Walked in and Nani, the store manager was so pleasant and happily assisted me with my tire issues. The staff was very friendly and I’m so grateful Nani was able to accommodate me last minute and they worked on my car right away as I need it for work. Will definitely be back again whenever I have car trouble. They’re highly recommended!
Was able to get in the next day for an oil change. Super nice and $60 cheaper than the dealership. Waited across the street at the beach. Not bad! Done in one hour.

Chaden at Waianae store was awesome he gave me unbelievable service. I had a flat and needed a new tire. He advised me not to drive on the donut as I was a distance away. Triple A came and replaced with the donut. Chad recommended that I go to the nearest Goodyear which was in Kapolei. He even checked that that store had my tire. I did and everything worked out. He was very patient and explained everything well to this senior citizen. It was a stressful situation for me but Chad’s demeanor kept me calm. He may think he was just doing his job but I have had many interactions in my long life and not many were as great as this experience with Chad!
Nani has an amazing customer service outlook and she does it all at the front desk; help customers, answer phones and so much more. I appreciate her explaining what has happened to my car and what to look out for in the future. Always appreciate a complete service from beginning to end: though it took awhile to service, but I rather have them take their time than rush through the service. Tire picked up a nail and started leaking! Had to get to work and was pressed on time!Stopped in Waianae Good Year, they were busy with customers.Nani (mngr) said they could be done by 430-5pm. Explained I was tight on time.She made adjustments with her team and they accommodated my situation and was done in 20 minutes! The entire experience was FIRST CLASS! And the positive attitudes and actions of those employees were outstanding! Got to work way early! Oh yeah, the repair was FREE! No charge! What a Blessing! Thank You Nani and Team! Blessings!
I took my car in for service today Nani & Robert was on the front desk taking of some customers ahead of me. It was busy, I admired their professionalism by patiently tending to the customers concern, and answering the incoming calls and inviting the customers to bring their car now. When I checked my vehicle in with Nani, she had such an energetic spirit. I could see she really wanted my business. They completed my car in a quick timely manner. I was also impressed with seeing them use steering wheel cover, floor mat, seat cover protection and they put something on my stick shift I’m thinking due to Covid. I dont live in Waianae, but happened to be in the area for work, when I noticed I had a flat tire. I asked my customer if he knew of any tire repair shops and he suggested GOODYEAR in the Waianae Shopping Center - across Longs and I am glad he did. The manager Nani, helped me expeditiously and with sincere Aloha and professionalism! Her staff was also very professional and courteous.Not only did they diagnose and repair my tire quickly, they did so at no charge, as a courtesy promotion. I would have paid the fee and was caught off-guard by the repair bill (no charge).So if youre like me, visiting the area or a member of the community, no need to worry if you find yourself in a similar situation, go there first!Finally, because it matters to me, their waiting room and especially the bathroom was cleaner than my house.... most auto repair shops have bathrooms (you know, with black or greyed out sinks, etc....) that are used by employees and customers alike, but this one is reserved for customers.Mahalos again to Nani and the Team at Goodyear in the Waianae Shopping Center, keep up the good work!

