Customer service is great. Usually very helpful, knowledgeable and quick service no matter which department. Only issue is they arent always well stocked on the items I need, but thats too be expected when its not a big box store. Also, pricing can be a little out of hand, but also to be expected when not shopping at a big box store or outlet. In a pinch they are great and I save lots of time not driving to the bigger retailers since its so close and convenient. No problem paying a little extra here because of the service I get and travel time saved.

Great shopping place. Found clay pots for plants and bought the last ones. I had been informed in a different store pots were imported and due to Covid there may be supply issues so if you need it, buy it! Store was large, well stocked and staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. Suggest using Google maps to find this store since is is sort of hidden until you are right next to it.

9/4/2021 My brother-in-law bought a Traeger grill/smoker from here the other week so we went to look at some accessories for his new toy. Ended up selecting some magnets so he could hold tongs and other grilling implements on the side of his grill, a wooden grill scraper, and a rib rack. They had a good selection of Traeger grills & accessories, Big Green Egg items, & Weber items. I also got some Bio Advanced Rose & Flower Insect Killer at a great price. Didnt get a chance to look around at the other products that they sold but the shelves seemed stocked with all kinds of things. Nice counter service told us to be sure to sign up for the Ace Rewards program online. I like this place!

Well organized, didnt have to roam the whole store or wait for help to find what I needed. Great selection of products at decent prices. Glad theyre still in Wahiawa. Dont have to break the bank or go far to fix up your house.

This is a very well stocked hardware store. Staff are exceedingly polite. I went there to procure high pressure air hoses and fittings. Floor staff knew exactly what I needed. Big thank you and mahalo!

We were looking for a certain hex bolt and nut or washer. No one helped my mom or I at all. And all employees saw us there looking trying to find a bolt and such. They didnt approach us or see if we needed help. Their was no customer service given at all.

Service at Pioneer Ace was great. After paying for my hollow tile and tile caps, one of the workers brought everything to my car and loaded it for me. He made sure the tiles and caps were not broken. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Found what I wanted at good prices. Was able to pick up seeds from a local farm and grabbed an above ground gardening bag for some backyard veggies!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They beat the dealers price for a new key fob by $160. But they dont take a credit card by phone, requiring two long drives. Otherwise Id give them 5 stars.

It is amazing the selection you can have in such a small establishment. The staff are super friendly and actually stop and ask if I need assistance (a rare occurrence in most hardware stores). The store is clean and organized. The prices are very good. This store has not let me down before! Great store with great people.

Great customer service. I had another key with fob attached made for my car and paid less than half of what I would at the dealer. Would definitely recommend calling to see if you could get new keys here before going to your dealership

So sad. This used to be a great place to shop, where everyone cared enough to help you. There are only three employees that stand out and would get a 5 star rating, Gordon, Joyce and Lynelle. The rest should be terminated and not be allowed to contribute to the community as their lack of enthusiasm and strong desire to get out of work is clearly evident.

Outstanding store and customer service. They have some of everything! Which would have thought that I would be able to find natural rubber plugs, for closing the drain holes on the belly of a US Army UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter, but Pioneer Ace Hardware, in Wahiawa was my first stop and they had them. We are going to media blast the paint from the helicopter, for repainting and the plugs are perfect for protection, from allowing blast media from entering through to the inside of the belly of tge aircraft. Mahalos to Ace Hardware!!! 🤙🏽🌺

Great hardware store on North Shore. They have everything you need from propane to everything you need to build a house! The staff is always friendly and showing Aloha in any way they can help a customer.

This is the only place that could duplicate/make copies of the key to my Hyundai 2011 Santa Fe. The only one. No other place in Oahu could do it, not home depot, not the mobile key copy makers, not city mill. Mad respect to this Pioneer Ace.

Ace Hardware is a favorite place where one can find a single screw, a bolt, a washer or a nut as well as a variety of fertilizer, tools, paints and nick nacks for the kitchen, yard or building project. Its like a large chain store packed into a small package. Welling through the aisles ids an adventure in itself.

Great neighborhood hardware store. They always have what I am looking for in stock. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are a little higher than say Home Depot, but you would spend the difference in gas going all the way to Home Depot or Lowes anyway.

The friendliest and most knowledgeable persons and each visit for me is a pleasure. I couldnt maintain my home and enjoy my projects without Pioneer.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Instead of my dad enjoying to work on his project, paying a visit to ace hardware was a big mistake because he came home talking about his TERRIBLE experience at Ace with one of the outdoor worker. Because of the lack of customer service my dad refuses to come and shop here again!

I can find things here that you cannot find at city mill, lowes, or home depot. Best personal service I ever got from all the hardware stores. The employee did not just point to a aisle or wall and walk away.

One of the floor service employees who was new to work there knew what I was looking for after I described what I was looking for to him but he said we probably do not have it. He said I may need to go to Home Depot or Lowes for that. So I said ok but did not take that answer so I walked over to the next isle and found what I was looking for in abundance....I was not upset at all but the employee could have gone that extra step and ask another employee who had worked there longer and who had extensive knowledge of their inventory before referring me to another location where the items were.Great store because I go there all of the time I genuinly want to help and not put them on blast I let him know which isle the items were and what section so he could guide some else in the future.

Ace is the place for dire emergencies and good prices on select products

If you need trager pellets or trager accessories this is the place on island to get it. I used to drive all the way out to Kapolei to get pellets. Wahiawa ace hardware is better and has more consumer friendly hours.
