makes my girlfriend very happy!

We had an early lunch there on a Saturday. Very good salads... kind staff... neat atmosphere... hope to return soon to hear some live music.

Nice little spot on the wadsworth strip. I took my son with me. Seemed a little too yuppie college kid status for my taste but, its quaint. There are places for sitting, a guy was setting up for a little light music before I left. Took a little while to prepare my bagel,but it was yummy. The coffee was good, but small.

Stopped in this morning for breakfast. Had an absolutely amazing omelette. Light, delicate and absolutely beautiful. Killer cappacino as well. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience here! Boy, I wish I lived closer I would be a regular for sure. Everyone was super kind and seemed happy to be at work. The coffee and food was very good.

Jim is bringing the home town barber shop back to down town Wadsworth. As with any traditional barber, you go for the cut, but come back for the conversation. From the skilled cut, to the hot lather shave, you cannot go wrong with Jim.

Great macchiato, the real thing (shot of espresso plus a little milk foam) ... Huge menu of bourbon/whiskey/scotch... They also offer craft style beers on the tap. The bartender was really nice, and knew her stuff about coffee brewing, single malts, etc.Really worth the visit, just step in and order anything, have a chest and enjoy!

I went in for the first time today as I live right across the street and heard great things about them.Sadly I conclude this place is a bit over-hyped.Firstly the kitchen was poorly ventilated as steam and smoke poured out and engulfed the entire restaurant in a grease cloud. Not sure if this is a common thing, there might have just been a problem with the hoods in the kitchen but if this is normal I wouldnt want to stay too long.The art on the walls was neat, and the vibe was pretty chill so I appreciated that.The food was just OK, had a pastrami sandwich that wasnt all that stand-out but the coffee was fantastic, and they did have lots of different flavors.I wouldnt mind going back for coffee in the morning but not for food, the place was decent but not as good as I thought it would be.UPDATEHaving gone back a few more times the steam from the kitchen was still spreading out each time I went, so it is the case of poor ventilation.I have also tried several different types of coffee and have enjoyed every one of them, the Guatemalan blend is in particular very good.Still, nothing about the place really strikes me as deserving of all the praise it gets. Its has only been a decent experience each visit.

Located just off historic High St. in Downtown Wadsworth. Great food, nice beer selection, good coffee and a pleasant atmosphere any time of day. Serving breakfast lunch and dinner, you walk up and order your food at the counter and the staff brings your food and refills your drinks. It works well and seems to be a hit with the locals. Live music, poetry, and other odes to the arts vary on the nighttime schedule, theres something for everyone. Ive had varying breakfast and lunch items from the menu and yet to order something I didnt like. Highly recommended.

Sonnets was suggested to me many times by different people because I love that type of vibe. Such an unusual place to find in a town like Wadsworth, Ohio. I liked this little place they have a bar, coffee bar with different craffes of coffee to try and if you like the coffee they have out its all available in whole beans for sale. They had really good salads ans giant cookies that were a shockingly good price. They have booths and tables. Friendly staff.

Love the coffee. A little on the pricey side especially for just a cup of java. Hate to see the price of any kind of specialty like a latte or espresso. Last visit coffee was luke warm at best. Staff should pay more attention to what they are serving than local gossip.

They DO have alcohol, which I mismarked. Great coffee place. Its not a fast paced place, so no fast food, which is nice and fits the atmosphere. Not ideal for business meetings, but my company made it work. Not crowded during lunch. Everything on the menu is great IMHO. I am going to try the nightlife and report back. Welcome to Wadsworth. I am hoping small establishments like this will begin to reflect Wadsworth, over the growth of chain restaurants.

I wanted to like this SO bad! I work close by so my options are limited. I used to go all the time up until a year ago, then didnt bring lunch today so I decided to give it another try. The food is extremely inconsistent and pricey for what it is and the location. The last time I was here, I ordered the Turkey Pesto and havent had pesto since because they put spoonfuls of pesto on the sandwich - I scraped ~3 spoonfuls off before I took my second bite and there was still too much.When I went back today, I ordered the Espresso BBQ sandwich and when I came back to open it, I couldnt pick the sandwich up without it falling apart because they didnt drain the pulled pork very well before putting it on there. Also, the sandwiches no longer come with a side, which isnt a big deal when theyre only $1 to add, but $9 for a sandwich in Wadsworth is a little crazy if you ask me. I wont order food here again.The coffee beans on the other hand - Love Potion #9 and Pirates Brew are two of my favorites.

Want to sit in a quaint shop and drink coffee and read (they have ALL the coffee, seriously, come check it out), have a few drinks with friends, have a bite to eat (deli-ish food, but all made in the kitchen and not from a tub and it is De-Lish), or come and watch a few ppl perform at an open mic or the occasional friend that stops by to play for you? This is the place. Did I mention they even have all the whiskey, scotch, or bourbon to fit you fancy? Come here once and youll fall in love with it as I did. See you soon!

Food quality is starting to slip big leauge. I used to really love everything there; I always find something extremely wrong when I eat. Inside needs some work as well. The owner just sits there on his computer while things need wiped and cleaned, Im sure he cares but doesnt show the effort.