Just want to say that Chad is the number one front guy! He is knowledgeable and super friendly. As I waited for my car I watched as he took the initiative to clean around and helped me with our second car telling his co-worker “I got this customer “ and I thought to myself “ wow what a hard working guy”! Customer service is a little lacking. Made an appointment a week prior and was told to come in at 0730. Showed up a few minutes early. When the doors were unlocked, one customer preceded me into the store. The person at the desk, Nani, began helping the other customer with a battery issue. After speaking to the other customer for a bit, Nani turned to me and asked if I had an appointment. I said yes, it was for 0730. She said that she asks the people working the desk to not make appointments at 0730 because the mechanic does not get there till 0800, and asked who made me the appointment for 0730. I replied that I couldn’t remember the name of the person. She said “oh, it was me, I remember talking to you.” She then asked which of us were here first, and I replied that the gentlemen with the battery issue (without an appointment) had walked in first. She finished helping him, all while taking phone calls from other customers. After the battery issue guy leaves, she begins asking me questions about the services I need for my vehicle. While helping me she takes several long elaborate phone calls from customers calling the store, eventually telling one to please hold because she has a customer in the store staring standing there staring at her. Overall, was treated with a very condescending attitude and was talked to as if I was an idiot for trying to keep my appointment time. Never got to speak with the mechanic, as was implied that he needed to be there to take information about the problems with my car. $300 diagnostic bill just to check the front wiper motor and a leaking (water into the passenger floorboard) ac drip pan.
The cashier there will try to over charge you as much as they can and meanwhile do as little work as possible. I made an appointment online for oil change. I get a list of prices for different oil options, but I prefer to choose oil in store. When I get there and let the cashier people know I made appointment online, the price is higher than the price on their website. So I have my question asked, he did not admit it and ask me what is the price online with an I dont think so face. So I thought I made a mistake on the price. After leaving the shop, I double checked online and it turned out I was right. So I went back to the shop to show the price, then that guy finally change the price. So, my advice is that you need to argue everything you can, they try to sell you as expensive as they can and treat you like a fool. Dont try to be nice or polite in this store, or you will get over charged. BTW, they offer free tire rotation and brake check for oil change, and they will not bring that to you, you have to ask!
I bring my 3 cars here. 90 percent of the time we have good service. Ive never had any problems with the work Ive gotten from here. I bring my cars in mostly for oil changes, and small jobs.
They went a good amount over what they had originally quoted me for tires. I got the car back and there was grease all over it he rims that they would not wipe off. When I turned the car on, my tire pressure light came on. They told me it was normal and made it seem like a hassle to reset it. One of the workers told me, with an attitude “the pressure is not low, I checked it myself “. Overall I feel it was poor customer service and very pricy! And there is still grease on my rims! I would not go back!

Sloppy mechanics. Left my oil cap off twice causing a big mess under the hood. Cashier guy argued with me before finally making his mechanic clean the mess. Go somewhere else for more professional service.

AVOID THE BALD FRONT DESK MAN. I used to come this Goodyear branch for past two years and it has always been great. The charges were fair, the service was excellent, and it is close to where I live. So this branch becomes my favorite shop when it comes to tire problem and other general maintenance. However, everything changed every since I brought my wifes car here. The front desk bald man saw it is a germany car, he immediately jacked up the price for everything. The first time when we need to replace one of the front tire, because the shop does not have the tire i need so I ordered it online and brought it in store. That dude decided to charge me $60 for replacing it, that is labor only. He did not tell me or show me the charges, simply print the order and asked me to sign. and he told me the cost after the service was done. So I just paid and left without complaining too much. but still feel disgusting about the dudes up selling method. I knew it used to be only $25 ish to replace a tire for my old car when I did same year, same shop.The second time when i came to store because my wife hit a nail and the tire was losing air pressure and I book an appointment with the older guy and he checked it and said they should be able to patch it and told me to come back the next morning. I came next day and the bald man printed out the order and ask me sign AGAIN without explaining me the cost and detail, and he wants to charge me $50 for patch a tire. That is ridiculous, I was frustrated and told him if he can match the goodyear website price, i live here and i know how much is cost to patch a tire. He acts like he doesnt even care, doesnt even wanna take the effort to help me. He left no option but to leave, and I went to Costco and get the tire patched for $15.
Tried to get an appointment for a safety check, but the woman behind the counter was taking to her friend for a minute, then when they didnt want me to listen, went outside for another 5 minutes. I just left. Dont want business, ya dont get business.

I retired from the military 7 years ago and moved here on Oahu just because of past experience. When I first arrived here in Waianae, I had bad experiences where 2 different business’s tried taking advantage of me. Then, I went to Goodyear in Waianae and was taken care of quickly and efficiently. The mechanics do their jobs well and are experienced. I always like to go and tell them afterwards thank you because it’s hard to find good honest mechanics.The customer service personnel like Robert are always ready to help and wastes no time in assisting anybody. I really like the way they treat the elderly too, straight Aloha. This is all because of great Management and that’s Nani. I never introduced myself to Nani but always saw her there taking care of business. Because of this service I’ve been a loyal customer to just this one location for 7 years now. I have used the credit card service and the towing service. It’s very assuring and relaxing knowing that my vehicle is being taken care of. I recommend this specific store to anyone. Much Mahalos!!!
